Ave Maria Press was founded on May 1, 1865, and is one of the oldest, continually operating Catholic publishing houses in the country. Ave is a leader in publishing high school religion textbooks, ministry resources, and books on prayer and spirituality, Ave is also home to the Sorin Books, Forest of Peace, and Christian Classics imprints.
