This is an excellent book that should be given to anyone who has had a family member suffer a stroke. It is explained in terms that are very easy to understand. The authors tell what is happening to the patient and also gives advice to the family members.

My father has had 3 strokes and I never saw him cry my whole life until then. He cried daily in the rehab because he missed his dog and wanted to go home. It was very hard to hear but now I realize that is something that goes with strokes. We were not informed of that. This is a must read whether you are the patient or the care giver.

I highly recommend this short book packed with medical advice about strokes!
