James Patterson never disappoints.
This is yet another brilliant instalment in the Women's Murder Club series. I have and will continue to highly recommend this series and all James Patterson novels to Crime/Mystery Thriller lovers.
4 out of 5 stars

#23rdMidnight #NetGalley I love this series and the characters of the four leading ladies and even though this is the 23rd book in this series, it is still fresh and interesting. Fast paced with lots of twists and turns that I didn't see coming, I raced through this book in just over a day. I hope James Patterson continues with this series for a long while yet! A well deserved 5 stars.

Detective Lindsay Boxer put serial killer Evan Burke behind bars. Now a new killer has recreated Burke's most infamous crimes-and disappeared without a trace.
Detective Lindsay Boxer put serial killer Evan Burke in jail.
Reporter Cindy Thomas put Burke on the bestseller list, in her true-crime book about the case.
An obsessed fan is studying every detail-and committing fresh horrors that carry Burke's signature.
Now Lindsay's tracking an elusive suspect, one who's penning a deadly playbook featuring Cindy's name in blood-red ink.

Exactly what you want from James Patterson and the Women’s Murder Club.
Twisty and turny to keep you wanting more and relatable because of the love between these women.
Read if you want an easy reading thriller.

A brilliant read - as always.
Thanks to NetGalley and to the author for giving me the chance to read and review this book.

Enjoyed this book, its the first in the series that I have read and I found it gripping. Great thriller with exciting fast paced storyline. I'll check out the rest of the series.

A great story with so many twists and turns in it keeping you hooked in from page to page. Impossible to put down!

23rd Midnight is another installment in the Women’s Murder Club by JP. These books are fairly easy reads, formulaic and a little predictable at times. This one sees one of their own in peril, so it becomes a race against time, much like most of the previous books in the series. If you want surprising, this series isn’t usually it, but if you want books that will keep you turning pages then this is the series for you!

I still really enjoy the Women’s Murder Club books as they are easy to read and entertaining.
There isn’t much in the way of surprising and the same storylines seem to keep on repeating, I have no idea why the women all still hang out together, as it’s always dangerous for at least one of them,
The chapters seemed longer for this book than usual - I prefer the shorter chapters because it’s like eating sweets, it’s probably not good for you, but it is briefly enjoyable and a few are usually enough.
Another solid read from a solid series.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book

This women’s murder club continuing tale is up to the usual standard of the author. A page turner and one to be recommended.

I enjoy reading a series where your characters are so familiar it’s like running into old friends. I’m with Boxer on the feeling and questioning whether it’s time to give it up, there were certainly times when I felt that the women’s murder club were past their prime and was feeling a little tired and all been done before. However, the writing and quick read chapters make these books enjoyable and easy to read. I’m always going to want to pick up a Patterson book but I do wonder if it’s time for these ladies to retire or *gasp* someone to be killed off!! There is no shock value or surprising twists but it is a safe and known entity when you decide to pick a Womens murder club series book…. The main characters will prevail, they will survive, they will be there for each other and there will be a serial killer/gruesome murderer/deadly opponent
I have received this book for free as an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

Received a copy via netgalley, I've read a couple of james Patterson books in the past but I haven't read any of this series. I really enjoyed the quick short chapters that kept me reading. Really interesting storyline. I will be reading more of the series at some point.

I couldn't put this book down! It had me gripped from the fist chapter and I needed to read it to see how it all unfolded. Brilliantly written and loved every page!

Thanks to Netgalley and Random House UK for the ARC of this book.
I have not read any of the other books in this particular series although I have read lots of James Patterson books. This book did not disappoint in any way. Usual short, quick and informative chapters. The characters are all very interesting and I certainly want to now read more books in this series. The characters have obviously come very close together over the time they have been together and they gel really well together. The storyline was different which added to the intrigue. Will definitely recommend this series if asked.

An absolutely fantastic addition to this series, i couldn’t put it down. A must for all murder mystery readers.

As we have come to expect from this series, it is a tense and gripping thriller. A young woman and baby are targetted and murdered, along with a jogger who tries to help. The 'blackout' killer then starts sending Lindsay videos of his kills, emulating and praising the evil Evan Burke who Lindsay and her team got put into prison.
The result is a tense time, as links appear to her author friend Cindy, who has a biography of Burke which is gaining traction. Lindsay has to find this narcissistic killer before he claims more victims.
An exciting read. Thank you to NetGalley, Random House UK and Cornerstone for allowing me access to the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book. Great characters that you rooted for, lots of twists and turns along the way that made it a real page turner.

Another action psacked Murder/Mystery from James Patterson. Two serial killers get together, one in prison the other on the outside. They plan and carry out their murders with the police hot on the trail of the one on the outside. The police as well as the public were at risk. A really exceiting story that I read in one day. I couldn't put it down!

I love the Womens murder club and all of the characters within and this episode in their lives is another excellent read!
Centered around the biographical writing work of one member, telling the real story of a notorious serial killer the body count soon mounts for a seeming copycat and the women are all dragged in to the case in some way.
the storyline is complex, the murders are written to ooze off the page with their psychopathic charm and arrogance and the detectives are just the right level of disgruntled, exhausted but professional and determined.
Fantastic read!
