Description

Learn how to beat the bullies with this compelling and compassionate new guide.

UK anti-bullying organisation BeatBullying estimates that 170,000 children will miss school every day as a result of the bullying they are suffering. Having experienced years of verbal abuse because of her height, Uche Nnoka fully understands the emotions, patterns of behaviour and coping mechanisms that victims of bullying develop.
'Don't Let Bullies Ruin Your Life' explores the low points of Uche's teenage years and explains how she managed to navigate her way back to wholeness. Lovingly speaking to all wounded souls still overwhelmed by bullying, Uche uses her personal story, and easily applicable steps that may help you deal with your harrowing experiences, and to encourage you to get your life back.

Uche works with a handful of organisations located in the South London area who are dedicated to fighting the scourge of gun and knife crime which has claimed the lives of many young people. Read more about Uche and her work at www.uchennoka.com.

As someone who has been bullied, I highly recommend this book. It would be helpful for parents and educators to read this as well. It gives sensible advice about how to handle bullying and manage your stress after bullying incidents. it is complex in how bullying is addressed. It is a common sense approach to handling bullying. I recommend it very highly and thank the author for such a compelling look at a growing problem in todays society

Fairly short and readable. The bully subject has become increasingly noticeable in the last few years. She does a great job showing the personal side of how it can affect ones life.
