This is like an activity book for adults. I'm surprised how much I liked going through this and seeing so many options we can take for healthier habits.
Great book, easy to navigate through and very positive!
Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.
This book encourages readers to let go of harsh resolutions and instead embrace small, positive changes throughout the year. Think baby steps to a happier life. It's packed with practical tips on sleep, nature, gratitude, and more, all designed to help you feel your best, one day at a time. So ditch the pressure, grab this book, and start building a life you love.
The easiest to implement (& stick with) book of habits I have read. My absolute favorite was literally the first one in the book. Before you even open your eye think of 3 things to be thankful for. Not only did that set the tone for the book, it sets the tone for your day.
I really loved this book. It was so calming to take in the content. It's been a great book to curl up with on the sofa while the wind is howling outside, because it really has that kind of 'new year, new me' feel to it. Very inspiring. Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for an eARC.
This is a lovely book. I wish a preview had also been available on kindle because the temporary file deleted itself before I could finish it to publicly review. What I saw looked extremely well done and helpful.
Holistic Habits was a great way to find some new ways to live a calmer life. I appreciated the journaling aspect of it as well.
I loved this practical, fun journal.
The questions are varied and the tasks are interesting and creative.
I don’t consider myself to be very artistic, but the prompts were great for beginners and made me feel capable.
The entire journal is laid out in a step by step manner, which makes it easy to focus in one one area such as sleep or morning routine, as needed.
This would make a great gift!
3.5 stars! This book serves as a great reminder that most of the time, the little things are really the big things. The illustrations were beautiful and there are also interactive pages as well. I think it would make a great gift, with the new year right around the corner. Thanks to NetGalley for the free copy in exchange for my honest review!
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. This was a fun read! It has some great ideas and tips to destress and have fun!
HOLISTIC HABITS by Emine Rushton and Jocelyn de Kwant is the warm, rejuvenating read I've been craving. In clear, simple prose, the book invites the reader to consider the many small ways a life can be lived more fully and well. While I'd seen many of the intelligent suggestions before, this time the encouragement for rest and for calm, for moving more slowly and thoughtfully through your day. It felt like the warm cup of tea with a deeply trusted and well-known old friend. The habits are ones I think about daily -- whether I follow them or not. Slowly and ever so gradually, I am adopting more of their approach and enjoying the results. I received a copy of this book and these thoughts are my own, unbiased opinions.
NetGalley review in App.
Omg, I absolutely loved this, as I reviewed it in the app, vs my iPad I could not complete the activities. This is the best neurodivergent friendly book. Build foundation where some may struggle, and just confirming confidence where some may not struggle but still are unsure. I can’t really express the joy I had as I saw similar concepts I have been implementing into my own life, confirm that I can holistically take care of myself, not telling my Autistic traits hold me back.
I wish I could have actually worked my way through this book in physical form giving it a full honest review. Highly recommend to anyone and all. I’ll recommend it to my yoga students for sure.
This book has such a pretty interior to match the sweet activities laid out for the reader. The illustrations itself make each page feel like an artwork within which you are adding your thoughts. I think this would make a really lovely gift.

Holistic habits by Jocelyn de Kwant is less about building habits and more a collection of bitesized changes we can make that have huge benefits.
Each chapter focuses on a specific area of life be that morning or evening specific habits or nutrition or exercise, to name a view. Each chapter is divided up into about 30 bite sized suggestions, all explaining the science behind the benefits in a language we can all understand. So you could try one a day or select a few specific to your needs.
Overall, I found the book helpful and have tried a few out, some succesfully others not so much. None cost me anything other than a minute or two. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to make positive changes, even if your busy and think you won't have time. Trust me you'll benefit!
Very helpful book with easy to follow routines. I love that the book has a lot of places where you can fill in with you own routines/meal plans etc.
Definitely helpful for someone who is wondering where to start with their holistic habits!
