I am currently studying an module entitled Innovation and Entrepreneurship as part of my MBA degree - so to be given the chance to review this book was amazing . I didn't read the book cover to cover, I dipped in and out of the chapters as they became relevant to my module. and I also refered to the book quite a bit when writing fmy assignment - a very interesting and informative book, I will be discussing this book with my lecture with a view to it being added to the essential reading list for the module. The book presents a series of examples of social innovation projects and enterprises; for each case study there is an abstract and then a detailed description. At the end there is a bibliography and "what's to learn" from the specific experience.
It's an interesting book, but I would have liked an more detailed introduction and facts about social innovation (to provide a general background on the topic), and then the case studies
