This is an easy to follow self-help workbook that can used on your own or in tandem with therapy. It allows you to gain a fuller picture of your life and put into perspective the perceived or experienced negative aspects of your life. This book may be useful for anyone, not just people who think they are experiencing an issue. It can help to evoke more positive emotions and increase happiness in your own life.

The Gratitude Explorers Workbook focuses on sitting with your emotions to find gratitude in the best and worst of times. It is a mindset that offers self-reflection and encourages honest emotions. It would be excellent to add into your daily mindfulness practice. While there are no truly original ideas within the book if you already have a mindful gratitude practice, the way that they have been joined together to build up your gratitude and resilience is really well done.

I reviewed a digital copy of the Gratitude Explorer workbook, and I enjoyed checking this out! Clearly it would be great to have a hard copy, as extras including gold star & affirmation stickers (for use with prompts), postcards, & bookmarks are offered. These sound like a cool bonus to the workbook!
There are 3 parts to the workbook: become present, seek perspective, & awaken possibility.
Beautiful, simple watercolor illustrations accompany the text. I am always on the lookout for ways to shift my attention and thoughts toward gratitude and living in the present, so I thought this workbook was really useful! I connected with the author’s language & the ideas presented. Truly, I feel this is such a beautiful book and such a useful tool to help me focus on the now. Not only that, but it also teaches me how to be present with a grateful mindset. If your heart is open to these ideas, I think you’d find a lot of good in this workbook. I need to get a physical copy when it is released! Thank you for the opportunity to check it out early via digital edition.

This powerful workbook is a great resource to reflect and identify the many things in life you may be overlooking. I'd suggest to buy a physical copy to get the most out of this book and to really help focus on what you are completing. This workbook is a great way to weave daily gratitude in your life, without the repetitive prompts often found in other gratitude books.

A perfect book for anyone wanting to practice both gratitude and mindfulness. The author writes in an easy-to-understand way that works perfectly for this book.

This gratitude workbook is really wonderful. I can't wait to buy it so I can look at it and work on the activities that are suggested. Will have to photocopy many of the pages since this would be a workbook to use all throughout the year. A great way to practice gratitude and pretty pages.

I requested this workbook because since last year I have been trying to figure out ways of being more present in my conversations and relationships as well as personally. Mindfulness practice has really helped me and my journey has been amazing.

If you are interested in starting a grateful journey this book is a great place to start. Whether you are looking to start a gratitude practice or add gratitude into your life this workbook is the right choice. You have quite a bit of space to take notes and journal along the read.

If you are just interested in the prompts great but if you want to go deeper there is room for that with the exercises. Room of the biggest smiles for me while reading was the chapter on go to bed grateful. This section allowed me to remember to sit with the Lord after my day ended and be grateful, talk my day out and remember what I was grateful for in that day.
I'm hoping I can remember all the nuggets Nelson shared in this workbook. Though some might believe they are simple the practice is challenging if you are not intentional about it.

This book was provided by the publisher in exchange for my thoughtful & honest review.

I got an ARC of this. It wasn't what I expected but I'm SO glad I did. Short list this book and grab the physical copy. It's not a read in a self-helpy sense but very much a workbook for ways to incorporate a gratitude practice into your life. I found myself highlighting almost everything and wishing it wasn't just on my kindle. This is perfect for anyone working on mindfulness and would also make a great gift.

Big thanks to the publisher and #NetGalley for the ARC.

I love this workbook!! I really wish I had received it in print format as I would like to use this daily from here on out. Simply brings focus and helps to bring your mind, body and soul into awareness of all that is encircling your life in a moment by moment guiding. Highly recommend!!!

I would love a physical copy of this book! It has pages which would make for a great Instagram post but more importantly, valuable self reflection. Something that sets this book out from others is that it feels more detailed and in depth. Some gratitude practices don't feel practical at all or I just end up noting the same few things I'm grateful for every single day
Looking forward to using these prompts in my own handwritten journal some more 😊

This was a very call and soothing workbook to foster gratitude and positive growth. Nothing particularly groundbreaking but it was presented in a very grounded and easy to comprehend way that promoted introspection and thoughtfulness. I think I would have enjoyed it better as an actual physical workbook compared to the ebook I read, I think I would gain more from the experience using it as an actual workbook to write in, and have access to the stickers, cards, and bookmarks. Even as an ebook, it provided some excellent prompts for journaling or self-reflection.

I enjoy the thought provoking thoughts and emphasis on gratitude and progress. At it's core, it's a simple, but powerful little work book that can fit into even the busiest of schedules. I enjoy the focus it brings me.

Kristi Nelson's The Gratitude Explorer's Workbook is a visually lovely workbook, filled with stylized inspirational quotes on watercolor backgrounds (including a section of removable stickers and notecards with more of these quotes at the end of the book), question prompts to guide the reader to fill in blanks on various topics, star stickers for when you do certain writing tasks, and chapters explaining different components to living an emotionally healthy and grateful life.

I have adopted a journaling practice for over a year, and am slowly layering new habits on top of that one - incorporating named gratitude thoughts, meditation and yoga, to name a few. I think there are a lot of people like me, who are trying to create positive emotional health practices into their daily and weekly lives that are sustainable. This workbook supports those efforts.

With that said, the workbook is a non-starter in digital form - you cannot write in it and the kindle version specifically had formatting issues that made it hard to read, and did not include the beautiful quotes on watercolor backgrounds (only the backgrounds). The PDF version (read on my laptop) did show the beautiful graphics, so that is what I used! Of course the digital book also did not include the removable stickers or cards with inspirational messages and quotes. So, this would need to be a book purchased in physical form for sure! OR, it would be awesome if the PDF version could be sold in some way that is not for Kindle, but for the laptop and let you electronically fill in the blanks online and print the inspirational quote cards at home - a different approach for sure, but very useful for many people!

The other concern I had is that the book is not set up to be an every day activity like most journals. It was really a cross between a journal and a 1-time workshop style workbook, where each section had a handful of blanks (with dates) to fill in, so maybe a week's worth of entries. I don't think most people will refer to a workbook for a week and then let it go, but it isn't really set up to be used daily. So, it would be best used by someone exploring each topic of the book for a week at a time and make it a 2-3 month activity to develop new practices. But then it really should be marketed that way - maybe as a 90-day exercise and more explanation in the book to that end.

3 stars because the book covers a relevant topic that many people are interested in, and it is really beautiful (in the PDF / physical versions). Thanks to #netgalley for allowing me to review #TheGratitudeExplorerWorkbook!!

This book was received as an ARC from Storey Publishing in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I loved the color scheme, mediations and exercises throughout this book. The book had a welcoming, bright feel every page you turn and every exercise you are introduced to. I also love the power of positive quotes and after each set of exercises, I love the chosen font and background colors to give that dreamscape experience that just takes you away and is very calming. I have been getting many inquiries on self help workbooks and I am happy to add another title to that recommendation list.

We will consider adding this title to our Self Help collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

Thank you to both #NetGalley and Storey Publishing, LLC for providing me an advance copy of Kristi Nelson’s spiritual guidebook, The Gratitude Explorer’s Workbook, in exchange for an honest review.

#TheGratitudeExplorerWorkbook is exactly what its title implies: a spiritual, self-help workbook. I would recommend reading this as a physical copy because it is more of workbook than anything else. There are short blurbs at the top of each journal page concerning topics, such as being present, mindfulness, and so forth, but you will need the physical copy to write in it and to use the stickers in the back of the book to track your progress.

Overall, while the prompts are newer, it is nothing readers have not seen before. If you are not willing to put in the work, then this book is not for you since there are no huge passages on how to mediate. If you are looking to stick to a habit and you enjoy answering journal prompts, then I would recommend it.

This is a beautiful book and definitely fulfills the brief of a workbook but that means it doesn't work as an ebook.
I have read through the exercises and have tried to write out a few but think it would be easier to stick to if I owned a hard copy. Will go and hunt one down now the shops are open!

I absolutely love this book! There is encouragement and a push to go deeper in gratitude and generosity and kindness and reflection. And the best part is that it is a workbook so it invites you to engage with it. It invites you to take stock of what you think, feel, and value.

This workbook was a great way to practice mindfulness and cultivate gratitude in everyday moments. It is full of prompts designed to make you pause and look within. The way it's structured makes it easy to incorporate into a daily practice, and it is very beginner friendly.

It offers a lot of opportunities to reframe your thinking, and take pleasure in the ordinary. It invites you to welcome and appreciate 'negative' emotions, and accept all feelings. Most notably, the workbook is designed to build gratitude not only in what surrounds you, but everything that is within you. It is a lovely book.

I really enjoyed this book.
Its almost as if it came to me in divine timing.

Its a quick and easy first read, but you have to go back to the exercises and tasks and dedicate time to the book and ultimately yourself.

If you already live in the principal of gratitude, this book will help you revisit things you may have forgotten.

Mindfulness means a lot to me and this book embraces it from its core.

I recommend this book it will help you cut away the nonsense in live and help you engage more with and from your higher self.

Definitely one to read and read again as a reminde from time to time.
