This book is so beautiful and fun and informative, and perfect for the little ones! The little flaps with hidden artifacts are so cute, I know this is gonna be a massive hit with the history obsessed kids!
A weekend visit to their grandparents end up being an adventure for the kitty siblings. This is a very cute and educational book. You get to learn about everything from Vikings to dinosaurs. The art is magical, and the flaps show adorable secret nuggets. Children will enjoy this whimsical book.. it is a much have for lovers of cats and museums. A great addition to any library!
A picture book, with lift-the-flaps, about cats going to the museum!
A cat family goes to the museum to explore the world of history. Everything from clothes to bugs to dinosaurs, we get to explore the museum alongside the cats in this illustrated book for young readers.
The lift-the-flaps made this book all the more fun, and with the artwork moving the story forward, I enjoyed going to the museum with the cats, which I am sure young readers will also enjoy this book. It’s easy to follow and fun to find out more. I would recommend this!
Happy reading!♥️
what a cute and cosy read! a book which can be read by anyone even if they're not kids. I loved it!!
This was a fun lift the flap book that I really enjoyed despite being well above the intended demographic! There were a lot of flaps to lift on each page, though i was reading digitally so didn't get the full experience of actually lifting them - however, I did thoroughly enjoy guessing where the flaps would be as there was nothing to indicate this on the page until you switched to the "open" page!
The illustrations were very nostalgic and the inclusion of background animals using mobility aids such as a wheelchair was great!
cute children’s story, would recommend to a young audience wanting a quick story. adorable drawings!
Gorgeous books full of lovely drawings that are interesting and cute, the flip and flaps will be a real winner in the printed version keeping wee ones interested for longer. Great story about the joy and wonder of visiting a museum, made me think of my childhood visiting Kelvingrove in Glasgow a museum is poor than just paintings it’s a world within many worlds perfect for little kittens and all just as this Gorgeous books shows. Perfect for pre school 4-6, would be a great classroom book to read before a class trip or a lovely gift for little cat people
Join the Cat Family on a day at the museum in this wonderful lift-the-flap book. Open drawers and doors for a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of the museum.
Great for curious kids and full of charming details. Little ones will love uncovering hidden details in each scene.
My little one is a big fan of lift-the-flap books, and Mama is a bit of a museum geek. I expect we’ll be adding this to our shelves soon.
As a lover of museums I couldn’t resist this story of the Cat family visiting a museum. I love the detailed illustrations. My favorite room was the European art as I recognized many of the works that were now cat filled. Other rooms include Dinosaurs, Vikings, Chinese, Clothes, Natural History etc. This is a lift the flap book with over 140 doors to open. I am recommending the physical book. (The digital copy shows the rooms with flaps closed and on the next page the same words and rooms showing the flaps open.) I don’t purchase flap books for my school library as they get damaged too quickly. But I think this is something younger readers will enjoy.
Cat Family at The Museum is book with adorable illustrations. It's about a happy cat family and their trip to the museum. Children will find this book to be both enjoyable to look at, with plenty of fun, secret windows, and educational to read. This was a cute and interactive book, I love anything to do with cats,

Absolutely loved it.
I don't usually read children's books but recently a tiny girl joined my family and I wanted to find a book to give to her as a present. She loves animals, as I do. She has two cats at home so this is a perfect option.
I really enjoyed it and I will read it to her as soon as I see her.
Both the illustrations and the plot were cute and entertaining.
I recommend this book a lot.
We have another of these books in the series and so I thought that trying an e copy would be good. The stories are nice and in a hard copy, the lift the flaps are great. Not so much as an ebook. I think part of the joy is finding the flaps and what’s under them which is a little lost in the ecopy.
Little one enjoyed the story though and the illustrations are very pretty!

This is an adorable book and provides much to enjoy whether or not you are specifically a cat-lover. I am a dog person myself, but this book was a pleasure to experience, especially given the care and love that has gone into its preparation.
The cat family decides to visit the Museum and has a delightful time - not least, thanks to the "mice surprise"! There is much learning to be had, but in the most pleasurable way possible.
The book provides a nice degree of detail and little extras along the way, and just as the kitties had a great visit, the small (and large!) visitors who accompany them will, too.
Thank you Quarto Publishing Group for the ARC I read on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
THIS IS SO CUTE CUTE CUTE CUTEST CHILDREN'S BOOK! AND I LOVE EVERY SINGLE THING RELATED TO CATS.
What an entertaining and educational read! Not only are the illustrations gorgeous, but the delightful cat family provides explanations about everything in the museum, making this book great for children.
Cat Family at the Museum was our fun read today and my kids really enjoyed looking at the pictures and everything that was happening on each page. We took time to take guess at what we think would be hiding behind each door and thought it was so much fun seeing all the little surprised scattered throughout. We also had a great discussion about out favorite parts of the museum and what we saw when we were actually there ourselves.
*ARC NETGALLEY REVIEW- read to my retired service dog.
Omg we loved this book, they had grandmas and papas just like him, he loved that. Kitten is also his weakness having saved 3. And so much more. The arc so awesome about show the hidden items for it to be just as fun even without the book.
5 paws absolutely
This was such a cute children’s book. I read this with my nephew and he loved it and thought it was cool that you could look inside stuff. Would’ve loved this in physical format more, so he could lift them up, but that a personal preference. The illustrations were well done and engaging. This is perfect for to encourage the little ones to want to discovery more and learn more.
Thank you Net Galley for providing me and my nephew an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Cat Family at The Museum is a very sweet children's book. The illustrations are adorable with plenty of fun details to discover. The flaps offer much to explore, with many sweet and silly surprises. The mice are too cute! There are some historical facts written into the story as well, in a way that would be interesting to children, yet not overwhelming for their comprehension level.
I would recommend Cat Family at The Museum to anyone looking for a great gift for a child. This book will likely inspire children to want to explore their local museum, which is fantastic!
Cat Family at the Museum is so sweet! The illustrations are beautiful and detailed, showing the grandparent cats taking the little cats on a trip to a natural history museum. There are many lift the flaps on each two page full spread illustration. I really appreciated that this book has a strong story and a solid amount of text! The story understanding level is great for preschool or younger elementary aged children who, in my experience, still love lifting those little flaps. I was delighted to spot that the artwork in the illustrations are based on real works of art: I spotted the Thinker, Degas's Ballerina, and the Cat with a Pearl Earring among others. I reviewed this title electronically and am excited to read it in person!
