Really, really enjoyed this. I loved the setting and the mini travels around Italy. I loved the big, loud family. I loved that for once the drama wasn’t caused by a third person. Brilliant read!

Whenever you sit down with a new Julie Caplin novels you can be assured of the following -
- A desire to jump onto a plane to whichever is the featured destination in the book
- Feeling incredibly hungry as you read, there is often a foodie theme somewhere in the book
- A delicious love story that will have you rooting for both people

And this book had all of this and a whole lot more besides.

I was transported to the Amalfi Coast and really felt for Lia, as life as she had known it had just been turned on its head as she had discovered the man who raised her isn't her birth father, and she is in fact related to an Italian superstar actor.

Although getting access to Ernesto is rather tricky when his step son, the gorgeous Raph who acts as his business manager too, is determined to see the worst in everyone.

As Lia eventually meets and starts getting to know the Italian side of her family, I fell more and more in love with this story.

I love that Lia is a textile artist, I loved Aurelia teaching her to love food a whole lot more and the gastronomy tour was amazing. It had my mouth watering, while I could feel the heat between our leads even if they try to deny it.

This totally transported me to Italy and into the lives of Raph's family. I adored every single second of it, from the great characters to the sunshine feeling from the book. Just another totally wonderful read from a queen of escapist fiction.

Thank you to One More Chapter and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

I have read and enjoyed some of Julie’s previous ‘Romantic Escapes’ (this one is #11) as they offer great escapism to some wonderful world locations. Each of these novels are standalones (although there are characters from previous novels that may make fun appearances) and this time around I was fully ready for a stay at the Amalfi Coast for some Italian sunshine.

A Villa with a View is the perfect recipe for light escapism. I like how Julie’s heroines tend to be at the crossroads of both career and love life, attempting to be bold enough to take strong steps to live their best life. So, wait no more ... grab a drink and snuggle up in your favourite reading spot to spend a few hours in Positano Italy with this comfort read. If you are pining to escape somewhere ... anywhere ... be sure to grab one of Julie’s romantic escape books.

‘… champagne reception to kick off the party was being held in the loggia, which ran along the side of the villa and made the most of the commanding view from the cliff top.’

Stories set abroad are not my regular read, however i always love books by this author, her writing always has me engrossed and not wanting to put it down.

For this story, we are the beautiful sounding Amalfi Coast, where we encounter Lia & the rather grumpy Italian Ralph. The descriptions Julie writes transport you into the to culture of Italy and you wont want to put it down.

Thank you NetGalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter for an early release copy to read in turn for a honest review.

I really enjoyed this book, the sweet enemies to lovers love story, and the setting in beautiful Positano. Some of the writing was a little poor at times, but overall, it was a really sweet story. I also loved the reunification of father and daughter. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.

A wonderful Italian Coastal setting, a grumpy Italian, a long lost father. I love it already and I must say once I started reading, I loved it even more. What a wonderful, fun, entertaining book that will let you escape to a beautiful Italian town and villa that you won't want to leave. Love Lia and the handsome yet grumpy Raph and they made me laugh.

The wonderful descriptions within the pages of this book will make you hungry for Italian food, Italian coast and for an Italian holiday for sure. I enjoyed this book form start to finish and always enjoy books by this author as they really do make you feel happy.

This book had some of my favorite things - the Amalfi Coast and the forced proximity trope! It was a sweet, easy read - perfect for a beach vacation. Caplin's descriptions of the setting, food, and the characters will leave you wishing you were on a plane to Italy yourself!!
