I would like to begin by thanking Net Galley and Carina for my advanced copy for my honest review.
Pippa Darling needs a change, she has lost her parents, is finishing school and is about to start out on her own.
But before that can happen, she takes an internship with her brother's dear friend Jamal...in Dubai.
She has had a crush on that man since she was 9 years old! Of course being so much younger than him, she thought he never knew she existed...well she thought wrong. The only person standing in her way is his fiance...Faridah.
The back and forth flirting between these two is adorable and funny at the same time! She can pick on him like no other and it gets under his skin!
She constantly is on his case to let lose and enjoy life and have a little fun but he just can't seem to do that. Too much family responsibility is ALWAYS his reason.
But then Pippa's 21st birthday rolls around and all sorts of crazy things begin to happen...Who is behind this rather elaborate sinister plot to bring Pippa down? Jamal begins to fear for her safety so he chooses to move her into his apartment to keep her safe.
What a whirlwind turns one right after another...

Pippa gets a job in Dubai for a year working for one of her brothers friends. She had a crush on him since childhood. She is looking forward to a year in the sun- and maybe a flirtation with Jamal. She wants to enjoy everything life has to offer and is hoping Jamal is going to enjoy it along with her.
Unfortunately she discovers that he has a fiancé and is totally controlled by his family. He works hard and doesn’t seem an ideal candidate for a boyfriend!
After her 21st birthday ends in a fairly sinister way- he feels responsible for keeping her safe and moves her into his apartment. She tries to get him to loosen up and have fun. What will happen next?
