Very pleasant, this lively and very yellow book is a letter from a parent to a child – in this case both are pandas – testifying to their mutual love. It surprises perhaps in being in limerick rhyming scheme and meter to begin with, before branching off into other approaches, but is very readable and energetic due to the familiarity of the opening style. Simplicity in the illustrations, some "I love you like..."s that might raise an eyebrow but will be recognisable to the very young, and a most suitable ending, all make this a very welcome entrant to the shelf of such books. A strong four stars.
This book has super cute illustrations, and the pandas are adorable! However, even though I really like the pictures, the rhyming text sometimes feels random in a way that is more nonsensical than funny, and some of the rhymes feel forced. This was cute, but because there are so many far better books about a parent's love for their child, I would only recommend this to people who are mainly interested in the panda illustrations.
This was such a cute book that we really enjoyed reading together! My four year old thought the pictures were really fun, and I enjoyed this one as well.
Sweet bedtime story full of love and good vibes. A must have for big bad days. Was soothing and gentle. Would recommend.
"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways!" Big and little panda tell many of the ways they love each other. Well done!
The illustrations by the author are fun, simple, colorful, and delightful.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or your local public library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Quarto Publishing Group/Frances Lincoln Children's Books/Happy Yak via NetGalley. Thank you!

This is a very fast to read book all about all of the ways that the little panda loves the big panda. It's full of cute illustrations and rhymes, great for young readers.
Cute , easy to read story. My daughter enjoyed it but I don't know it would be one she'd ask for again and again
What a lovely book! The illustrations are wonderful, and I love the yellow, it feels so sunshiny! It's a book full of love and warmth. I'm excited to share this book with my grandson soon.
I thought this was cute at first but then felt long and repetitive. I would say better suited for a 1-2 year old than my 3 year old.
What an easy-to-love picturebook story following a panda parent and his/her baby. I enjoyed all of the different ways that the panda parent describes things that are easy to love and how that is like the love that parents have for their babies. I liked the bright yellow background with the black and white pandas in the illustrations. The pandas really pop out on such a bright color background and I am sure that young children are drawn to such bright contrasts in colors. I would have loved to have read this to my children when they were little babies. I think this would make a great baby shower gift.
Cute and I love Pandas. This was a bit too repetitive for me but the illustrations were quant. I would say this would be a good book for an infant or maybe 1 year old but no older. My toddler didn’t hold any interest in it.
This is a sweet, easy read. The rhymes are easy for a younger reader to understand, while also being a good connection book for a parent to read to a child.
Overall, the book reminds us of the love we share.
This was a sweet book to read with my four year old son. I loved the bright yellow background. It helped make the pandas stand out. The rhyming text was random at times, but still engaging. A sweet story to read at bedtime.
Cuts, simple message, simple illustration, minimum but stand out colorization. About a panda cub listing what to compare their love for their mom
I saw this book and thought my daughter (almost 6) would enjoy it and my favourite animals are pandas so of course I got it. I loved the bright colours in I Love You. The story was cute and I enjoyed the rhyming. My daughter thought it was just an okay read. I’d still recommend this to people.
I received this book free for review from Netgalley.
Such a sweet book. Great thing to read at bedtime. Loved the mama panda and baby. Definitely recommend reading as a bedtime book.
This is the cutest book! This would be great for a classroom read a loud or a bedtime story at home. The illustrations are the cutest and you just want to squeeze the pandas!
Colorful and fun! My son loved the pandas and the yellow color. It's a great topic because we discuss how we show love a lot, especially after having a new sibling in the house. The story wasn't too long and I liked that the story rhymed. My son's favorite part was when the bears when on a picnic! Thank you for complimentary copy in exchange for this honest review! I wish that I could access this in the kindle app so we could read it on our kindle fire!
This is a cute book with a great repeating sentence pattern during the early pages, which is perfect for young children. Sweet and simple story that can be added to any young child’s library.
First off, my kid loved the book. He loved the color and the bears..he's four.
I didn't really care for the wording. It felt random at times, even forced to make the rhyme. Overall it's a fine book.
I received a copy of this ARC and am leaving my opinion voluntarily
