Description
‘An utterly compelling story of loss and betrayal – I loved it’ – Judy Finnigan
Evie has been away from home long enough to bury the pain that shaped her childhood.
Now, with the sudden death of her father, she must return. Back to the same house. Back to the memories. Back to her mother.
At first, coming home feels unexpectedly comforting. But, as she goes through her father’s files, Evie uncovers a secret that opens old wounds and changes her life forever.
That’s only the beginning.
As Evie’s world starts to shatter around her, she realises that those she loves most are also those capable of the deepest betrayal.
A powerful, poignant novel, Coming Home is perfect for fans of Jodi Picoult and Liane Moriarty.

This is my first foray into Annabel Kantaria's work but it will not be the last. From the opening chapter I was deeply invested in Evie's story and felt her pain every step of the way. If you are a fan of Liane Moriarty you will be equally enamored with Kantaria's writing. The story unfolded perfectly. At times heartbreaking, at times heartwarming... Coming Home will make you FEEL. A beautiful written family drama. You will not want to miss this one. Trust me.

wow, what a book! loved the storyline and all the lies and the deceit. i loved it that much that i finished it in an afternoon as it had me gripped and couldnt turn the pages quick enough. will certainly be looking out for more books by this author.

Evie is living away from home in Dubai when she receives the news of her fathers death which means she has to return to the home of her painful childhood memories. Evie's brother died when she was young and her mother had a breakdown blaming her father for the death, part of the book is set in this time with Evie learning to cope with it.
Once home Evie starts going through some of her father's papers and this is when she starts to learn of the web of lies and deceptions that have taken place
It is an amazing book that keeps you riveted as more and more comes to light a great read that had a lot more depth than i was expecting
