Who knew you could create an entire book around one fruit? This was an amazing find, especially since blueberries are one of my favorites.
I usually get stuck making the same dishes, like blueberry pie, pastries, and jam, but now I know so much more can be done with them!
This is a must-read if you're into cooking and baking or simply into blueberries!
What a lovely, perfect recipe book! (Disclaimer: I am a diehard blueberry lover.) Besides an amazing collection of varied recipes based on the perfect little blue fruit, the photographs accompanying all recipes are exquisite. Finally, author Graubart’s background information and anecdotes about some of the prize-winning recipes make the book a worthwhile addition to any cook’s library. See you in the kitchen!
Blueberry Love is packed full of easy to make blueberry recipes. I especially love that many of the recipes use frozen blueberries. I always seems to have a pile of those in the freezer. This cookbook gives me blueberry options for any time of the year.
I love everything about this book- the design, size, quality of recipes and the reliability of Graubert when it comes to thorough testing.
I have already made the dried blueberry and orange scones, a salsa made with the fruit and red onions (unusual and delicious) and the ginger-lime pie and they all worked 100% the first time and tasted great.
I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have always been a fan of blueberries. Mostly just eating then the way they come, but this book opened my eyes to different way to enjoy them. I would not have thought of some of these recipes. I have not tried any of them yet, but I am going too. That can only increase my enjoyment of the berry of blue.
I enjoyed this blueberry themed cookbook. It had a bunch of different recipes that I would want to try for my family.
I have nothing but love for Blueberry Love. Cynthia Graubert has created a beautiful book for people like me who can't get enough of blueberries. Sweet blueberries, savory blueberries, blueberries in salads and drinks and soups? Yes, please. This book made a baker out of me with they gorgeous-- and classic-- Blueberry Coffee Cake and Lemon & Dried Blueberry Scones. But it really shines with recipes like Pork Tenderloin with Blueberry Glaze. Well-written recipes, lovely pictures and lots of blueberry love. What a lovely summer treat. Perfect house gift!
I requested Blueberry Love because I love blueberries and it just made sense! I don’t care who you are, if you believe that blueberries are not the best fruit that has ever been grown, you’re out of your mind!
Blueberry Love started like most cookbooks, with a quick introduction and some notes on the best techniques for making the recipes in the book. However, unlike other cookbooks I’ve read, Blueberry Love didn’t spend chapters explaining that you might need a wooden spoon to stir your recipes! Which was extremely refreshing!
I can say, with all honesty, that Blueberry Love is the first cookbook I have ever read where there was not one recipe that I didn’t want to try! Everything looked so delicious! There was a big diversity in the types of recipes included, which ranged from drinks to soups to dinners. I’m particularly excited to try making the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, the Blueberry Butter and the Buttermilk Blueberry Soup.
I've had mixed luck with these single subject books, but this was a pretty good one. I realized I may not like blueberries as much as I thought or I'm at least a little unsure about putting them in savory dishes. I'm not sure I'll give those a go to be honest, but if someone wanted to make any of these for me, I'd happily taste them.
That being said, I'm excited to try some of the breakfast and dessert dishes! They have simple ingredients and easy to follow recipes. The photos in this cookbook are gorgeous and definitely had me hungry. Overall, a good read.
Thank you to NetGalley and Storey Publishing for providing me with an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.
A gorgeous cookbook featuring the hero of every summer: the blueberry. With stunning photographs of each recipe, cookbook and blueberry enthusiasts alike will want to rush to the market to purchase the off-season fruit rather than wait for the season to start. I’m looking forward to adding this book to my cookbook collection and trying my hand at everything from the buttermilk blueberry soup to the blueberry corn muffins. Rating 4 stars only because I haven’t yet made any of the recipes.
Ever since I first ate blueberry pie on a trip to Canada when I was 11, I have loved blueberries! This book is a must for anyone who loves blueberries. Filled with stunning photos and easy instructions, the recipes look delicious. I will probably try the easiest meat and fish ones first, though. The salmon one will be scrumptious, I think!
I received this free ebook from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
The author goes through a brief description of the history of blueberries in North America. There is also a helpful tip section, including how to pick, store, and use blueberries. This section is rounded out with useful ingredients and tools to have on hand.

Disclaimer: I was given an Advanced Reader's Copy by NetGalley and the publisher, Storey Publishing. The decision to review this cookbook was entirely my own.
A book full of unusual and unique recipes that made my mouth water. I just had to go out to buy some blueberriees so that I could try some of these recipes and they are lovely. I have never really enjoyed blueberries but now that I know just how good they are for me and my health I have taken to getting them each week.Great book
For those just looking for blueberry recipes, this is the book for you. Those looking for more details about which blueberries to choose, which flavours pair well together and more science move on. This is just a basic cookbook using blueberries, some recipes are interesting but it's nothing special. It does include a variety of recipes but it doesn't contain any information on why the recipes were chosen or how they pair well together. It's good for basics but not for knowledge.
This title caught my eye as I adore blueberries and we now live somewhere that has an abundance of them.
SO many neat recipe ideas in this book.
An absolute delicious book from beginning to end. There are so many recipes that appeal to me in this book, especially as I love blueberries. The recipes are easy to follow, pictures are colourful and definitely encourage me to get in the kitchen and start cooking up a storm.
This is a book I will definitely be purchasing.
Thanks to NetGalley and Storey Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.
Thank you to Netgalley and Story Publishing for the advance copy of Blueberry Love, by Cynthia Graubart . There are 48 recipes which are beautifully pictured, with clear & simple ingredients & preparation instructions. I love blueberries, so I was excited to try new recipes. However; I was disappointed that most of the recipes could easily be found online for free. This book is very basic, intended for a novice baker. I've been a home cook, have canned, pickled & made jellies & jams for over 40 yrs. The recipes were good, just not very original or inspirational to me. With all the food apps & online resources available I wouldn't buy this, I do own lots of real hardcopy cookbooks & love reading them.
As a house full of blueberry lovers can attest, this is a great cookbook to have on hand for those summer berries. So many great recipes from small bites to savory recipes to of course desserts. If you have a love for blueberries and are lucky enough to have an abundance of this fresh fruit, grab this cookbook. You won’t be sorry!
This recipe book offers a variety from old favorites to more adventurous. I plan to try more then a few. This would make a great addition to a bridal shower gift or for a new cook. Great pictures and clearly written. I requested and received a netGalley ARC to peruse gratis.
This is a great well organized, easy to follow cookbook for any blueberry lover. It's very specialized with one major ingredient. With 46 well illustrated recipes that range from deserts, jams and main dishes you'll find more than one favorite. I add blueberries to many deserts but was always wary of using for a main course but this book convinced me that they are very versatile. Along with the recipes there are tips for picking, freezing and handling of this yummy fruit. If you have a cook in the family that has a big collection of books, this may be a great gift. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.
