This was a great read for kids to learn about the composer Mozart. It was easy to read and understand for young readers. The information was good about the composer.

I love the "Little People, Big Dreams" books, and this one is no different. This book follows the life of the famous composer, Mozart, from childhood to famous adulthood.

The illustrations are fun and eye-catching in this book, but what really stands out is the story of Mozart. There are many great details, and I was able to learn things that I didn't know about the composer. While this book is geared towards children, adults would enjoy this as well. At the back of the book you can find a more in-depth timeline with more detailed events from the composer's life.

I think this book is a great addition to the series, and I can't wait to see what comes next!

Always a fun read, this one illustrates Mozart's life. His extraordinary talent and music he created during his lifetime. Although born a prodigy, the composer also had his ups and downs. But when you believe in yourself and your talent, you can conquer the world like he did.

‘Mozart’ by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara with illustrations by Lia Visirin is a picture book biography of the famous composer.

Wolfgang Mozart started playing keyboard at 3, but he didn’t stop there. He mastered instruments, wrote compositions and played for royal families. Mozart pushed musical boundaries, wrote over 600 pieces and tragically died young.

This is book 105 in a series that shows no sign of ending or flagging in quality. The illustrations are great and this is a good subject for this series.

The beautiful illustrations really fit the time frame of Mozart. They compliment the music as well. I was glad to see real pictures in the timeline at the end, especially from that timeframe.

Mozart by Isabel Sanchez Vegara is another fantastic children's book in the Little People, Big Dreams series.

Wolfgang Mozart first started playing the keyboard at just three years old. Inspired by his sister’s talent, little Wolfgang soon mastered several instruments and was even writing his own musical compositions. As a young boy, he travelled from city to city with his father and sister, playing for Europe’s royal families and delighting them with his talents. When his father fell ill, and Wolfgang had to keep quiet in their home, he wrote a whole symphony from just hearing the instruments in his head! As he grew, Mozart pushed the boundaries of western music and created exciting masterpieces: from dances and masses to symphonies and operas. Wolfgang wrote over 600 pieces during his short life.

These little books are wonderful find for small children learning about famous people all around the world dead or still alive. A must have book.

We love this series. Unfortunately this one felt a little lacking in comparison to the others in the series. I did learn some things I never knew about Mozart so that was cool.

I got this on Netgalley in exchange for an honest review!

I really enjoy this series of picture-books, and this was no different! I love the artstyle and colour-choices, and also thought it was good and important to mention Mozart's sister and how she could not follow her dreams of playing like Mozart did! If I ever do anything related to Mozart in the lower grades, I will definitely use this in my unit!

Another great addition to the Little People, Big Dreams collection.

Whilst I know a lot of Mozart's music, I knew little of his story.

The book covers his life briefly with lots of lovely illustrations.

Just enough story to enable us to read this before bed.

A great jumping point to introduce young people to Mozart's music.

This book is extremely lacking. It doesn’t even mention Mozart’s death until the info bits at the end. This book so glosses over Mozart that it’s almost useless, except for the mention of Mozart’s sister. Now that it’s someone I’d like to see a little people big world book about.

Another great little book in the series Little People Big Dreams on the life of Mozart. A fabulous series that introduces younger children to characters who have changed and influenced the world in different ways. This book deals with the life of Mozart and his amazing musical genius.

We really enjoyed this addition to the Little People, BIG DREAMS stories that we discovered recently. These books are perfect for our little ones to understand and learn from. This story is all about Mozart and as a music loving family we really loved learning all about him. We learned how he started at a young age of 3 and played in so many wondrous places for many different people. We loved learning each new fact and learning more about this composer whose music we have listened to as a family. This book has great illustrations to help children understand the facts that they are learning. This book is also great to share in an early childhood classroom. You will enjoy this one for sure.

Another fantastic book from the Little People, Big Dreams series.
This book was quite close to my heart as I play the piano and my sister travels the world playing it to (we have very different levels of talent… if you can even call mine that!).

It gives the reader an indepth insight into Mozart’s life, some things which I didn’t even know. I liked the fact that it touched on how Mozart as a boy was able to move in his career, but women at that time could not.

A well informed biography, perfect for young readers who love classical music and also those who like to dabble.

A cute, beautifully drawn book that covers the main events of Mozart's life. I appreciate that the colours are not overly saturated and vibrant like many pictures books, but still remain engaging.

I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are my own opinions.

I say this every time I review this series, but I really can't get over how fantastic they are. They don't just include the positive. They include the realities of Mozart's in a way a child could comprehend.

I really enjoyed this book about Mozart.
Obviously I know who he is, but this book have great insight into his life that I would never have otherwise learnt about him.
That's what I love about these books - even as an adult, I don't think I have ever not read one of these books and not learnt new facts about who I am reading about.
Great book!

This new entry in the long running series introduces children to the multi talented musician who seemed to be able do anything at all, so long as it was related to music. The range of Mozart’s dazzling talents are well showcased here. While Mozart’s story is the main focus, some attention also paid to his sister. It is noted that while Mozart, as a boy, could keep moving forward in his career, that was not possible for young women at the time.

This is another solid title about little people with big dreams. The illustrations are evocative and complement. There is also additional information included at the end of the book.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group. All opinions are my own.

A well informed biography written perfectly for young readers. It is not dumbed down and also not too high in vocabulary that would make it difficult to understand. The illustrations are lovely and perfect for young readers to look at on their own or while being read to.

Almost impossible to conceive that Mozart did all he has done by the age of 35... and then died. Really put me in the mood for the Amadeus movie!

I love this series and am a fan of classical music so this was a fun book to crack open for me. I think in contrast to some other books in this series it was a bit less engaging and the illustrations were maybe a bit more quiet -- I happen to find classical music to be exciting and so I think I imagined it would depict Mozart's life in a bit more lively a fashion. Ultimately it does its job though and I think I would still grab it to read with my niece.
