Do you love to host events/gatherings? Are you sometimes at a loss for words on a first date? What is the best way to learn more about someone? Well I found the perfect book to help you. Can I ask you a personal question? by Jon Steele is a collection of 1000 questions to ask yourself, friends, family and lovers. The questions are funny, invasive, nosy, revealing and thought-provoking. Keep in mind some questions ask the same thing but worded differently—my only gripe about this book.
Can I ask you a personal question? is available now. Every event host needs this.

This book really is literally just filled with tons of questions to ask in order to get to know people; there is no plot line because it's just like a giant list! That said, the questions were pretty unique (I mean, they'd have to be in order to have that many with no repeats), which I appreciated. I wish I had this book when my husband and I first started dating -- it probably would've saved us some moments of awkward silence and helped us getting to know one another more quickly. ;) Even so, the questions provide a good conversation-starter, even if you know the other person(s) pretty well. Not sure I would spend money on this giant list (because, let's be honest: I could probably put together these questions myself after some extensive Google searching), but there is something to be said about convenience, so I'm sure this will appeal to a lot of people strictly for that reason.
I dont know if I would ask some of these questions to my family members but I would to my friends. I think this would be a great thing to have when you are with a group of friends and want to get a good game of truth and dare going. If you get stumped this book would help you come up with some good questions for the truth part.
