Having read all of Jane Fallon’s previous books I was looking forward to reading Tell Me a Secret and it doesn’t disappoint.

Holly has just been promoted to her dream job but it appears that not everyone is happy for her. As mistakes begin to appear in Holly’s work - mistakes she knows she hasn’t made - she begins to wonder, what is going on? When inappropriate emails are sent out in her name, she needs to find out who is behind them as it seems someone is out to destroy her reputation.

An entertaining book with plenty of twists and turns, featuring a good central character which made for an enjoyable and easy read.

I love Jane Fallon books and have done since I read her first book many years ago! So I was very happy to get this one as a review copy so thank you Jane and Net Galley.

This one is particularly good as it focuses on rivalry at work and what people are prepared to do to get ahead even if it means ruining lives through lies, deceipt, breaking trust and friendships. Lots of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. The character develpment means you feel involved in their lives and want to know their story and reasons for their behaviour. Raced through it in a couple of days. It keeps you reading as you want to know how it going to pan out. Brilliantly written and thought out.

It's a must read in my opinion.

This is the second book I've read by Jane Fallon.. I enjoy her writing style. This book held from from page one and it had me guessing throughout it.
Set in the YV production world where everyone wants to progress.
Who is making things difficult for Holly? Who can she trust?
Will she lose everything if she can't prove herself?
A good easy read.

Thank you to Netgalley, Jane Fallon and Penguin Michael Joseph for my ARC of Tell Me a Secret.
Publication day: 10th January 2019
Holly finally feels like her life is finally getting to a place she wants it to be. She's got a promotion at work, her daughter is expecting her first child and she's about to advertise for a lodger. Plus she has her best work friend Roz to celebrate her new job with.
But it seems like Roz isn't as happy for Holly as she thought she would be. As time goes on and someone begins to sabotage Holly and her new job Holly doesn't know where to turn. And as she begins to to look closer at Roz's life everything isn't as it seems.

This is the second Jane Fallon book I've read and I really love her style of hidden manipulations and poisonous friends. The main protagonist was a great woman and someone you really empathised with. And I was definitely rooting for her!

I also liked that there was no romance element, it's refreshing to find a book in the genre of 'chic lit' that has a bit more to it than 'girl meets boy' and actually intrigued you with a good and interesting storyline that kept you turning the pages from start to finish!
I'm looking forward to reading more from Jane!

A book full of lively characters that is difficult to put down. Jane Fallon has taken office politics to another level with this highly entertaining story about Holly, newly promoted into a managerial position, and the mystery colleague who is trying to sabotage her career. Holly thinks she know who the culprit is but does she? It takes a lot of twists and turns with some dark moments and the help of her friends, Dee and Gavin, before Holly discovers the truth. The trouble is, will her boss believe her? As we live though Holly's nightmare., we get to know her daughter, her lodger and her two closest friends as well as the office crew. I was keeping this for a holiday read but opened it and just had to romp on through. Jane Fallon, through her characters, makes such witty observations on life and can tell a great story.

I read this in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down. Holly got the job, her work best friend Roz is delighted for her, so it must be Juliet who is causing ll the upset, after all, she never got the job, so shes definitely jealous. Or is she???? Some brilliant twists and turns, in this story of ‘friendship’.

A gossipy, compulsive story of female career rivalry, lies and deceit. The negative female stereotypes are balanced by female friendships, old and new. Knowing Fallon's previous books means some revelations are predictable - but the detail keeps us involved. Perfect switch-off reading.

The type of book to read in one sitting!

I’ve read all of Jane Fallon’s previous novels and really enjoy how and what she writes - the trials and tribulations of women, involving their families, partners, friends and work life. Her latest book was just as enjoyable, with a few twists and turns to keep the story moving and the reader guessing.

Would highly recommend.

I do love a good workplace mystery, and I thoroughly enjoyed Tell Me a Secret. Holly, a script editor on a popular TV soap, is overjoyed to have won the promotion she applied for. But it seems not everyone in her office is happy for her - in fact, someone is clearly out to sabotage Holly’s position by any means necessary, and she’s confident she knows who that person is. But of course, it’s not that straightforward...

I think I suspected everybody, at some point, of involvement in the campaign against Holly, from her best friend Dee to series producer Glen - and while it was obvious that certain people weren’t exactly on the level, all the twists and turns took a while to be revealed. Who’s out to get Holly, and equally to the point, what can she do about it?

The characterisation was great - I could really visualise and believe in all the characters both at work and out of it and I was rooting for Holly all the way though. A really enjoyable, escapist read.

Holly has been given her dream job but her work bestie, Roz, seems to be faking her happiness. Once things start to take a turn at work it would seem that Roz isn’t that happy at all but no one believes Holly about the mysterious things that keep happening. Throw in Holly’s new lodger and the fun holly has with her best friend, Dee, things could get messy! As always Jane’s books are a fabulous read with laugh out loud moments and lines you read and identify with completely.

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for this arc in exchange for my honest review.
