I enjoyed this book, set in the snowy Whistler, it is a enjoyable winter romantic read. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the e-arc.
This was a fun read that had some serious issues that in the upper class world may have been too entrenched with for too long. I liked how the author tackled this to help youngsters who may be going to their first ski season to understand it is not right.
A really easy, enjoyable, wintry, romance read. The characters are mostly likeable, the setting beautiful and of course we all want the best for those who have previously been unlucky in love. Thanks to netgalley, the publisher and author for me arc
Very cute and such an easy read. Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review this title.
This was a surprising Christmas read. It had more depth than I expected. The characters were well written and it was a touching story with real life problems.
I really enjoyed this book and the slow building romance between Jen and Art. Amazing setting in Whistler which made me really want to go away skiing. Good read
ARC-gifted.
I enjoyed this - good character development and a whimsical Christmas romcom about overcoming past baggage through finding yourself and a new relationship. Enjoyable, quick read. 3.5 stars, rounded to 4.
A really enjoyable winter read. I loved the setting of Whistler, and I also loved the fact that Jen got stuck in making a new life for herself. Definitely recommended.
This is a good book. I enjoyed the flow of the story, it had well rounded robust characters, a good dose of fun and romance and is a all round general good read.
simple and easy read for the winter time.
wanted a winter book which isn’t around the christmasy feeling and this book just gave me a good vibe about the cold whether. winter isn’t about just a christmas and the new year and this book showed us how can you appreciate the cold and the snow without any holiday song.
enjoyed it.
I enjoyed the setting of this book, however I found the storyline was too slow-paced for me and I struggled to read it at times. I did finish it and liked it, but it was to slow.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC.
I really liked this book, it was the perfect cosy and comfy, warm and fuzzy Christmas read. It was written really well and I loved the characters.
This was a brilliant story that I really enjoyed. I loved how it was set in Canada and had plenty of fun in the snow. I especially loved the characters, especially those we love to hate, like edwardo. It was very interesting reading about the demanding visitors to the hotel. I was laughing at some of the things they requested. I loved how it was a slow burning romance. It was fun trying to work out if the romance would happen at all. The book was very well written, and it kept my attention throughout. It was a really good page turning novel that I just couldn't put down. I had to finish it in one sitting. I love how wonderful and wintery it was. I actually wished I could visit there myself now. I certainly recommend reading this book, especially if you love the snow and snowboarding.
So much praise goes out to the author and publishers for creating this wonderful story that was so close to getting full marks. I will definitely be looking out for more books by this fantastic author.

I love an enemies to lovers romance and this one did not disappoint! I loved Jen and Art and the development of their relationship as well as the development of their own individual characters. Watching Jen coming to terms with who she is as a person and putting herself first was so enjoyable to read and I loved going on that journey wit her. I also loved how Art’s journey was depicted and watching him come out of his shell more and more and becoming more open with those around him after everything that he had been through.
The background of Whistler and all of the details that were added helped make this book and provided a lot of entertainment; it even made me want to visit Whistler!
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading more of this author!
SPOILER ALERT. I have mixed feelings about this book! I found the pacing of the plot a little slow in the first half of the book and then slightly rushed at the end. I liked both Jen and Art as characters but I found myself getting frustrated with them as it took SO long for their relationship to progress and move forwards. The pact that Jen made with her friend at the beginning was referred to a lot but this annoyed me after a while too as I just wanted a bit of romance - I’m a sucker for a happy ending! The story ended how I hoped it would but I just felt there was a little something missing for me personally.
A love story set in Canada after Jen gets her Visa to go to Whistler and teach snowboarding,
A cute story I enjoyed, i liked the setting and the story however it was slow paced.
I wish I had enjoyed this book more, but it was too slow paced and didn't hold my attention the way that I like my holiday reads to. It is a pity as I'm a sucker for Christmas themed love stories, but this one just wasn't it.
Sadly this book was simply too slow for me.
I was looking forward to racing through this book over the festive break but I kept putting it down and struggling to find the motivation to pick it back up again.
Then after how slow it was, the ending ended up feeling too rushed. So pacing was a problem for me with this.
It's definitely more of a winter book than a Christmas one also, just in case you go into it expecting it to give you the Christmassy feels.
I would have liked a bit more from our two main characters too. I liked them but didn't fall in love with them.
It's a nice book, that some others may enjoy much more than me. But it could have been more and I also read other festive/wintery books that I preferred this year.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Not a setting I have any experience of, so the snowboarding elements did not grab me, but I liked the slow burn love story, the flawed hero, and the heroine who finds her true self. And who could fail to flinch at the awful Eduardo and be willing him to get his comeuppance? An easy read, with the right ending.
Unfortunately, I found this book rather slow. It took far too long for anything to happen, and the writing was really slow paced and dragged. There was sadly nothing to keep me engaged with this story
