Oh my goodness I absolutely loved this book. I read it in the back of a car on a trip to Cornwall. I couldn’t put it down. The characters and storyline were so exciting I didn’t want it to end. I will definitely be reading more of this series.
Thank you to Netgalley and Random House UK, Cornerstone for the opportunity to read an advance copy in return for my honest review.
As always with these Private books, James Patterson does not disappoint. I enjoy the local flavour James imparts to these novels intertwined with the mystery and intrigue. Recommended to all crime & mystery lovers.
A great installment in the Private series. It's part of a series but I feel it would work as a standalone. I love the author's ability to spin a gripping tale.

A great read. I do like this author. 4*.
Great thriller that kept me turning the pages. Great story, great writing and characters. Really enjoyable and would read this author again. Everything James Patterson touches is gold!!
This was a brilliant read and is being featured on my blog for my quick star reviews feature, which I have created on my blog so I can catch up with all the books I have read and therefore review.

I have in the past read books by both these authors in their own right and found that they make a great pairing in this book. It is the first book that I have read in this series, and I have been impressed. The action is synchronised perfection, with text that translates into live-action scenes in your mind and plays out in full. Every detail is brought to life, every sound, and it is fabulous.
You don’t have to wait long until what had been a day to remember turns into a day never to be forgotten, for all the wrong reasons. Everything feels off about the whole situation. It is such a fast-paced story that soon jumps over to Russia and yet another untimely death.
I was amused at the characters that were in Russia, as there were some very entertaining scenes. The action never dulls, and as the whole story comes together, it just knocks you for six. I would love to have read this series from the start, but it is a lot to catch up on. What I can say is that this book holds its own very well. It is brilliant.
I wish to thank the publisher and Net Galley for an e-copy of this book, which I have reviewed honestly.
Another Private series outing which dishes up pretty much what you would expect. It's generic James Patterson to be fair. It's fast paced, it's full of action and twists and turns along the road, all set in the backdrop of Moscow.
Enjoyable, value for money but could be better.
I love James Patterson books but before this, I had not read any of this series.
Even though this is book 15 in a series and although there are going to be plenty of backstory that I'm not aware of , I loved this book.
The book is full of the usual suspense and action that one expects from Patterson. There were quite a few times when suspending your belief is recommended, but on the whole a very enjoyable romp and a new series for me to go back to the beginning of to become more acquainted with the characters.
Another outing of the Private books. I have really been enjoying this series of books. The character of Jack Morgan is just brilliant.
I would say any James Patterson fans will enjoy this book and this series.
An entertaining and thrilling read.
A really thrilling roller coaster ride with Jack Morgan from the cold side of New York into the dark side of Moscow. The twists and turns kept me second guessing the connections between the murders until the very end. I didn't want to put the book down, it kept me turning the pages.
Clever, well written and compelling. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and another fab addition to the James Patterson collection
Unfortunately not my most enjoyed book from this writer and I normally enjoy his books - this is no reflection on his other books and maybe I was having bad week
I would still buy other books
Great read, with lots of twists and turns. An edge of the seat read, where you can't see how everything is going to be resolved, right up to the end. Definitely recommend
This is a fast paced action packed thriller.
Although far fetched I could not put it down.
It left me tired and breathless at the end.
Maybe I should read the previous books in the series.
Private Moscow
by James Patterson, Adam Hamdy
5 Stars
Book 15 of Patterson’s Private series.
Fast flowing, full of action
Plot flows well, story line teases the reader, with short chapters to keep the reader engaged. It reads like you are amongst the action and developing plot.
An invitation from an old friend draws Jack Morgan into a deadly conspiracy, as he witnessed the murder of his friends on the steps of the New York Stock Exchange. Jack sets out to find the killer and discovers a link to Russia. There he unearths a conspiracy that could have global consequences.
An easy read that draws the reader in.

This is another rollercoaster of a Private.
This story goes from New York to Moscow
With both teams trying to find the killer and why he is doing it before he strikes again.
Another great book in the Private Series.
Thanks NetGalley
Private Moscow is a change from the type of books usually read – an action packed, fast paced mystery thriller. Although it’s the 15th book in the series, I think it reads well as a standalone. The action never lets up as Jack Morgan, the head of Private, a detective agency with branches across the globe, sets out to hunt for the killer of his best friend and former marine, Karl Parker. Meanwhile in Moscow Dinara Orlova, an ex FSB agent in the Moscow office of Private and her colleague, Leonid Boykov an ex police detective, are investigating the murder of Yana Petrova, who was killed in an explosion at the Boston Seafood Grill. When it becomes apparent that the two cases are linked Jack flies to Moscow to join forces with Dinara and Leonid.
After a slow start, the pace picked up dramatically as the danger intensified and I was gripped right up to the final high octane ending. The short chapters emphasise the speed of the action. There spectacular car chases, with violent shoot outs, miraculous escapes and fight scenes, and intense danger throughout as intrigues, conspiracies, old secrets and deep-cover agents are revealed. It’s told through Jack’s perspective in the first person narrative alternating with the third person of the other characters. It’s far-fetched, but also entertaining, like watching a fast paced spy movie/thriller and although I have never been to New York or Moscow I had no difficulty in visualising the locations. Pure escapism!
My thanks to the publishers for a review copy via NetGalley.
