I would first like to let you know this book contains mature subject matter and is intended for mature audiences only.
This is my very first Christmas book! I love Christmas so much, it's my favorite holiday simply because of the way it makes me feel. I love the magic the time with family, the beauty, the music and most of all the love that is felt during this season.
Earlier this year I was working on and halfway through another book that contained heavier matter. I thought it would be the book I released at the end of this year. But then tragedy struck and I lost my momma. Throughout my entire life my mom has always been there and for the last several years lived with my husband and I. She was always one of my biggest fans and so proud of me. She's the only family member that has read every book I wrote. With the loss of my momma, I couldn't continue the other book, it put me in a bad space.
About a month later, I was itching to just write and decided I needed a lighter book filled with magic. Nothing is more magical than Christmas for me, so I started a Christmas book which I intended to be a sweet, closed door romance, but Holly and Connor broke busted that ides in chapter one, so you get a little spice. It brought me out of the depression I found myself sinking into. I've never written a book so fast, but being with Connor and Holly brought me joy. My hope is that I captured those moments inside and around the Lane Family's home and that it has you reminiscing about your own family traditions and memories. I hope the banter between Connor and Holly and the family banter between the Lane's gives you a giggle.
