This books was very cute and reminds me of the ‘Nobody likes…” series. A cat begins listing all the reasons he doesn’t like Christmas, but by the end shares that he loves Christmas. There’s also a search and find on each page (a mouse and a ball of yarn). The illustrations are cute, I feel a lot of young children would love this book.

I like cats and this seemed like a cute concept but reading it was a struggle.. I don't know if the formatting was off or what but it seemed like words were missing, both entirely and sometimes individual letters. It was hard to form the entirety of the story in my head when I couldn't follow it and when it didn't quite make sense.

Even though Christmas has passed, it is always fun to still read Christmas picture books no matter what time of the year it is as Christmas is fun and something to celebrate. It is a holiday that hopefully makes everyone happy. This fun book Cats Don't Like Christmas shares with us all the reasons why Christmas is no fun for Cats as all that temptation of baubles and the trees and hanging stockings and paper gets them into trouble and causes them to be mischievous creatures and then they get told off. Cats also unlike dogs, don't always appreciate the human touch, and Christmas time with relatives is a people overload for them. In this fun picture book, we read all the reasons why cats hate Christmas, but do you think we can sway the Cats' minds to love Christmas and the Holiday season? This fun picture book written by Andy Wortlock and illustrated by Nahum Ziersch is perfect for children aged 3-6 years and one that I would have read at Toddler Time when I worked in the library as it is quick enough to read and fun enough to hold the children's attention and entertaining enough that they won't get bored and fidgety.

A fun, colorful rhyming story told from the viewpoint of the house cat. Hidden figures in images make for interactive fun even for little children. Perfect for read-aloud. A cute addition to your personal library for the bookend months of the year.

The illustrations were great! And at the end you find out there's a mouse and yarn on every page to find! So you'll read it again to find the mouse and yarn but you'll also read it again and again just because it is so fun and cute!

The poetry of the story rolls of the tongue and begs to be read aloud. The bright illustrations by Nahum Ziersch are colourful and bright and capture the whimsy of the story perfectly.
This isn't just a kids' Christmas book. It is sure to delight readers of all ages, year after year, and become a family tradition.
If you have kids and cats, or ever had, you need this book.

I read this book with my 7 year old daughter. She loved it! She said the best part of the book was the illustrations. The pictures are beautiful and eye catching. Finding the mouse and yarn on each page was a bonus.

This was a quick and fun read about a cat who really doesn’t like Christmas. The cat tells us exactly what he doesn’t like about Christmas, like the shine balls and the sticky tape. I enjoyed this immensely and with it almost being Christmas it was perfect timing.
While being perfect for children, I would say that adults would probably enjoy this as well. The illustrations were in great detail and the story was told in a sort of sing song style. A fun plus for children is the mouse who is hidden in all the pages.

Recommend for everyone in Christmas spirit.

This is the perfect little Christmas story about a grumpy cat who is a bit of a Scrooge. The illustrations are bright and colorful, and the story is very funny.

This is a funny children's Christmas book about a cat who (it seems) doesn't like Christmas, because all of the things that come into the house during Christmas time can be very annoying and intrusive. However, maybe the cat really does like Christmas after all?

The book has nice graphics, and rhyming text, which children will love. It also has a hidden mouse on each page, which my daughter enjoyed finding. We both enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Cats Don't Like Christmas is and adorable look at Christmas and all its trimmings through the eyes of a cat. Since we have four cats, it was very familiar! This fun picture book is perfect for cat owners. We all know a cat loves any type of Christmas tree. The illustrations are bright and my kids loved finding the hidden mouse and yarn on each page.

"Cats Don't Like Christmas!" goes through the usual Christmas activities of putting up a Christmas tree, hanging stockings, and decorating. However, the family cat is annoyed that things have changed in his house. The funny tale of the cat during the Christmas season will bring a smile. Recommended for ages 4-10

Adorable book about what cats must experience during Christmas. As a cat owner and lover, I chuckled at the cat's escapades and confusion about all the holiday cheer.

This was such a cute book but let's be honest as a cat owner I know cats LOVE Christmas! They literally have more entertainment inside the house and get into so much more trouble than any other holiday. This book totally shows how spoiled kitties can be during the holidays!

This was really fun. The book lists in a singsong rhyming pattern the reason cats don’t like trees. They even ask for forgiveness for climbing Christmas trees but remind you - YOU want it inside. This would be a book that I would bring out every holiday because it’s fun, it’s festive, and it really makes me think about my animals and what they make of the Christmas craziness.
