Description
Trust Me is the gripping, irresistible new novel from the UK's most exciting thriller writer. It marks Logan's first publication in hardback.
Two strangers, a child, and a split second choice that will change everything . . .
Ellen was just trying to help a stranger. That was how it started: giving a few minutes respite to a flustered young mother sitting opposite her on the train. A few minutes holding her baby while the mother makes an urgent call. The weight of the child in her arms making Ellen's heart ache for what she can never have.
Five minutes pass.
Ten.
The train pulls into a station and Ellen is stunned to see the mother hurrying away down the platform, without looking back. Leaving her baby behind. Ellen is about to raise the alarm when she discovers a note in the baby's bag, three desperate lines scrawled hastily on a piece of paper:
Please protect Mia
Don't trust the police
Don't trust anyone
Why would a mother abandon her child to a stranger? Ellen is about to discover that the baby in her arms might hold the key to an unspeakable crime. And doing the right thing might just cost her everything . . .

wowowowowow you need to read this book! Trust me - TM Logan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When a women on the train asks Ellen to hold her baby (Mia) whilst she takes an urgent call, Ellen doesn’t expect to then watch the same women walking away from the train at the next station.
Then Ellen then finds a note: Please protect Mia. Don’t trust the police. Don’t trust anyone.
What should Ellen do next? Should Ellen put her life at risk to unravel the mystery of why Mia is danger?
I literally couldn’t put the book down. I read it in two sittings and it was a fight between not wanting it to end but needing to find out what happens next 😂
For the first half of the book I really wasn’t sure where it was going. Not in a bad way at all... but in a ‘I can’t predict the twist’ we all know happens in thrillers. I was blank. And that was so refreshing to read a totally unpredictable story line.
My favourite thing is when the clues have been sat under my nose the whole time.
TM Logan executed a smokescreen so perfectly to keep you guessing page after page. The web of mystery was weaved so well that it couldn’t be untangled and the reveal was oh so satisfying.
Thank you to the publishers @bonnierbooks_uk and @tmloganauthor for kindly sharing an advanced reader copy with me.
And all I can say is. PRE ORDER THE BOOK now. It releases on the 18th March 📚
I love TM Logan’s book’s. So I was surprised when I read the description of the story. What immediately sprang to mind was I’ve read a book like that recently . The book was ‘Woman on the Edge by Samantha M Bailey. Surely this couldn’t be the same.
Apart from a woman handing over a baby, these two books are definitely NOT the same. The author has created some brilliant characters. Along I thought I had my suspect and reason. Then something comes to light that gradually crumbles your decision. A great ending. This is another book I’d love to be made into a tv series.
Bravo Mr Logan.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this arc
I started this book yesterday, thought about it all night and finished it today. The first book to make me shriek out loud this year!
A new author for me, the book starts with Ellen travelling home on a train when a stranger asks her to hold her baby whilst she takes a call. When the train stops at the next station, the stranger exits the rain and mouths “sorry” to Ellen. Ellen is literally left holding the baby and a note that says, trust no one....
Plenty of twists and turns as well as cliff hanger moments and a story that makes you want to read on.
Thank you NetGalley!!!
Yet another great read from this author. The suspense, intrigue and heart pounding twists and turns all make for an edge of the seat read
Another fantastic book by this author. It had me gripped from the first page and I raced through it.
It’s the perfect thriller as it’s well written, pacy with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing.
It’s definitely a 5 star read.
An incredible read. So many angles to this story - it keeps you guessing all the way through. Sometimes this story is so unbelievable, it’s actually believable. All the coincidences and possible suspects keep you gripped. A super fast read, as you can’t put this book down.
