The second novel in Rakunas's Windswept series.
"Like a Boss" has most of what made the first book in the series an engaging and enjoyable read: the writing is great, the characters are interesting and varied, and the plot is action-packed.
If you're looking for an interesting SF series that doesn't tread over-familiar territory, then I'd recommend this one.
