It was a cosy read, definitely got me in the magically witchy mood. Although not usually my type of book to read, it was very fun and light hearted. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Charmed meets Practical Magic in this cute paranormal romance about a handsome popular tv paranormal investigator who's new show is going to focus on a supposedly magical business run by witches... except this time there really is a magical group of witches! Holly Celesete and her family are Wickeds, magical witches who are said to be wicked. Holly and all the women in her family are cursed with pwoers and the Celestes family run Wicked Good Apples, a magical apple farm. Holly and her family have worked hard to keep out of the public eye and the last thing Holly needs is a paranormal investigator trying to pry into their business and finding out their secret. Yet Holly needs the publicity and the money the show could bring to save her family's apple farm from going out of business. Holly is forced to accept Connor and determined to thwart him at all his attempts of investigation while controlling the information that he finds out. Yet the closer Conner gets to Holly the more romance begins to spark between them... but also the fact that he is getting closer and closer to discovering her secrets. Can she fall in love with the one person who could ruin her family? This was a really cute paranormal romance and a really easy read. The story was fun and it had a great Practical Magic vibe. I had fun reading this one and would definitely recommend this witchy read for anyone who wants a cute paranormal rom com during the autumn!

I have a rocky relationship with witchy romcoms. Some of them are among my favorite books ever. Others bored me or I didn't even finish them. It's therefore always a little scary to start a new one. However, this concept sounded just too good and I was really curious how the author was gonna make all this work. So, when I saw the book on Netgalley I requested a copy and I was really happy that Renegade books granted me one.

This was for sure one of the better witchy romcoms I've read. I guess that's partly because it's not entirely a romcom. There is way too much plot for that and the stakes are also way too high. I think it makes the book a little hard to market and categorize. It's too "serious" for a lighthearted comedy, but there is too much focus on the romance and issues are solved in a non spectacular way for it to be a fantasy.

However, I enjoyed it from start to finish. The setting in the beginning felt a little chaotic, but within a few chapters I'd already gotten attached to Holly and her family. Luckily it feels like the author is far from done with this story. Quite a few secrets are revealed in the second half of the book and it's clear that there is more than enough mystery left to continue some plot lines in the next book. I already have some wishes when it comes to the starring couple.

They have quite some shoes to fill! Holly and Connor were amazing together. They had a nice sort of tension from the very beginning, but it was also clear that they each had their own goals and that those opposed each other. I was, however, very positively surprised by the moment they were almost forced to be honest and vulnerable with each other. Although there is a problematic character in this book, it are not the two leads. I'm glad they found each other!

Imagine one of the Winchesters from Supernatural meeting and falling in love with an intriguing apple farmer while helping her out with her ghost problem, and you’d get Perfectly Wicked. This modern, urban fantasy is a light, easy read for anyone who wants the payoff of a paranormal romance without any of the worldbuilding and heavy lore that often come with the territory. All the characters are fleshed out and I enjoyed following both Holly & Connor’s POVs. The ghost story was fun to follow, and the twist Lovise gives to witchcraft is original and fun.

This book was such a delightful read! The Celeste family is dynamic and highly entertaining, a strong female family. With a reverse grumpy x sunshine theme set in a cosy location with witchy vibes this book is the perfect cosy Autumn read!
It was exactly what I was looking for for this time of year with a little bit of spice and a little bit of magic sprinkled on top! If you want to snuggle up under a duvet with a warm drink and fluffy blankets, this book is the perfect read. Fingers crossed we hear more from @lindsaylovise following the other sisters in the future. I know I would be in line to read it!

I have to say, I absolutely fell in love with "Perfectly Wicked" by Lindsay Lovise! Right from the start, this book pulled me in with its magical vibe. If you’re a fan of Practical Magic like I am, you’re in for a treat—this story has that same blend of romance, family bonds, and a touch of the supernatural that makes it such a comforting and intriguing read.

I loved the tension between Holly and Connor. It’s classic enemies-to-lovers with so much chemistry and a delicious slow burn. Holly is such a strong, determined character, fiercely protective of her family, while Connor is both persistent and genuinely caring. Watching them go from distrust to undeniable attraction was everything I wanted. Plus, Connor’s gentlemanly charm mixed with that hint of protectiveness—without crossing into overbearing territory—was just perfect. And let’s be real, some of his lines had me blushing!

The world Lindsay Lovise creates is just so vivid and cozy. I could practically smell the apples and feel the crisp fall air. The setting of a small-town orchard in Maine, combined with the Celeste family’s magical history, made me want to jump right into the pages and stay there. Holly’s sisters and their quirky aunts add so much life and humor to the story, and I loved learning about their family dynamics and magical legacy.

What I didn’t expect was just how unique this story felt. It blends contemporary romance with paranormal elements in a way that feels fresh and engaging. There’s mystery, there’s magic, there’s a bit of ghost-hunting, and the way all these threads come together is so satisfying. The dual POV between Holly and Connor was also spot-on—I loved being inside both of their heads, especially as their feelings for each other grew.

If you’re looking for a fall read that’s full of witchy vibes, romance, and a bit of mystery, "Perfectly Wicked" should definitely be on your list. It’s the kind of book that wraps you up like a warm blanket on a chilly day. I’m seriously hoping there will be more books featuring Holly’s sisters because I’m not ready to say goodbye to this magical world just yet!
Huge thanks to NetGalley.

This is a fun spooky season romance with a layer of stress added in, as Holly works to keep her family’s secrets as ghost hunter Connor tries his best to uncover them. Connor has an interesting character arc in this and I enjoyed the chemistry between him and Holly but it felt like there was something missing. The vagueness throughout about what Holly and her family were was frustrating as I was itching to have some insight but they spent the majority of the book teasing it only for the ‘big reveal’ to be far less interesting than it was gearing up to be. So all in all it’s a bit of fun with plenty of spooky things going on but did have me a little frustrated at times!

I received a free copy of this book. All views are my own.

It's a cosy read; I like the premise of Holly trying to hide the witch side of her family from Conner but needing the money too much to not let the ghost hunter on the orchard. I liked how Conner saw through most of that. There wasn't much more for me. It's an enjoyable book.

This is a great book for the “ber” months. It’s warm and cosy and had really Practical Magic vibes. It’s a lovely quick read.
A perfect paranormal romance for the spooky season.

This is a very cutesy paranormal romance set on an apple farm. Holly is a little different from other people but keeps herself to herself most of the time. However, when Connor Grimm arrives asking to film his tv series on paranormal activity and ghosts, Holly’s world is turned upside down.

An absolute pleasure, featuring strong female characters! The plot, the characters, and the world-building captivated me. Often, books of this nature can become bogged down with too much exposition, backstory, and world-building, yet this one strikes the perfect balance.

A brilliant and fresh interpretation of the wicked witches. This was like a fresh spring wind, a quick and easy read, the setting is an apple orchard so, it's really a perfect Halloween read, complete with witches, ghosts and more! I devoured this story, you'll want to squeal, fan yourself because it's HOT sometimes and then you'll want to throw a punch, just to go back to squealing again. If you loved the Ex-Hex this book is for you!

I love the vibes of this book and there was moments between the main two characters that I loved. But it seemed there was a lot of stuff that didn't become relevant to the story in the end.i would recommend to other people to read if they wanted a Halloween themed spicy book but this just didn't hit for me.

I really enjoyed this book. It gives off cosy fall vibes and mystical magic. The plot was a paranormal mystery romance and it gripped me from the beginning! There was a nice amount of comedy in there too which I really enjoy. I felt like the ending let it down a little as is dragged on a bit and ended in a cliché “happily ever after” trope which I don’t always love because they can end up being slightly cringe worthy! There was a small amount of spice which was well written. Overall I would recommend to add this to your fall TBR if you like cosy fall mysteries and magic ✨

I thought I'd take a break from the sport romances I've been filling my summer reading and trying something looking forward to autumn and spooky season. Holly comes from a magical family that reminded me of 'Charmed' or 'Sabrina The Teenage Witch' and Connor is a TV presenter with this own brush with the paranormal.

I liked all the female characters in this story - they are feisty with lots of personality and weren't going to be charmed by just any handsome man who walked through their door. So when Holly and Connors romance started to unfold it make it even sweeter (and spicier). I enjoyed their chemistry but the reading the story unfold kept me reading because I wanted to know how it ended.

I finished it in just a few days because I couldn't stop reading. Now I want another spooky, spicy romance for autumn.

I absolutely loved this! I love the Charmed meets Practical Magic vibe. I think it had such a fun concept with the private investigator and trying to hide powers from him. This would make such a cute movie or great book club pick. I think the characters had great chemistry and the storyline was fast paced. I think it’s the perfect book to pick up if you are anxiously awaiting fall

Tentative 4/5

I liked it though the second half dragged on. And I just knew that the secret would be the reason for the third act breakup and that Connor would be blamed. It was typical and I hated it. Just once can you all write romance books without a third-act breakup? If authors can't write the books without the breakup, if they can't I produce a conflict some other way than they shouldn't write. Because it's always the same thing, over and over.

Overall I enjoyed it (except for the third act breakup lol) and I'm intrigued now. I will definitely read more books in the series (because the book was set up as the introduction of the series, with Shadow Council and the like), and I want to know more about Winter (and Erikson! Cause they're gonna get together, right? Right?). Missy isn't my favourite character but hopefully I'll like her more in the next books (if they're getting written lmao).

Thank you, NetGalley and Dialogue Books for sending me the ARC

A reluctant Holly Celeste agrees to let TV Ghost hunting superstar Connor Grimm investigate ghostly sightings on her families apply orchard.
But is there more than just spooky spectres at play? What secrets and truths will be revealed if Connor digs too deep? And what could this mean for Holly and her family?

Despite not actually being set during the Autumn, this is a perfect cosy read that still manages to give off Autumnal/fall vibes. We have charmed meets practical magic, mystery, romance and a dash of spice thrown into the mix.

Each character brings a bit of life into the story, and for once I felt the FMC was written as a strong female lead, without being plagued with unnecessary arrogance. The MMC is just brilliant, and quite frankly I need to find a Connor Grimm of my own!

There are events in the story that leave the possibility of a sequel, potentially from the other characters POVs, something I would love to see.
