I always eagerly await a book by Sarah Morgan because what she writes is simply gold! I adore the cover on this book and it is a spectacluar storyline.

It kind of takes time to get your head around the fact you're not reading about Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City - or even Miranda, but that could be me and my love for all things SATC.

This book features three women who have grown together and endured many hardships and emotions along the way. The main focus is upon Paige who has a brother, Matt who's best friends with Jake - the guy she has loved since she was a girl fighting in hospital with her heart health concerns. Matt has always been protecting Paige and still to this day protects her to the extreme. So much so that sometimes Paige feels a little claustrophobic and controlled. Jake has never protected her...or has he?

The three women all work together - until one day they all lose their jobs together. Unable to see a way forward, Jake suggests they start their own business - Urban Genie. Over time Paige allows her heart to heal and to enjoy living life again. There is even a little romance with the one guy she has only ever loved. But will Matt find out, and if he does, how will he react? Will Paige ever get her happily ever after, or will she be Sleepless in Manhattan? ;-)

I can't wait to read book 2 in the trilogy that will feature on Frankie and her journey between healing her past, and loving her future.

I have been a huge Sarah Morgan fan for well since forever! I am so excited for this new series From Manhattan With Love ... the first book in the series is sleepless in Manhattan and its a perfect opener with an explosive romance at the heart of it! You are introduced fully to five characters and even though the focus is the driven but totally adorable Paige and the bad boy of business Ryan you also become immediately tied to the supporting characters which only just makes you want more as the little that is revealed about them is intoxicating and addictive.

The story is how when one door opens maybe you just have to climb through a window, okay not exactly the saying but life is never simple and Paige's life has never been simple. page is fiercely interdependent after a childhood of living in cotton wool, after a traumatic childhood Paige wants nothing but to show the world she can stand on her own two feet but when the rug is pulled out from under her there is only one person who knows what Paige actually needs. Shame Paige can't bare to look at him without remembering past embarrassment or having a heated argument.

The supporting characters are brilliant, you have Paige's two best friends both completely different but tied by friendship and love. you have romantic foodie, with a heart of gold and an unwavering "look on the bright side" persona. she is delightful, then you have the my mother is a lunatic and love is a fallacy but I'm a black belt and a florist genius (yeah the personality combinations are AMAZING!! Not forgetting Paige's older brother, who is sensitive, funny and happens to be a high flying architect.

This book was hot! It was full of life and passion and truly an absolute pleasure to read. I can not wait to read more from the series, if you like romance, with heat, a healthy dose of humour, and downright steamy leading men, stop what you are doing and buy Sarah Morgan's entire back catalogue which i hear is around 75 books!!

Fresh, romantic, complexity and heart! It's everything you want in romance!

Paige needs help setting up her own business and the one person she needs help from is the one person she feels she can't go to. Jake is her brothers best friend and also her childhood crush. She is determined not to make a fool of herself again but with sparks flying between them can they avoid things getting messy.

So first of all I have to talk about Paige & Jake as they have great chemistry, I couldn't wait to read more about them. I was hooked from the start, they were both fiery characters and the tension simmered just below the surface until it finally exploded. All of their scenes together were electric.

I also loved the friendship between Paige, Eva & Frankie they all fit well together as friends with some funny moments as a group. Frankie and Eva are great supporting characters and I can't wait to find out what happens with them in the next books.

The story moved at a great pace and I never found myself bored whilst reading this book. I loved the little quotes at the start of each chapter. This book kept me entertained throughout, if I didn't have two small children I would have happily read this in one day. Now I pretty much knew how this book would end but I didn't see this as a problem. A lot of books are predictable but that doesn't make them any less interesting to read. I can't really say anything negative about Sleepless In Manhattan other than the fact that I'm going to have to be patient and wait for the next book in the series.

If you have never read a book by Sarah Morgan I highly recommend her, she writes great romance stories. Sleepless In Manhattan is a fun romance that is perfect for a cosy night in!

5 stars from me!

Thank you to Harlequin UK & Netgalley for my copy to read & review.

Another winner from Sarah! I read her short story Midnight at Tiffany's over Christmas and this book takes the story up form the point of view of 3 friends who also worked for the events company. They are sacked when Matilda is and this book follows their fortunes as they set up their own business.

It is primarily the relationship between Paige and Jake that we follow in this book. At the same time, we get to know Paige's brother Matt and her friends Eva and Frankie.

The romance between Jake and Paige is HOT!! A lot of mutual history, the fact that Matt is also Jake's best friend and health and emotional complications in the past make for a very fiery story!

Loved it all - especially the setting - I am a Manhattan addict ;)

Little teaser at the end for the next book which will feature Frankie. I'm saying no more, except....I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I am pretty certain there will never be a Sarah Morgan book that I won’t love. This was certainly no exception. Thank you to Harlequin for approving me for a review copy of this title via Netgalley. I couldn’t wait to get started so I dove in straight away.

The first book in Sarah’s latest series – From Manhattan With Love – is all about Paige and Jake. There are two storylines I will never get tired of reading. One of them is friends turned lovers, the other is the storyline in Sleepless in Manhattan and that is the whole in love with older brother’s best friend but said best friend can’t act on it out of loyalty to his friend. The storyline itself is inherently filled with tense, angsty moments where the chemistry between the characters practically zaps off the page like static. Sarah has out done herself with this one for me. I think this is my very favourite book of hers to date!

Paige and Jake’s history makes for a sexy and intense read. I kept waiting and waiting for that moment when they both gave in to their true feelings and when it finally did happen it was perfect - a rush of lust and pent up frustration pouring out in one single tryst. The story goes on from there where the undeniable connection forces the characters together.

Paige and her friends embark on their own business after getting the boot from their jobs. The story follows them through the initial start-up of their business where, with Jake’s help, they get their company off the ground. I really enjoyed reading about the business because it’s so different to what I do in my own career it felt like I was a part of their new venture.

Eva and Frankie are set to star in their own novels later in the year so it’s good to get a glimpse of their character and a hint of the direction their story might take. I can’t wait for the release of the next book already; I might even have to re-read this one in between then and now!

Thanks to netgalley for offering this in exchange for an honest review. Considering this book is yet to be published I can honestly say it's going to be hell on earth waiting so long for book 2 of this set 😋
It was lovely to follow on from the puffin island series with a new set of 3 friends Paige, Eva and Frankie and I can't wait to read all three stories.
As usual Sarah Morgan gave enough teasing information about the other characters to entice you read their stories later on without giving away too much information or interrupting the current storyline which in this book was the story of Paige who is sharing an apartment block with brother Matt and two friends Frankie and Eva and who has for a long time been in love with her brothers friend Jake. We start with Paige anticipating a promotion at work which ends unexpectedly but opens up a whole new part of her life and finds her dealing with Jake a little more than expected and re ignites her feelings but also shows how sometimes going from friends to more than friends isn't necessarily plain sailing.
This was a fun loving story with the sprinkling of magic I've come to love in Sarah Morgan's books

Really enjoyed this tale of three girls in Manhattan- and finding love. Steamier than I'm used to reading, nevertheless I found it enjoyable and pacy. All the characters were believable and I wanted to find out what would happen next. A fun, engaging read - and a perfect change of style, pace and tone after the back-to-back thrillers I've read of late.

Fun, fast and fabulous!! 4🌟🌟🌟🌟

I would like to name Sarah Morgan as the queen of romantic trilogies. The past two I have read by her have been brilliant and now having finished Sleepless in Manhattan which is the first full book in her new series, I am astounded.

If you have never encountered Sarah Morgan's three book series before, then what you need to know is each book will be standalone, but they feature a set of normally 3 characters, whether they are brothers, sisters, friends, and tend to have recurring characters. Each will focus on a specific romance and they tend to all end happily.

What makes every book she writes completely different though, and feel completely different are the settings and the details, and the setting for Sleepless in Manhattan is of course New York.

I am a huge fan of books set in New York, and with Sleepless in Manhattan you really do get a feeling for the city that never sleeps, and its vibrancy. The action centres around Paige and her two best friends Frankie and Eva. They all have different skills and unfortunately all lose their jobs for Star Events on the same day.

With some encouragement from Paige's brother, Matt's best friend, Jake, the girls decide to set up on their own and Urban Genie is born. I loved hearing all about their new company and what it could provide, and although it wasn't the main point of the book, I really hope to see more of it in the next books of the series.

Another small thing that really made me smile with this book was that the girls came from Puffin Island, which is obviously a nod to Sarah Morgan's previous series. Although I couldn't spot any recurring I still liked seeing the occasional mention of the island and mentally being transported back to those books.

There is clear sexual tension right from the start and in some respects I am amazed they didn't get together sooner, although I do understand the reasonings. I am going to mention the ending made me tear up a bit, and I suspect most romantics will have the same sort of reaction. (If that is a bit of a spoiler then I apologise, but to me a romance book is all about the journey, than the potentially obvious outcome).

I loved every single second of Sleepless in Manhattan, from the lift scene, to the movie nights, to all the various character interactions. Jake is a sexy bad boy, and I would have loved to swap places with Paige, for just one night even.

Sleepless in Manhattan is a fantastic book, an complete pleasure to read, and cements Sarah Morgan in my mind as one of my favourite romance authors of all time.

Thank you so much to Netgalley and MIRA for this review copy. This was my honest opinion.

Oh my where do I start with feedback, this story was like your very own award winning romance movie at your fingertips. It was so romantic and sexy you could feel the heat emanating from the characters from the pages. The sexy scenes were tastefully done and were true to the characters history and personality.

The story is set around 3 girlfriends, a brother and his best friend. Paige, Frankie and Eva have been best friends for such a long time and when they managed to get employment within the same company they couldn't have been happier. However, when the company they work for is making cutbacks and the girls are left without employment they believe they'll never share a great working relationship with each other again. Until however, Jake, Paige's brother Matt's best friend, encourages the girls to set up their own business. The girls with renewed enthusiasm prepare to work as a team.

Jake and Matt have been best friends forever and when Paige spent a few weeks in hospital to have a lifesaving operation Jake was her saviour. He didn't mollycoddle her like her brother and parents, he treated her normally and made her smile and forget about her illness. Paige soon became close with Jake and started to develop strong feelings for him. After many years since her operation Paige is still close to Jake but not as close as before, she let her feelings control her head back then and Jake became cooler with her. Paige still finds Jake attractive and her feelings for him haven't really altered and when the pair start working together on an assignment you can feel the underlying chemistry between them.

The story focuses mainly on Paige and Jake's journey struggling with the intense chemistry which never fades when they are together. Can their shared history heal Jake's past which left him heartbroken and confused about the meaning of love.

I loved all the characters in this novel and am looking forward to hearing Eva's story, she is so lovable and enthusiastic. Frankie's story would be quite different I believe to Eva's. Frankie is so anti-men, she is independent and happy with her life at the moment, however, she does share a stronger bond with Paige's brother than Eva and I am hoping Matt can prove to Frankie that no all men are the same.

Sarah Morgan always creates wonderful, warm characters you can easily relate to and want them as friends. Her description of the book settings are idyllic she sees beauty in all surroundings.

This story left me feeling very contented and wanting more from Paige, Eva, Frankie, Matt and Jake. Excited for more from these much loved characters.

5 - "Sometimes you just have to take that leap." Stars!

I think if I met Sarah Morgan, I’d give her a hug and thank her profusely for being a writer, while gibbering nonsensical words and phrases about how much I love her books. I’m still relatively a new reader of this authors work, but knowing she has over seventy published books, a large number of which I have still too read makes me a happy girl.

IMAGE.

Sleepless in Manhattan grabbed me from the get-go, and it is the start of a series that I just know is going to get better with each and every book added. Paige, Eva and Frankie have been friends since childhood, and now live in a converted Brownstone together, with Paige’s brother Matt filling the last apartment.

"Magic happens in this city. It’s full of hope and possibilities."

One thing that shows this authors irrefutable skill as a writer is that fact that all three of these women have very diverse characteristics and differing personalities, and it is very clear that Paige is the organizer of the three, Eva the glass half full, romanticist, and Frankie the blunt and down to earth one of the group, but you can also feel the great love and depth of friendship they have for each other as well.

Jake Romano, is Matt’s best friend. He has been there for Paige through thick and thin, the rock she leant on when her health was suspect as a young woman, the man she fell in love with during the time they spent together, while he kept her company when she was stuck in a hospital bed. The love then wasn’t returned, and Paige has spent the intervening years trying to move on from the fact that she read the situation with Jake so wrong.

"I’m not your brother and I’m not your parents. You don’t have to do the happy act with me. I can cope with the truth."

But Paige wasn’t as wrong as she thought she was, and through the culmination of several big life changes that ensures they end up spending more time together and alone than normal, she finds that her feelings for Jake may not have been as one sided as she initially thought. This in itself brings about a whole new level of problems though, with him being her brothers best friend for one, and a total commitment-phobe sitting at the the top of the list.

"My new favorite hobby might be kissing off your lipstick."

I loved this book, I loved all the characters in it, the locations and the overall story arc between them all, and the focal story-line between Jake and Paige, was all that I wanted and expected it to be.

"When I’m with a woman, I’m with a woman. She is my starter, my main course and my dessert. There are no side dishes."

The author has set this series up extremely well, in that there is a huge amount of scope for the future books, and that you have three very different women all with their own personalities and ideals in regards to men and relationships.

"I’d take any risk to be with you."

Predictably perfect as usual, Sarah took me away, and put me in New York, with a group of women I’d want to be friends with, and several men I’d like to find myself in-between the sheets with! Frankie and Matt are due next with Sunset in Central Park due for release in July.

ARC generously provided via Netgalley, and it was my absolute pleasure to provide the above honest review.

When you pick a novel by Sarah Morgan, you more or less know what to expect: friendship, banter, sexy scenes and lots of romance. But, somehow, with every story she always manages to surprise me. In the first book in her new trilogy, we travel to New York to meet best friends Paige, Frankie and Eva. They work and live together so when their company make the three of them redundant, they find themselves in quite a difficult situation. In this first book, the star of the story is Paige. She is driven and hard working and is determined to turn this situation around so with a bit of encouragement, she decides to set their own events company.

The encouragement comes from Paige's brother, lovely Matt, and his best friend, gorgeous and dangerous Jake. As you can image, sparks fly every time Paige and Jake meet. But Paige learnt her lesson, when she confessed her love for him when she was a teenager and he politely but firmly refused her. Plus, Jake dates a new girl every week. It shouldn't be a problem for them to work together, should it? But the tension between them just kept escalating and I kept wishing they could see they were made for each. Lucky for us, all this sexual tension lead to some really sexy scenes with these two.

As much as I enjoyed Paige and Jake's story, I also had a great time getting to know dreamy Eva and tough Frankie and, of course, protective and all in all good guy Matt. Sarah Morgan's trilogies always introduce us to a trio of characters and then each book focuses on each of them and I can hardly wait to read all about Eva's and Frankie's stories. Plus, I had the feeling that Matt might be interested in one of them...

Another thing that made me fall in love with this novel was the setting. I love New York, I've been there twice and I'm already looking forward to going back. With this story I could totally picture myself there, from cool and trendy Brooklyn to posh and lively Manhattan. The life and shine of the city really got through the story and it felt like it was one more character in the story. Plus, the setting gave the novel a movie feeling (the ending also helped with this, what an ending!). I'd definitely love to see this story in the big screen.

All in all, Sleepless in Manhattan is Sarah Morgan at her best. She brings us a romantic story that ticks all the boxes with lovable characters and a stunning setting. What else can you ask for?

I’m a huge Sarah Morgan fan and when I saw that her next series is set in New York I got really excited. I’m going to NYC soon, so it’s a bit more special.

The first book of the series is called Sleepless in Manhattan and it follows Paige. Paige has a great life in NYC, she lives in Brooklyn and loves her job. Her best friends Eva and Frankie work at the same company, everything is great, until they all lose their jobs…

Her brother Matt is there to comfort her and with him is his best friend Jake Romano. Jake is very successful and can help her, he gives her the idea of how to start over. The problem about that?! It’s Jake, her first love and forever crush Jake.

Paige fell head over heels for Jake when she was a teenager, but after she was honest about her feelings to him, he rejected her. Only after a while in the book, we actually learn why…

The fab thing about this book is that we not only got to see Paige’s side of the story, but also Jake’s. Yes, he might have had a different woman every night, but his real feelings are deep and real for only one person. His past and some other circumstances made him the man he is today and made him reject Paige. His feelings are still here though.

The two of them get to spend a lot of time now, because Jake is helping Paige and her friends with their new business. The more time they spend together, the closer they get and the more they realise that old feelings never die.

I loved reading about the two of them together. In my eyes they are perfect for each other!!! Their chemistry is electric and Sarah includes some passionate scenes as well. But where will it lead? What if Paige tells him she loves him?! How will he react?! Well, read this fabulous story!!!!

We get to explore New York through this story, with Sarah talking about some fabulous places.

The friendships portrayed in this book are incredible. First of all the three women, who are inseparable and always there for each other, but also Matt and Jake being best friends, Matt and Paige as siblings and the five of them as a group. I want to part of their group please! Fun movie nights, great views on the balcony, Italian food at Maria Romano’s restaurant, breakfast together and much more.

I couldn’t put this book down. It might seem like a normal rom com, like every other, but it’s not! Sarah takes it to a whole new level with her writing. It’s so vivid, passionate and full of life, I felt like being there with the characters. I adore the storyline, it flows beautifully and the characters? Well, every single one of them is awesome! They are all great personalities and very unique. I can’t wait to dive into book two of the series and find out what Sarah has in store for the other characters, especially Paige’s brother Matt.

I was approached by Harper Collins after reading Behind Closed Doors by B A Paris asking me if I would like to read another one of their titles and this one really grabbed me. After reading quite a few thrillers back to back I needed a feel good read and this seemed to be the perfect book for that. This is the first book I have read by this author but it certainly won't be the last, it was a real tearjerker that pulled at my heartstrings and I can't wait for the second one in this series, Sunset in Central Park to be released. I would highly recommend this book and would like to thank Harper Collins for sending it to me. I will post my feedback on Netgalley and Goodreads now and on Amazon on publication day. 5 well deserved stars from me!

These three titles represent Books 1, 2 and 3 of the From Manhattan With Love trilogy by Sarah Morgan. I hope that she won't mind me reviewing them all at the same time. They do each stand alone, but really deserve to be read in sequence. Also, the stories are quite intertwined, so it is difficult to write about them without giving away plot points, so apologies for any spoilers.

The books deal with the lives and loves of three girls from the same small island community who have moved to live in New York and work for the same events company. The girls, Paige, Frankie and Eva, live in a rather magnificent sounding Brooklyn brownstone owned by Paige's brother, Matt. A landscape designer, he has created a rooftop terrace where they and their friends can relax and share the view. It sounds an idyllic place to spend summer evenings.

Each book centres on a different girl. In the first, Paige is on the way to work expecting to be told of her promotion, but instead all 3 girls find themselves out of work and wondering what to do. A way in which they can continue to use all the skills they have learned and contacts made over the years occurs to them and forms the basis of their professional activities in this and subsequent books. Whilst working hard to build a successful business, each of the girls is looking for romance; often it comes from unexpected directions.

I very much enjoyed these books. Sarah Morgan really brought everything to life with her skilful writing and clever descriptions. The last title was a lovely festive read. As I said, each book could be read in isolation, but I would definitely recommend the whole trilogy. The books are easy to read, and you find yourself quickly immersed in life in Manhattan.
