I read this book repeated with my four year old at a excellent bedtime story. I really enjoyed it and she did too. It has such a cute story and illustrations you don't often see inn modern story books. the details in the storyline and the accompanying pop-up pictures were so whimsical and cute.my daughter is definitely a cat lover and she loved the entire family of cats. Seriously, the quality of this children story is NOT something we see often this days it felt like revisiting a story that would have been popular when I was a child. nowadays picture books feel like they get away doing the bare minimum and this book was thoroughly detailed, very cute, smart and very lovely book

This is a very cute children's` book -- it takes you on a tour of a museum and gives limited facts about the different exhibits you may find at a museum . For children how enjoy touching and exploring this book has flip up parts to discover more that is hidden at the museum. Fun to do together with your young child. Thank-you Netgalley for this book -- this is my honest review.

I have never been a lift-a-flap book fan, I only like the ones when the flaps hide some things that are worth hiding, such as offering an insight to the internal structure of some things.

This book is not one of those. But I still love it. The flaps hide mice. It works not in a non-fiction informational text kind of way but in a cute fun way that kids will surely love.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and Lucy Brownridge for allowing me to read an ARC of this children's book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute and interactive book, I love anything to do with cats so knew I would like this too but I really enjoyed it and thought it was a nice story with a little bit of education too!

What a curious, entertaining and precious book this is!

I loved that on each page there were so many things to see and then the different hidden scenes were added. That made me go back and forth to see exactly what was there before.

I work with children and I know that it would be one of those books that they would open more than once, that they would invite their friends to look at it with them and try to guess what is behind the surface.

I liked that they are all animals and that even being animals you can show the diversity between them, and the inclusion.

Thank you Quarto Publishing Group for the ARC I read on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely gorgeous artwork. It is double page illustrations which means there is loads of stuff to look at and discover. I spotted something new every time I read through it.

The story takes you through various museum exhibitions and gives an easy to digest historical fact on each time period.

This is a lift-the-flap type book which is usually aimed at younger children. This one is aimed at 3-6 and is very suitable for that age range.

Such a cute book. The illustrations are beautiful and very detailed. It doesn’t feel much like a linear story, more a description of each page, but I think it could make it fun to go to the museum with kids. I like the flaps, that give a little cute detail.

Delightful. Super detailed illustrations of a large family of cats visiting the Museum of natural history. From prehistory to outer space, there are plenty of rooms and themes to showcase everyone's favorite. On top of all the beautiful art, each page has secret hidden interactive doors that we can open to uncover more artifacts and fun extras.
Thank you, publisher and NetGalley for this eARC.

Cat Family at the Museum is a delightful read following cat siblings exploring the museum with their grandparents. Every page is filled with things to look at and windows to open. The story itself is equal parts fun and educational and is perfect for introducing children to the delights of a museum visit or reminiscing about your own favorite exhibits to explore.

The illustrations are really quite lovely and aesthetic, while still being eye catching enough for kids to enjoy. With so much going on in each spread, I can see kids reading this one over and over and seeing something new each time.

Cat Family at the Museum was our fun read today and my kids really enjoyed looking at the pictures and everything that was happening on each page. We took time to take guess at what we think would be hiding behind each door and thought it was so much fun seeing all the little surprised scattered throughout. We also had a great discussion about out favorite parts of the museum and what we saw when we were actually there ourselves.

This was such a cute children’s book. I read this with my nephew and he loved it and thought it was cool that you could look inside stuff. Would’ve loved this in physical format more, so he could lift them up, but that a personal preference. The illustrations were well done and engaging. This is perfect for to encourage the little ones to want to discovery more and learn more.

Thank you Net Galley for providing me and my nephew an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Cat Family at The Museum is a very sweet children's book. The illustrations are adorable with plenty of fun details to discover. The flaps offer much to explore, with many sweet and silly surprises. The mice are too cute! There are some historical facts written into the story as well, in a way that would be interesting to children, yet not overwhelming for their comprehension level.

I would recommend Cat Family at The Museum to anyone looking for a great gift for a child. This book will likely inspire children to want to explore their local museum, which is fantastic!

Cat Family at the Museum is so sweet! The illustrations are beautiful and detailed, showing the grandparent cats taking the little cats on a trip to a natural history museum. There are many lift the flaps on each two page full spread illustration. I really appreciated that this book has a strong story and a solid amount of text! The story understanding level is great for preschool or younger elementary aged children who, in my experience, still love lifting those little flaps. I was delighted to spot that the artwork in the illustrations are based on real works of art: I spotted the Thinker, Degas's Ballerina, and the Cat with a Pearl Earring among others. I reviewed this title electronically and am excited to read it in person!

Absolutely loved it.

I don't usually read children's books but recently a tiny girl joined my family and I wanted to find a book to give to her as a present. She loves animals, as I do. She has two cats at home so this is a perfect option.

I really enjoyed it and I will read it to her as soon as I see her.

Both the illustrations and the plot were cute and entertaining.

I recommend this book a lot.

This book exclaims children’s reading in all its pages and I adored it, even if I’m not a little girl. The illustrations are a real pleasure for the eyes so much so that instead of following the story, that are short, I focused on the details of each room. The secret windows are a mixture of what is real and what you can imagine they are hidden or be a surprises! A recommended reading to do with children to discover curiously the exhibitions of the museum and who knows, maybe visit it one day.
