Description
There’s danger at every turn…
Dannehar and Oskin played their parts during the Civil War.
They established remarkable reputations as peace officers in the wild days of untamed towns and cattle feuds that followed the war.
With horse thiefs, outlaws, liquor peddlers and crooks everywhere these men look, the upkeep of their reputations is at the back of their minds, and they are swung back into the action of the good old days.
But are these outlaws the least of their problems?
A new kind of criminal seem to be gathering in the Indian Nations where a new menace has raised its head.
They are set on using oil to overtake the cattle industry by any means possible, but who will be able to stop them?
Having gone their separate ways in the past, the two men are pulled back together through fate, friendship and a promise forged during the Civil War.
This promise takes them on a journey out of Texas and into the country beyond the Red River – Cherokee territory.

But can Dannehar and Oskin help Abel or will they be too late?
