Fun middle grade fantastical story, the reader is high energy and engaging which keeps you listening. Great fun read for younger kids with plenty of giggles and adventure too.

My children loved this audiobook.

This story is the second book in a series. We haven't read the first book, but we could still enjoy this as an adventure on its own.

This hilarious story follows Jack as he is called to help with reported monsters in Scotland. With his friend Nancy they set off on an adventure to hunt some monsters.

The narrator was fantastic. Perfect for a children's story.

This is brilliant! From page one, you know this is special. The story is about 10 year old Jack "battling" the monsters he comes across, to keep the world safe.

The style of writing is redolent of Lemony Snicket, with his little asides, wonderful use of vocabulary and hilariously named characters. The "nuns" made me laugh every time they appeared.

I hadn't heard the first book, so I'll be looking out for that 🙂
