This book really touched a nerve with me as I cared for both my Dad and Mum as they became ill then incapacitated then both died within a short space of time. If you've experienced this or similar or know someone who has then while a difficult read at times it can also be cathartic and should be on the shelf of not just someone who has experienced the same but carers and caring professionals.

Thank you NetGalley. This is a non-fiction story. It was written by one of the siblings who took care of their parents through the end of life. They kept a notebook daily and wrote in it as they took care of their Dad and then their Mom. They kept a record of everything and referred to it to write the book. It would be so much help if you are going through this with your Dad and Mom or really any member of your family.

M a l l a r r I es talk about her family. I love how she discussed The death of her parents was really interesting how she embraced it. Where's your dad and how he was really active when he was very healthy at one point and he became sick. But he looked at his LIF. E! It i I As a journey through time. Do you remember this thing when it's a child? When he talks about it with his children and how they seem to take it very well.. I like how he approached his Dea t. H. And how do you get a lot of different things to help me get through it. Your mother got sick as well. And they kind of the same approaches for father. They get a lot of different things, with her. I think this book should be read when people are dying. Because it shows you, it's a journey. It compares you to accept things as they are. I think dying at home is much more better than dying in a hospital. Because you can be around people i You love and all your memories as well.

Being a caregiver myself, I
I could easily relate to this family. Fascinating to hear about what it was like for them.

I know it's different for everyone...for myself, I am a caregiver to a disabled husband who was injured in the military. A bit different than being a caregiver to an ailing parent, but I admire those that are able to be in a caregiver role.

Thanks for sharing your story.

Thanks to Netgalley & the Publisher for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
