Natalie is struggling to keep her farm alive, while also desperately trying to find love. At age 23, she’s still a virgin because her mother always told her to remain pure and when you find the right man it will be magical. Natalie runs the farm now that her father and mother are deceased. Her youngest brother is getting married and all she has is the farm. While riding her horse, a rabid dog chases her and she is saved by Jason. Billy hires him to be the farm manager when he leaves. Now she has three men wanting her attention, Jim, her high school sweetheart, the new deputy Christopher, and Jason. Natalie promised her mother she would keep the farm going but a lawyer showed up and wanted to buy it. She is bound and determined to keep it in the family. I really liked this book. Natalie was a hard worker and keeping promises was important. Jason helps out on the farm and would love to be Natalie’s lover. Jim still has high hopes for Natalie, and the deputy is more than she can take. The love triangle was interesting as it resolved itself. Lots of twists and turns with surprises along the way.
