Description
WELCOME TO THE FANTASTIC WORLD OF POGS!
Continuing on from her first childrens book, Hokey Pokey Pig and I, Deborah Elias follows the
adventures of Hokey Pokey Pig as he goes in search of The Pogs.
What is the Tooth Fairy doing with all the teeth she collects? Hokey Pokey Pig is back, and this time he is going on an adventure to see The Pogs. Join Neve and Hokey as they enter the 'Forest So Deep' in search of the Secret Money Trees, determined to find out what is happening to all the teeth.
A vivid, colourful and engaging story for children, Hokey Pokey Pigs and The Pogs by Deborah Elias is a funny and bouncy story that will make any child giggle. Designed to encourage children to read and give them a head start with their literacy abilities, this book is full of rhymes to help children progress with their reading. Let this Pog-tastic rhyming picture book fire your child's imagination!
"The Quangle Wangles Hat by Edward Lear was the first book I learnt to read aloud and I can still remember the joy of looking at the pictures and knowing the words to go with it," explains Deborah. "I decided to write my own childrens book to inspire other children to read, write and draw the worlds they see in their imagination."
Inspired by the success of her first book, Hokey Pokey Pig & I, Elias is currently taking the tales of Hokey Pokey Pig into schools to teach literacy to Key Stage 1 children, aged 0-7 years, helping to start them on their reading adventure and inspire them for the future.
