A good little workbook with helpful tips to help build confidence. I enjoyed many of the exercises the author gave.
I read this after reading A Guide to Happiness.
This is full of good tips and exercises to build your confidence - not sure if I've managed it though!
I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I keep a meditation journal so I can write down how I feel after my sessions and sometimes what I might have seen. This book helped me take a moment for myself a little more. It made me feel that the sessions were something more important and I need to keep doing them. It had helpful hints throughout the book that kept me going.
This book is full of easy tips and exercises to help build your confidence. These can be easily implemented into a daily routine and provides for the perfect accompaniment to A Guide to Happiness.
I was so happy to see “dealing with destructive thoughts” and “saying no” featured when talking about confidence. The meditations written out were helpful.
#BuildYourConfidence is a short read, but gives you guided meditations and small creative tasks to encourage you to immediately take action!
If you are someone who connects with meditation and are willing to explore their own minds, this book will help them to rediscover their core of confidence,
Thank you to #NetGalley and the publisher for my free advance copy in return for an unbiased review.
I've often struggled with feeling confident in situations whether they're personal or professional. It's something that I've been working on for a long time now and although I feel I've come far, there's always work to be done!
Tara Ward offers a great self-help guide for those who struggle with the same thing as I do, feeling confident in your space in the world.
You'll love this if you're looking for ways to boost your self-esteem!
This is a quick read at 37 pages but it is informative. I enjoyed going through the 7 steps to better confidence and the links provided as well. She goes into meditating, posture, and thoughts.
This is a really good practical guide with activities to help you to identify what makes you feel confident and how to channel that confidence effectively. The book is broken down into manageable sections allowing the reader to work through things gradually without being overwhelmed.
I was able to access one of the meditations online and found this really useful as I feel being able to sit back and listen to someone allows you to focus on the words and how they impact you, there is a transcript of the meditations in the book also. However after the first meditation, I couldn't find any more of them online and therefore had to read through the transcript. This for me was not as productive as I was paying more attention to reading than actually carrying out the activity.
If you are looking for a practical hands-on book, to help you to build your confidence then this would be a good one to try. It is easy to read with examples from the author of how the activities worked for her as well as a gentle no pressure attitude to how you choose to use the book. It is also the sort of book that you could continue to refer back to and use the activities as and when needed.

This book is like her other one (A GUide to Happiness). THere were some small exercises to do besides mediations, but it wasn’t enough. It felt like you could just boost your confidence in a day. That isn’t the case with most people. It takes sometimes years for them to see themself in a positive light. I wish it could happen overnight, but it isn’t. Maybe the physical book is better, but this is not the kind of personal growth book for me.

This review will appear on my blog on July 17,2020.
Some decent tips that can blend together to help you out and act as idea to merge into what you may already be doing. Some nice things that you could do are shown (meditation for example). Not a long read.
A nice simple mindful book. The exercises are small (perfect to fit into the day) and nicely illustrated. The tone of the book is encouraging and calming itself.
I thoroughly enjoyed the mindful excises in this book. This was a very quick read. Great job! I look forward to reading other books by Tara Ward. A Guide to Happiness was excellent as well.
A truly wonderful little book which is trying to help build your confidence.
Tara ward also wrote a book regarding finding happiness, and this is a lovely accompaniment book.
There are lovely positive helpful hints and I truly feel it will help look at life in a uplifting confident manner
This is second book by the author. Her first book about guide to hapiness was very impressive. This book also doesn't disappoint. It describes methods by which level of confidence in daily life can be enhanced.
Its methods appear helpful.
Like imagining a ballon of fear deflating in front of you and imagining an armour around you.
Similar methods are described.
A very interesting and helpful read.
Meditations described are very simple.
Cover of book is wonderful.
A very good book if like mindfulness and meditation.
This book features various mindfulness activities for boosting confidence. A lot of things I already knew but there were several new bits that were interesting and I will put into practice. Thanks to Netgalley the publisher for the advance copy.
I paired Tara Ward’s Build Your Confidence with her other book, A Guide to Happiness and I loved them both. Build Your Confidence was the perfect self-help guide for those struggling with confidence. This is a wonderful confirdence-booster for anyone! This guide helps readers find the courage to stand up for themselves and get out of a mental rut. The book also deals with the theme of knowing oneself, or finding the self, and being true to yourself. I loved coming across the helpful hints and thought they were easy to spot and contained fun little tips! The cover art is so cute and would be lovely on a shelf or coffee-table (especially paired with her other lovely titles!)
