Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
This was a sweet story about the importance of family that fans of Caillou will enjoy.
The artwork is bright and vibrant and in step with the animation of the show.
Story was a tad long in my opinion for the target age group
The story was easy enough to follow for those kids unfamiliar with the Caillou franchise.
Overall a short sweet that could have benefitted from a little editing.

This book was so adorable, I loved everything about it, the illustrations were so well done, they suited the book perfectly, the story was amazing as well, even thought is very short I could really connect with the characters and feel theirs struggles.
I’m sure the kids are going to be just as enthralled with this amazing book as I was.
I will definitely recommend!
Thank you netgalley and the publisher for this early copy

This book was absolutely adorable!! My 4 YO was so engrossed into the story, while my 2 YO seemed to love all of the colorful pictures and graphics.
The graphics and use of colorful colors in this book really made this book stand out - definitely good for younger children to grab their attention!

This was such an adorable book from the illustrations to the story itself. I absolutely love the message behind this book and I know that my 2 year old will enjoy it as well!

Caillou: The Silver Knight, adapted by Robin Bright and illustrated by Lauren Adams, Rebecca Galloway, Michelle McIver, and Tony Mitchell, is a heartwarming children's book that emphasizes the importance of family ties. The book follows Caillou, a young boy who is disappointed when none of his friends are able to come over and play. To cheer him up, his father tells him the story of a great knight who protects his kingdom from a terrible dragon with the help of his family.
The story is beautifully illustrated, with bright and colorful pictures that capture the attention of young readers. The characters are well-drawn, and their expressions convey the emotions of the story perfectly. The text is also well-written, with simple language that is easy for young readers to understand.
What sets Caillou: The Silver Knight apart from other children's books is its emphasis on the importance of family. The story shows how families can be a person's best friends and allies, and how they can come together to overcome even the biggest challenges. This message is particularly important in today's world, where many families are facing difficult times and need to rely on each other more than ever.
Overall, Caillou: The Silver Knight is a wonderful children's book that is sure to become a favorite of young readers and their families. It is a heartwarming story with a valuable message that will resonate with children and adults alike. The illustrations are beautiful, the text is well-written, and the message is important. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a great children's story that emphasizes the importance of family ties.

First time reading Caillou, a story book for children. The story is simple, about a boy named Caillou whose friend is not feeling well to play together, so he has no one to play with. But his dad told him this story of The Silver Knight. It is an easy read for children, and the dad reminds him of the moral of the story at the end. Quite good for bedtime read.

Caillou: The Silver Knight was cute and fun. My 3 and 5 year old boys have both watched the television show Caillou so they were excited for this book. In this one, Caillou's friend Sarah is sick and can't come over to play. When he's disappointed, his dad tells him a story about the Silver Knight. He learns a lesson through the story that he's not alone and always has his family. The illustration was excellent. This would be a great book for new readers.
Thank you to NetGalley and Chouette Publishing for allowing me to be an early reader. All opinions are my own.

In our house we love watching Caillou! I read this to my 5 year old daughter at bed time and she absolutely loved it. Such a good message that you don’t have to do things alone and you can count on others, especially your family, to help you overcome challenges!
Thank you NetGalley, the author and the publisher for my ARC!

I don't know about the show and I didn't know it was an adaptation before reading this. But I guess this is fun, even for the children who haven't watched the show yet.

This book is just like the TV show! It has a cute story. There is some figurative language that could be good for kids to notice.

My 3 year old and I really enjoyed Calliou: The Silver Knight. I’d much rather read Calliou than watch so this was really appreciated. The illustrations are great and detailed.

This is such a sweet book, my grandchildren loved Caillou on TV when they were a little younger and this is great for little ones with friendly relatable illustrations. Even the dragon is cute! The message is easily understandable and could generate discussion no matter the age of the listener or reader. My only bugbear is that they play checkers when in the UK it is more commonly known as draughts.
I was able to read an advanced copy of this book thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the opinions expressed are my own. I would happily add this book to my grandchildren's book collection. Recommended age up to 6 or 7 years.
