It archived before I could download but I just finished my copy from the library and was glad I finally was able to read it.
This is more than a heart-warming story, Iβd go as far as saying it had me over-heating.
Kiley Dunbar whisks readers off to the Frozen Falls resort in Finnish Lapland. I highly recommend this wonderfully upbeat tale of lovely characters.
I took a day out from Christmas preparations and binge read the whole book. Delightful!
After that I listened the audio book which was so good too!
After this beautiful love story I was dreaming of visiting Lapland and spending a few nights in a cabin just like Sylvie stayed in so I asked may boyfriend if we could nip to Laplandβ¦.. in his perfect comedian response he told me the best he could do this week was a trip to Iceland as we still needed some Christmas food! π

Christmas at Frozen Falls by Kiley Dunbar is a good fit for readers looking for a heartwarming story about finding love and healing after a heartbreak, set in the beautiful and magical landscape of Lapland during the holiday season.
This book gave me all the warm and fuzzy Christmas feelings! This took me way too long to read (sorry about that!), and I am so regretting that. This reminded me of a Hallmark movie and those are the perfect books that I am looking for this time of year.
A delicious, heartfelt Christmas romance that I plan to revisit this season. It made smile, warm and fuzzy, and jolly cheer.
When else would you read a story about Christmas and winter other than a hot day?! #ChristmasatFrozenFalls by #KileyDunbar has been sitting waiting on me opening for 2 years. Iβm so sorry! Why a lovely easy breezy #chicklit #romcom I definitely missed out on this beauty! Many thanks to #Netgalley for gifting me an advance audiobook in exchange for an honest review
I adored this book as I do all books from Kiley. Always a lovely plot with complex characters and I find I want to read them in one sitting. This was no exception and I especially enjoyed the setting which made me want to dive in there myself.
Cute Fun Xmas romance. It was fun and witty and the characters were great. Really Liked this one. Be a great Hallmark movie.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year therefore I love to read Christmas books. This book did not disappoint. I look forward to reading more of her Books.
This was my first audiobook from Netgalley and so I have to mention the narrator and the accents - please donβt! Whilst I initially found them highly amusing, they gradually become more and more annoying. It would have been easier to listen to if the narrator hadnβt bothered trying.
Then there is our main character, Sylvie, who appears to be a walk-over her entire life and who, it appears, needs a man in her life to function (I never like a female lead character to be like that).
None of the characters seemed to talk to each other and so many assumptions were made when a simple conversation would have stopped any misunderstanding and I found this very frustrating as so many stupid assumptions were made by different characters.
Definitely not my favourite book of the Christmas season.
Thank you to the publisher and to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

βπΌπππΌπ: I started this book a long while ago, left it because I was in a slump, and restarted it a few days ago. That's probably the only time I was glad I restarted a book from the very beginning.
It was the perfect timing to listen to it to lift my spirits up with all its festivities and warmness and get into the Christmas mood.
I absolutely enjoyed listening to the book, and I loved the Narrator and her changing the accents.
Thank you @netgalley and the publishers for this Audio ARC in exchange for an honest reviewπ

I wasnβt actually able to listen to this as it didnβt download to my NetGalley app. Iβm sure it was fluffy, delightful, and everything I needed from a holiday read. Giving 5 stars due to my error and I will buy a physical copy and post on my Instagram.
I have noticed quite a few Christmas romance books being set in Lapland lately and I guess I can't blame the authors because from what I have read about the region it sounds a lot like a white Christmasy, frozen wonderland with the Northern Lights being the showstopper. I would love to experience the Northern Lights myself in the flesh someday! So it is easy to say the best part of this Christmasy, second chance romance was the experience that the author managed to give the readers of everything that is good and magical about the place.
The narration by Helen Duff was just average. I don't know what a Finnish accent actually sounds like so I can't say if she got it right or not. There were times, especially at the beginning, when I found her accents for the male protagonists a bit irritating and it distracted me from the story. In hindsight, I think I would have preferred reading the printed version of the book.
The cover picture is absolutely beautiful π!
I received an audio Arc of the book from theΒ audiobook publisher Saga Egmont and the author Kiley Dunbar via NetGalley.

Lovely feel good book to read. It was a joy to read. Lovely characters. Great plot. The book was charming. Very well written. Iβd definitely recommend this book. Idyllic location that set the tone of the book to perfection. Perfect seasonal book to get you in the mood for the festive season.
I really enjoy a good holiday romance read and the experience of reading this one was like being whisked away into a dream. This is a very cute second chance Christmas romance that will definitely get you into the holiday spirit if you aren't already. I might have read this one out of season, but it totally didn't matter to me because it is just one of those books that leaves a smile on your face the whole time you're reading it.
I loved the scenery, and the side characters, but didn't connect with the MC. Sylvie felt more like a young teenager than an adult. Immature, unreasonable and unrealistic. I just really didn't connect with her, but boy would I love to go lose myself in the scenery. Nari was a delight and there were cutie Husky puppies, and I'm a sucker for a dog in a book.

This was a very nice story, but I'm afraid that's all it was. I picked it up thinking it would be a cute Christmas romance, and it had some aspects of it, but it was also very slow and kind of unballanced. My favorite characters here were the protagonists' best friends, which went through the most development throughout the book, and had the cutest story.
Maybe it was the intent, with the whole thing being set in a "foreign land" and all, but I felt like the main character sometimes idealized so much of what she was living and of her love interest just because she was in another country. I spent the entire book hoping for the moment when she would snap out of it and start seeing the guy she was in love with as a complex person, but she just kept wishing for things to be as they were years and years before, never considering that people change (and for the better).
It was overall a cute story, of those you know are going to keep you in a good mood, especially with the descriptions and how the author did her research on the local culture, but it didn't go much beyond. Maybe if I had the right expectations it would've worked better. As for the audiobook, the accents issue kind of bothered me in the first half of it, but then I got used to it and it was nice for keeping the narrative voice from the spoken voices, so it worked and got me into the story.
I found myself zoning out a lot while listening to this sadly. Iβm not sure if it was the storyline or the lady reading but it really didnβt grab my attention.
This audiobook was so sweet! The narrator did and excellent job, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening. I will be looking to purchase this book come Christmastime. :)
