This is not the usual type of book I review, but as I therapist I was intrigued to read it and I was not disappointed! The artwork featured in the book is so cute. I love the author’s message of slowing down in today’s world and observing nature and creatures around us to ground us. I would definitely buy a copy of this book to keep in my therapy office or waiting room, as it is a light and fun read while also providing small morsels of wisdom. The author does a great job of emotionally connecting you to her flock, and the author’s note at the end made me much more emotional than I had planned when going into this book. I love the inspirational messages we can all learn from these amazing creatures and I love the tidbits of information about chickens sprinkled throughout. I need a physical copy of this beautiful book. Everyone must also read the authors note at the end. What a beautiful tribute this book is to some wonderful friends. I am so thankful that this book found me and I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy. Everyone should read this!!!
