I requested this book because I plan on going into social work when I finish college. I am not usually the type of person that enjoys reading informational or text books like this, but this was a very informative books. It just seems like there is a LOT of information and I think that it could be shortened a little bit so that it is easier to read, and more understandable. The lay-person, such as myself, may have a hard time really getting to the meat and bones of this book because there is just SO MUCH to look at. Other than that, i really liked this reference text, and I think that it will help anyone who is going to go into this line of work.
