This is a very short old fashioned romance. Kathryn and MIchael do yoeman's duty to save the estate from the evil Andrew. This could have easily been a longer novel and that would have allowed Spencer=Smith to flesh out her characters more. That said, it was a pleasant read. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

This was a nice light read set in the English countryside which always gets a thumbs up in my books.
The story line was easy to follow although i do wish the book was much longer and we could have got to know the characters better and heard more from them but even though the book is short i still managed to get involved with the story and connect with the characters and it did leave me with that nice feeling you get after reading a lovely romance book. I would certainly look for more books by this Author.
