So much energy! This will be a fun read aloud and also a great book to read alone or with a partner. Every page has rhyming text bouncing around the illustrations. The artwork is highly detailed and fun to look at. So many monsters and activities plus a hidden Santa monster on each spread.
Younger readers will love all the colors and action as they read the story.

It may be hot and sticky now but the holiday season will come. Who better for a young one to spend it with than these cute critters? Here is a book that will delight children. It is filled with intricate illustrations and rhyming text. For extra entertainment, kids can search for monster Santa in every two page spread.

I enjoyed this book and the various shenanigans the monsters get into as they prepare for Christmas. It is an amusing book with rhyme and good for really young readers. The illustrations are beautifully done and compliment the book.

My child loved this book! The short sentences, the rhyming, and the colorful pictures kept his interest. I loved how much was going on in the pictures on each page. It was so fun to explore and hunt for the hidden Santa on each page. I would highly recommend this book!

My two children love both monsters and Christmas. They're 3 and 5 and really enjoyed this book. They liked finding different colors and shapes of monsters in each photo. Their favorite part was going back and finding the Santa Monster in every scene. This would be a fun stocking stuffer or Christmas gift for young children.

Such a fun and colorful book. Each page is full of fun illustrations that will keep your little one intrigued again and again. I loved the fun "find Santa Monster" activity revealed at the end. What a terrific way to extend the reading experience.

A hilarious rhyming picture book all about monsters at Christmas time, getting ready for the holiday.

This was absolutely hilarious mostly because of the illustrations, each page had so much going on you could spend hours looking at each page and continue to find something new and hilarious going on. I loved the illustrations in this picture book, they were perfection.

The story itself was really fun, each page had a different topic of Christmas on it, with it rhyming everything was so perfectly created and was really fun to read. I really enjoyed this whimsical hilarious Christmas book, it’s so different to any of the others that I’ve read.

This book would be an absolute hit with younger children, there is so much to gain from it, from how funny it is, how fun the rhymes are, to the amount of crazy happenings going on in the illustrations, to the can you find the Santa monster on each page that you get at the end. I really think this is one that children should have around the holiday they will have so much fun.

My son and I read books as our nighttime routine together and we really enjoyed "Monsters at Christmas". Cute book

A really fun read and easy for a little one to join in. We especially love the illustrations but on some pages it was hard to find all the writing and we missed bits and only saw it when we went back.

I am going to start my review with a confession – I read this book myself and I really enjoyed it (yes I know I am way above the age range but it was cute and Christmas and I loved looking for the Santa Monster!)!!

After I had finished I gave this book to my 5 year old daughter and asked her to read it to me – Oh my goodness she thought it was brilliant, she was giggling, laughing at the monsters being silly and she just loved the illustrations. It was a lovely flowing book and she read it all without any help from me on the words so that made it even more enjoyable for her. She also loved finding the Santa Monster too and had to do that on each page before she would read the pages!

It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended and a perfect Christmas book for little ones – we will definitely be reading it again nearer the big day, fab, fun and engaging!

I read this with my daughter. This was such a cute Christmas read. The illustrations were bright and busy! This was a “just for fun” read that didn’t really aim to teach any lessons. It was just quick a cute.

The rhyming was on point. I loved at the end where it asked if you could spot the Christmas monster in every scene. We had fun going back to look for the Christmas monster. All in all a fun read!

Follow along with all kinds of holiday monsters, Hairy monsters, shiny monsters, and tiny monsters. Every kind of monsters you can think of even a wreath monster. There are sneaking monsters and peeking monsters even a Fa-La-LAAAA monster. Cute and playful illustrations. Children can find something new every time they read this book. There is sure to be a monster to put a smile on your face.

This is such a cute book! The illustrations are fun and it’s definitely a book that I would buy if I had young children or taught young children. I don’t think my fifth graders would go for this book, but it’s a silly cute read that would be perfect for Christmas time.

This was a very cute story! I read it to my seven year old, but I think it would also be appropriate for a younger child, and will likely also read it to my two year old. My son loved the book and commented throughout on the silly monsters. When we got to the end of the story, we had to go back to the beginning to find the Santa monster, which was a lot of fun and something we both completely missed the first time around. Altogether, a children's book I would recommend to anyone with young children!
