Spicy spicy! If you want a book full of adult content, here's your chance. A little much for me, I would rather more story and less spice.
Natalie runs the farm now that her father and mother are deceased. Her youngest brother is getting married and all she has is the farm. While riding her horse, a rabid dog chases her and she is saved by Jason. Billy hires him to be the farm manager when he leaves. Now she has three men wanting her attention, Jim, her high school sweetheart, the new deputy Christopher, and Jason. Natalie promised her mother she would keep the farm going but a lawyer showed up and wanted to buy it. She is bound and determined to keep it in the family. I really liked this book. Natalie was a hard worker and keeping promises was important. Jason helps out on the farm and would love to be Natalie’s lover. Jim still has high hopes for Natalie, and the deputy is more than she can take. The love triangle was interesting as it resolved itself. Lots of twists and turns with surprises along the way.
The story revolves around Natalie, a young woman who shoulders the responsibility of her family farm and her younger brothers after the tragic losses of her parents. As three different men—each with their own compelling backstory—compete for her heart, Natalie navigates a delicate balance between longing for love and her sense of duty.
The narrative skillfully delves into Natalie's inner struggle as she grapples with her desires, societal expectations, and the weight of her responsibilities. The characters come alive through their relatable experiences, making you root for their growth and happiness.
Hold onto your hats, because this book is about to take you on a rollercoaster ride through love, loss, and a farmgirl's journey to find her place in the world. Meet Natalie, a determined young woman managing her family farm and looking after her brothers. With three intriguing men vying for her attention, you'll find yourself just as torn as she is. Should she listen to her heart's cravings or follow her mother's teachings about purity and love?
I couldn't put this book down! Natalie's struggles felt like my own, and the tangled web of emotions kept me hooked till the last page.
I was a little skeptical of this book as I didn't love the title, but it was way better than I expected! The dialogue felt a little rudimentary but it was otherwise great - a definite page turner with lots of complicated and captivating characters. Highly recommend!
