It was a light and easy read. A good break from my emotional reads. Actually, it had a few emotional moments, but not as heavy as I usually read.

Amy was so sweet and kind towards everyone. I liked her. Drew was rude sometimes. I understand the reason though. But honestly, I couldn't feel anything like love between them. Their interactions were kinda dull. Maybe, the author could've express it more.

I had a few problems with the writing. When we go to one chapter to another, there should be mentioned how many days we have passed. Only a few ones had those mentions. Also, in the same chapter, they were talking about meeting someone after one week at one para then there's the meeting convo in the next, no mention that the time had passed. It's confusing as hell!

The ending twists were great but it finished in a rush. Could be a little longer.

3,5* rounded to 4* When I selected this book I wished to be swept away on a Wales country land and I can say that's what I got.

Amy's spending some time home sitting a cottage for ther aunt, trying to settle again after a bad break up.
Andrew Giles is the son of her neighbour, a old farmer recovering from a stroke, he's a brilliant awarded architect who spends his weekend coming home to help his father keeping hold of his farm and life.
Set in a little country town where everybody knows everybody's business, Amy enjoys the joys of being in contact with the nature and with a community.

There where some really amusing moments, some moving ones, but how I stated earlier what really charmed me was the setting, I almost felt there on those hills.
I really appraciated all the side characters and how the contributed to the story.
A perfect romance for a fall cozy day read.

Thank you Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for providing this book as an Arc in exchange of an honest review.

Wow this is the first book I've read by Sally morgan and just wow.
It's amazing. Such a sweet story going from disliking someone to loving them as much as drew and Amy do. This story makes a person's heart feel happy and makes you smile and giggle especially when drew climbs the ladder not once but twice.
Hammy is such a clever puppy I'm so glad he is and that Amy followed him. Otherwise the story would of had a very sad ending. I can't wait to read more from this author
