Last and final instalment :( in the Manhattan With Love Series brings Eva’s story. I can’t tell you how excited I was to read this as it’s been a great trilogy with wonderful romance.

Eva’s latest assignment with Urban Genie brings her to crime writer Lucas Blade’s apartment where she has to decorate and cook for Christmas while Lucas is off writing his latest novel in Vermont, only he isn’t in Vermont!

Eva Jordan’s character is one of true innocence, vulnerability and I especially like her straight talking even though it often gets her in trouble. The fact that she becomes the inspiration that Lucas needs to get over his writers block is a sheer joy to read as both are forced to explore their emotions while sharing the loss of loved ones.

Her best friends Paige, Frankie and their partners pop up occasionally keeping their stories in this series on going.

Sarah Morgan is just brilliant at writing contemporary romance and I’m sure that having to delve into the unsavoury mind of a crime author as part of her research caused her several sleepless nights! Happy endings are always guaranteed with this author’s novel and didn’t disappoint me this time with Eva being such a fairy-tale romantic the ending is perfect.

An absolutely beautiful, yet funny, real and romantic story. It almost felt surreal, like a beautiful movie was reeling. Simply loved the characters, the story and the entire book. Sarah Morgan presents a beautiful story of love, pain, relationships and an ending which would keep the readers most satisfied.
Eva Jordan is an Romanticist, an upfront and innocent character, she believes in love happening, and she is eager to meet someone whom she can fall in love with and not spend her next Christmas alone. Eva is part of Urban Genie, whereby her next assignment is to redecorate the apartment and cook for the crime write Lucas Blade who is supposedly away in Vermont.
Her discovery on 5th avenue to find Lucas hiding away in his apartment from the world, to mourn the death of his wife who died three years ago is quiet a surprise, their first encounter is met with quiet some entertainment, accompanied with the NYPD.
Engulfed with funny, loving moments, the book trails to lead you on a bumpy ride, what is in surprise for the lovable Eva on 5th avenue? Will Lucas be able to be the same again after spending days with Eva in his apartment due to the blizzard weather?
A must read, one that will keep you yearning for more.

I love, love, love Sarah Morgan and I especially love her Christmas books and this one could be her best yet.

I always look forward to Sarah Morgan's winter themed stories so when I received this from NetGalley I couldn't resist starting it immediately even though it was a warm and sunny Saturday in September. I enjoyed it so much I read the whole book in one sitting. While the plot is a little bit predictable, the writing and the characters make it a funny, sweet and addictive read and the whole thing left me with a big fat smile on my face.

I love the opposites attract thing and main characters Eva and Lucas make for a brilliant pairing. Eva is the bubbly, glass half full, hopeless romantic who sometimes lacks the brain to mouth filter and often says more than she means to. Lucas is the grumpy, brooding and cynical horror writer who believes everyone is hiding a dark secret and he has a few of his own. From their very first meeting they are electric together. I loved their bantering and teasing and it often had me laughing out loud (thankfully I was home alone).

The setting of New York is absolutely perfect and plays a such a big part of the story I almost felt like I was there (I definitely need to go soon). There were a couple of little bits that niggled at me which I won't go into because of spoilers but they are relatively minor and easy to over look.

Definitely a book I'd recommend if you're looking for a light and romantic Christmas read that'll leave you with a smile.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review

This is the first book that I have read by Sarah Morgan and what a first book to start on my journey with her!!!
I love a good romantic Christmas story and this sure didnt disappoint me at all, the writing was so good and so imaginative I could almost feel myself there with the characters, from feeling all the emotions that the characters went through to literally smelling the food as Eva prepared and cooked it in Lucas's kitchen. The setting was genious of them being trapped together in his apartment because of the snowstorm adding a lovely romantic touch.
Eva Jordan is a wonderful character that was hard to not like and I connected to her so easily, she see's the good in everything while hiding her own emotions from everyone, she melted my heart with her sweet and cheery outlook of the world.
Lucas Blade's character is a torn and tormented soul that you just know needs a good woman to help him find himself again and show him just how good love can be. He was a little frustrating at times with his pessimistic way of thinking but as a crime writer I suppose you would get to have that way of looking at things.
Eva and Lucas are poles apart in everything that they believe in but together their opposites attract and they cant help feeling something happening between them no matter how much they try to fight against it. They both bring out the best in each other and come to reach out and reveal their true selves and show the pain they are going through.
I was an emotional mess buy the time I had finished reading this book, it was beautiful, magical but also heartbreaking all wrapped up in a pretty Christmas bow.
Wonderful storytelling by a very talented author, I cant wait to read many more books from Sarah Morgan.
A brilliant 5 Stars!!

Through flourishing new business, Urban Genie, Eva is sent to the home of a clients grandson, famous author Lucas Blade, to decorate and prepare his home for Christmas whilst he is away on a writing retreat. Eva loves Christmas. A time full of magic and memories, but also one that is difficult for her since the loss of her Grandma.

Lucas Blade hates Christmas. He has hidden himself away in the run up to the festivities to write his new novel. Three years ago he lost his wife in an accident and his life hasn't been the same since, but all is not as it seems.

Will Eva and Lucas get a little more than they bargained for from Santa this year?

This is the third and final instalment in the From Manhattan with Love series, and I have to say it was my favourite. Eva is a delightful character to read. Full of optimism and love she bounces off the pages. Lucas with his brooding dark looks and his injured soul is the ideal leading man.
The writing is so compelling I flew through the pages, reading until the early hours just to finish.
I am sad that the trilogy is over but I can't wait to pick up more books by Sarah Morgan.

This is the story of Eva and Lucas and the third book in the From Manhattan with Love series.

I enjoyed the way Morgan left everyone else more or less out of the mix this time. The majority of the book is just Eva and Lucas interacting with each other. Just pure emotions and a lot of conversation.

Eva lives in a happy bubble full of unicorns and candy-floss dreams. As far as she is concerned everything can be healed or fixed with a little love and a lot of food. She is a wee hurricane of chaos and the complete opposite of Lucas.

Lucas has become a recluse since the death of his wife, and certainly doesn’t welcome the interruption caused by the incoming storm called Eva.

Eva manages to unintentionally start the great thaw of icy Lucas, which in itself isn’t a bad thing except for the minor issue of Lucas not wanting to be warmed up by anyone. The question is whether she can make a tiny crack in the ice around his heart or will this finally be the man to break Eva’s deeply ingrained belief in her happily ever after.

It’s sweet, savoury and quite delicious in places. Everything you would expect from a story by Sarah Morgan. Exactly the right kind of story in time for Christmas.
*Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my copy of Miracle on 5th Avenue.*

Miracle on 5th Avenue by Sarah Morgan was in one word FAB. I loved it and struggled to put it down, it's the third book in the series but even if you've not read the other two still read this you won't be lost or disappointed.
It's nearly Christmas and Eva is on a mission through her job Urban Genie to redecorate for Christmas and cook for the famous author Lucas. But things aren't always as they seem or go to plan.
A great read getting me ready for the Christmas spirit, you will love it.

Oh this was such a wonderful, lovely book! Sarah Morgan is one of my favourite authors and I have been waiting for Eva and Lucas's story since the last book in this series. I've actually had this book a few weeks and have been trying to hold onto it as once it was read I'd have to wait until Sarah's next book - but I just had to give in and read it!

This is a lovely Christmas read, starting in the middle of a major blizzard in New York, with Eva (co-owner of Urban Genie who do event planning and concierge services) staying at Lucas's apartment to decorate it for Christmas and fill his freezer with home-cooked food, organised by his grandmother. Of course as it turned out Lucas was actually staying there, and not in Vermont as he was supposed to be, but he just didn't want anyone to know.

Then along came Eva, a whirlwind of activity and compassion, with the habit of saying anything that popped into her mind, to completely throw his life into wonderful disarray - and without her initially knowing about it, kicking him out of his writer's slump. As the snowstorm had hit the city Eva didn't really have any other choice than to stay at Lucas's apartment. I loved Eva, such a beautiful personality, always looking for the good in people, as opposed to Lucas's cynical view on the world. Lucas had lost his wife 3 years ago and was still struggling to cope, and Eva had lost her grandmother a couple of years ago and was still really missing her, especially at this time of the year.

I just love the dialogue in all Sarah Morgan's books, her characters are so witty, sparky and feisty, and there is always amusing banter, along with quite emotional parts - I did shed a few tears too.

Although I loved the other two books in this series this one was my favourite, possibly because it was set around Christmas, my favourite time of the year. It was a wonderful feel-good, snuggled in front of a roaring fire, Christmas music playing softly in the background sort of book that just made me so happy. Absolutely loved it!

I was sent this book by the publisher and having read the first two in this series I couldn't wait to start this one!

Miracle on 5th Avenue takes us back to Manhattan and the lives of the girls who run Urban Genie, this story follows Eva who is a hopeless romantic and believes every ending should be a happy ever after.

She has been given a contract by one of their clients, Mary Blade, to go to her grandsons apartment, the famous author Lucas Blade, and decorate it for Christmas while he is in Vermont holed up in a cabin writing his next gruesome horror story, except he's not.......

This latest story is just as beautifully written as the first two in the series and is jam packed full of emotion which had me smiling at my kindle one minute and crying over it in the next. Will Eva get the happy ever after that she craves so much, you'll have to read it for yourself to find out.

I loved this story and would like to thank Harlequin UK for the invitation to read it, I will post my review on Goodreads now and Amazon & Twitter on publication day.

Ding ding ding!! Sarah Morgan's Christmas book boyfriend has arrived - her annual present to us all! Happy release day! A massive thank you to MIRA for the review copy of this title. I always look forward to a new book from Sarah Morgan and this is the third, highly anticipated book in her From Manhattan With Love series which is now a 6 book series! The first book, Paige's story, introduced readers to the three best friends Paige, Frankie and Eva. Frankie is the star of the second book and Eva comes into her own in book number 3 Miracle on 5th Avenue. Although I would definitely recommend you read each book in the series they can all be read stand alone.
So at this point, if you've read the first two books in this series, you will know Eva pretty well. She's a totally hopeless romantic, always striving to make everyone around her happy and find the goodness in everyone. She's a very compassionate and emotional character who wears her heart on her sleeve and isn't afraid to show how she feels about situations. She loves the family she's created for herself - Paige and Jake and Frankie and Matt. And she absolutely loves Christmas!
Lucas is the complete antithesis of Eva. He is anti-romance, anti-enjoyment, anti-family and anti-Christmas. As the story unfolds both Eva and the reader will come to understand why Lucas is as cynical as he is and how he has tried to cope with everything he's been through. Lucan and Eva find themselves duped into spending time together and when the New York winter hits hard they can't even escape one another. Their first meeting and circumstance in which they find themselves heighten the tension between the two characters right from the off - opposites do attract after all! They bounce off of one another and while Eva is in his home, she opens Lucas' eyes to what he is missing.
This is Sarah Morgan at her best. A beautiful winter romance with it's fair share of funny moments, chemistry and great characters. If you've never picked up one of Sarah's books before then what are you waiting for?! I can't recommend this series enough! Sarah has got to be one of the queens of book boyfriends for me and Luke is definitely in the hall of fame!

The From Manhattan with Love series focuses on three best friends as they struggle with love and career. I really loved the first two books so I was really looking forward to the third one and I wasn’t disappointed. This is the story of Eva and Lucas. Eva is looking for great love, but, while she waits for Price Charming to appear, she’d be happy to just use the condom wasting away in her bag before Christmas. Lucas is a world-famous crime writer who has been holed up in his apartment writing since the death of his wife, trying to avoid contact with the outside world. Suffering from writer’s block, he finds inspiration in Eva. Eva and Lucas are completely different characters: Eva loves fairy tales and happy endings and believes in true love. Lucas is pessimistic, thinks everyone has a dark side, and doesn’t believe he deserves love. But they are perfect for each other. I really love Eva’s character, she is idealistic and very outspoken (“I’m an audio book, because everything I’m thinking comes out of my mouth”) with an optimist view of life and love. The magic atmosphere of Christmas in New York and Eva’s delicious dishes are the perfect setting for another brilliant, sassy, and funny read that I couldn’t put down.

I cannot tell you how eager I have been to read Eva's story since I was approved a NetGalley copy - Thank you Cara! - however I purposely put off reading until I knew I had a completely free day to delve in and delve in is what I did.
As with Paige's story in Sleepless in Manhattan and Frankie's in Sunset Over Central Park, I completely devoured Miracle on 5th Avenue in one sitting - who needs to eat or drink anyway, right?!

From Manhattan With Love is the first books I have read from Sarah Morgan, to say she's now a firm favourite author would be an understatement - although I'm not sure I will ever catch up with her back catalogue ;-)

As I said, I was very much looking forward to reading Miracle on 5th Avenue but knowing the little about Eva we did from the first two books, I was a little apprehensive that the book would be a little too romantic - you know how you really fancy an indulgent hot chocolate and then after realise you shouldn't have had the marshmallows and cream? I guess I was a little concerned that the novel would be too over indulgent on Eva's hopeless romantic side and happy ever after as sometimes you can have a too much of a good thing....

I was completely wrong!

Miracle on 5th Avenue was completely different to Sleepless in Manhattan and Sunset Over Central Park, in the fact that it featured Eva and Lucas and very little of the other characters, although there where references to Paige and Frankie, and their company Urban Genie - which is doing fabulously!

Eva has been hired by one of the companies regular clients, Mitzy, with the task to decorate her grandson's 5th Ave apartment for the holiday season and to stock pile his freezer, whilst he is away in Vermont writing his next crime novel.

Only Lucas isn't in Vermont.
He's hiding out in his apartment and isn't overly impressed with Eva's arrival.

Despite Eva's love for sunshine, happiness, good food and unicorns, I felt she really came into her own in this book. She had a fiesty side which I wasn't expecting - telling Lucas exactly how it is and not beating around the bush!
This side of Eva intrigues Lucas and suddenly he starts to have an idea about characters and plots for his new crime book - one in which he is supposed to have completed in time for Christmas yet has nothing penned to paper.

I'm not really a crime book fan but having the odd reference to murder and blood to tie in with Lucas' occupation, really worked well and gave a great balance to the story.

As the book progresses, Eva starts to open up about how the loss of her Grandmother has effected her, Lucas has an equally sad story to tell and its clear that they both bring out the best in each other.

Miracle on 5th Avenue is full of wonderful dialogue containing lots of raw and honest emotion and banter - the sexual tension between these two literally oozed off the pages!
The book wasn't all smelling of roses - there's lots of moments when the pair are against each other, particularly when they start to get close but Lucas backs away refusing to love again - even towards the end as the last few pages were turned, I had to question whether Eva would get the happy outcome we all know she craves and deserves.

Miracle on 5th Avenue is a delightful story about falling in love and taking chances, and even though Paige and Frankie play a small part in this book, the fundamental statement of good friendship shines through when it's needed.

I've loved discovering Sarah Morgan with this From Manhattan With Love series, and am over the moon to discover that Sarah is writing a further three books set here - I do hope though that this gorgeous trio of character friends aren't forgotten and make some cameos as I feel there's much more to their stories.

So until February this year, I had yet to read any of Sarah Morgan’s book, plenty of them sitting on my kindle, but while I was working my way round to them, Sarah’s ‘Manhattan in Love’ series captured my attention, if you know me there will be no surprise as to why that is. Anyway, ever since I read ‘Sleepless In Manhattan’ I am a fully fledged Sarah Morgan fan. The cover in this book is as absolutely stunning, the colours are gorgeous and the Christmassy, twinklyness of it is just beautiful. The series has just got better and better. I really enjoyed the first two books, don’t get me wrong, but Sarah has definitely saved the best for last. Throughout the last two books, Eva has been my favourite of the three girls, so I guess it was inevitable that I would feel this way.

The absolute best thing about this book was the New York setting, and how Sarah captures the atmosphere, essence and spirit of New York in all of these three books. It provokes memories of times I’ve visited the city. Many authors write about New York, and lots do it well, but Sarah in this book has captured it the best that I remember. I would love to read some books of hers set in LA or real life places I haven’t been to, as I am sure she would do an equally good job there.

While I said the setting was the best thing in the book, but naturally her characterisation is also fantastic. Basically everything is polished and pretty much perfection in 352 pages.

Eva is a romantic at heart, and I completely connected with her from the first book, so couldn’t wait for a whole Eva focused book. She’s actually shows quite a feisty side to her at times, which made me smile. She clearly cares for people, and wants to make them happy, even though she’s hurting inside at the loss of her gran. I simply am a bit in love with Eva.

Lucas has a lot of mystery to him, and that makes him the perfect lead. He’s also very gruff and can come across as rude and stand-offish, but the sneak peeks you get at the ‘real’ him keep you holding out hope. Infact this book was almost like a Beauty and the Beast re-telling, but more like Beauty and the Stunningly-Gorgeous-Author.

If I had to sum up this review in three words? Buy it NOW!

I would like to thank netgalley and harlequin uk for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I don't usually read chic lit but I was lucky to have this offered to me and am I glad I read this.
Yes it's pretty obvious it's going to be a happy ending but getting there is a great read. Eva is one third of the company she and her friends have set up called urban genie. Through this she is asked to decorate an apartment for Christmas and cook and stock up the freezer, she has been reliably informed that the apartment is empty. The apartment is not empty and here Eva meets Lucas a writer hiding away from everything and here the story starts. Thus book had two fab leading characters but also great minor characters like Albert the door man who seemed lovely.
Lucas is how a leading man should be as he was troubled, rough around the edges and at times a dark character but with a deeply caring side as well.
This book had good pace and I couldn't read it fast enough, I haven't read any in the series before this so can definately be read as a standalone. Story telling at its best!
