I’m not sure why, but this book seemed to go on forever. It’s taken me a week to read, and that’s a long time for me! I did guess the twist, but not until a chapter or so before it actually came out - up until that point I was back and forth between everyone.
I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide me review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
After reading Trust Me I definitely want to read more from T.M. Logan in the future this book had me shook.
I did not see the twists coming and I seriously couldn’t put this book down.
Imagine the desperation of a woman trusting another stranger woman with her baby, because she doesn't trust anyone, not even the police. This is how this thrilling novel starts off, and keeps you wondering about how far one will go to protect their children. Scary thought actually.
T. M. Logan is one of my all time favourite authors, I really enjoy his books and have read all of them. They are always gripping and full of many twists and turns.
I was delighted to be approved for a copy of Trust me, I really enjoyed this one! As a parent I could completely empathise with Ed in being protective over his daughter Abby when she brings home her new fiance to meet the family, Ed instantly feels there's something not right about Ryan, however his wife has been charmed and the rest of the family think he's great, is Ed just being over protective or is there something lurking under Ryan's perfect exterior?
This book kept me hooked until the end, I really enjoyed the unexpected twists and turns and as mentioned domestic thrillers always go down a treat with me.
I highly recommend this one, you won't be disappointed!
A big thank you to netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Trust Me T.M Logan
This book is a good read, and the storyline kept me turning the pages. This is my first book by this author, and I look forward to reading more.
Great plot to get yourself lost in. This book has everything. A real fast paced thriller. Will get your heart racing on more than one occasion. Very well written. Highly recommend this book
Heart-racing thriller with an absorbing premise, that packs an emotional punch!
All crime fiction fans know that T.M. Logan is the master of the fast-paced, up-all-night thriller and this has translated so well to audio with Trust Me. As soon as I pressed play on this one I didn’t want to stop listening! From the initial hook (a baby being left with a stranger on a train, with a concerning note) right through to the final revelation, this was a rip-roaring, rollercoaster of a read. I loved how multi-faceted the plot was, with Logan weaving in an abundance of red herrings and misdirection. Every time I thought I had worked out where the plot was going, something else happened or was revealed that shifted the plot in a new direction. It really is the definition of an edge of your seat read. Tension builds from multiple angles, there’s plenty of action, and there’s plenty of sustained terror to keep readers hooked. The cast of characters are really well envisaged and the interaction between them and the unraveling of the plot both build to a shocking and devastating climax.
As well as the pace and exceptional craftsmanship of the plot, I was really invested in Ellen’s journey throughout the course of the narrative. Her desperation to have a child is tangible and realistically drawn, meaning it leaps from the page. Similarly, the fact that motherhood has evaded her is a palpably grievous aspect of her narrative. Her intentions with Mia could go either way - does she try to claim her as her own, or does she do the right thing? Her desire to protect Mia is immediate and demonstrates the maternal instinct that is so clearly natural to Ellen. She’s a wonderfully likeable character, but she’s also so beautifully human. Her efforts to ensure Mia’s safety are redemptive for Ellen and I found her backstory and the truth into why she cared so much for saving the little girl absolutely fascinating. The humanity at the heart of this story really adds to the enjoyment of it and helps to make the intensity of the thrills all the more remarkable.
Narrator Emma Gregory is absolutely incredible, breathing life into each character and ensuring that their distinct personalities and voices are heard. I found it easy to follow who each character was, which was handy when there are a good number of them involved in the story! The chapters are relatively short, so it felt like I flew through this recording and Gregory really kept the pace and emotions hurtling along at a breakneck speed. I thoroughly enjoyed Trust Me as an audiobook and highly recommend it.
Thank you NetGalley and the publishers Bonnier for the ARC.
Having read all of TM Logan’s books, I have to say that I liked this one the least. As always the writing is excellent and is pacy however, I found the storyline weak. I did not believe Ellen could be so silly as to take on Mia.
Still worth reading - but not his best.
Another fantastic read from TM Logan!! I couldn't stop reading and finished it in just one evening. It's fast-paced and full of action. Great plot and characters and a good twist at the end.
I enjoyed Trust Me by T M Logan. It starts with Ellen, who is boarding a train, shortly into the journey a stranger asked her to hold her daughter Mia while she makes a phone call but she doesn’t return, all Ellen has to go on is a note telling her not to trust the police or anyone else. So what will Ellen do now? A great read which kept my interest. I loved this book and could not put it down.
I have read and loved all of TM Logan’s books and this one is no exception!
Full of twists, this book kept me gripped and guessing the from start to finish.
A fast paced psychological thriller that is very cleverly written.
I cannot wait for TM Logans next book. Definitely an auto buy author for me!
This was an intense fast paced story that had me hooked, confused and unable to stop reading. More of a who dun it than his previous books, this throw lots of red herrings and you and scared you.
Read if not living on your own.
Would you trust a complete stranger with your baby?
Whilst on a train journey home from a fertility clinic Ellen meets a young woman Kathryn, with her baby Mia in tow. She’s asked to hold her for a few moments whilst she takes an important phone call - turn leaves the train with a mouthed ‘sorry’ through the glass.
What unfolds is a face paced thriller with everyone a suspect. Who can she trust?
I’ve read two of TM Logan’s books previously and this one again met all my expectations.
This book features some strange characters, some you immediately trust and others you wouldn’t touch with a barge pole.
How you would react in the situation Ellen found herself in would depend on whether you’re a parent yourself, as that could dramatically affect your decisions. Saying that, Ellen was concerned for Mia with an almost motherly bond, so you hoped she would do what was best for the baby.
I won’t tell you what she did though as that would be telling. However this is a book that any thriller lover will devour. Do you trust me??
Loved this book. Tm Logan is amazing always gets you addicted from the opening paragraph. I would highly recommend this book.
It's been a a long wait for this latest offering from tm logan but it was definitely worth it! Really enjoyed his latest novel full of his usual suspense

Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
With all of t m Logan’s books, I quickly became gripped. The short chapters make the book so quick paced and so easy to race through
Up until half way through, I had absolutely no idea where this book was going and when Ellen visited the parents, I suddenly saw a huge red herring from the author
I was reading at speed, probably demonstrating the urgency to find Mia
My theory was half right.
I loved this book. It was fast paced, full of tension and is up to the high standard of the authors previous work
Really looking forward to his next novel
I read this book as part of a book club read a
TWO STRANGERS. A CHILD. AND A SPLIT SECOND CHOICE THAT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING.
The chance encounter
Ellen was just trying to help a stranger. Giving a few minutes respite to a flustered young mother sitting opposite her on the train. A few minutes holding her baby while the woman makes an urgent call.
Five minutes pass.
Ten.
The twist
As the train pulls into a station, Ellen is stunned to see the woman step off the train and rush away down the platform, leaving her baby behind.
Then she discovers a note in the baby's bag, three desperate lines scrawled hastily on a piece of paper:
Please protect Mia
Don't trust the police
Don't trust anyone
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
