Sylvie Magnusson returns to visit Lapland after she is dumped before wedding. And she is not alone, also her best friend Nari wants to see the Northern Lights. Well in Frozen land there is someone else, an ex boyfriend. And what will she discover?
I loved the scene of the book. I would love to visit if for real. And I would take a Husky to. Maybe I could also live by some lake. I did not like the story of Nari so much.. but the most important is White Chrismas.

I’m a sucker for a cute holiday rom-com and happily I’ve found another cute one! Not too much cheese and just enough fun to keep it light, this was a quick story that I finished in one sitting/listening.
Sylvie is heartbroken when her fiancé calls off the wedding right before they were set to walk down the aisle after being engaged for 10 years. Her parents had paid for a luxurious honeymoon for them and rather than let it go to waste, Sylvie and her BFF,Nari, who is a travel blogger, decide to swap it out for a dream trip to Finland which sounds heavenly being Christmas time and all-perfect for seeing the northern lights. But there’s also another draw to that location, her first love, Stellan lives there. She met him at Uni on a foreign exchange program but it ended abruptly and she never knew why. She decides to look him up and see if the feelings are still there and try to find out what happened but she gets more than she could ask for when she finds him.
Cute and cozy, this is a perfect read with a cup of tea and a cozy blanket this fall.
My only complaint, if you can even call it that, was that I didn’t love the narrators’ Finland accent when she did Stellan’s parts. Not that it was totally awful or anything like that, it just kind of took me out of the story for a few every time. It was still an enjoyable listen and a nice way to spend the morning.
Thanks to Hera Books and Netgalley for this audiobook arc in exchange for my review.
