I wanted to like this Christmas book so much! What reeled me in was the word “cozy” in the title. And while the recipes were certainly Christmassy, it lacked “onlyness factor,” coziness, and made me skim rather than dive in and grab my ingredients. Unfortunately, this book will not be considered for my personal cookbook collection. Solid idea, though!
Christmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year and this cookbook makes it all the better! I'm not much of a cook but I do love eating especially at Christmas. This book gave me lots of wonderful ideas for yummy treats.
I absolutely love the artwork in this cookbook! It is so cute. The recipes are fantastic, great for large parties. My family absolutely loves the food I made for them this year.
What a fun themed cookbook! It was fun to flip through and pick recipes for the holiday season! I’m excited to use this in the future!
Lovely achievable recipes, perfect for the holiday season. Some twists that were interesting but not overly needed
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to #NetGalley for an ARC of this book
The Cozy Christmas Cookbook should not be overlooked for any other dinner parties outside of the holidays. This book features of a variety of comforting recipes with beautiful photographs. When I think of Christmas dinner I imagine roast, ham, turkey, all the fixings - but this book has a little something for everyone and they could easily be made all year round for any occasion. My personal favourite is the "Mama's Lasagna Cups" imagine showing up to a potluck with those badboys ready to go. Who doesn't love lasagna?! There's even a pumpkin pie creme brulee reciepe that has me salivating - I need to try this recipe ASAP!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious ideas for dinner parties.

These have cute titles but felt like pretty generic, boring recipes. I love to cook but at this point books really have to stand out to be purchaseable, otherwise you can find whatever you need online.
The pictures were fine but not stand-outs.
Some of the recipes are really basic - like crostini? That recipe needs to be paired with something to put it with like a dip, I’m not sure just having it listed in the party board on the next page is enough.
The Christmas breakfast is not a recipe, it is plating instructions for food that was bought or pre-cooked. Same with the rudolph burgers - what is the burger recipe?
Why is the pancake recipe suddenly containing so many odd ingredients - is it gluten free? That should be called out if so. This is a thing throughout - if the alterations are there to make it fit a certain dietary need, label it as such (e.g., coconut milk hot chocolate?). The alterations feel unnecessary if they are not meant to meet certain restrictions, but then to the unknowledgeable eye, I don’t know what they are trying to do.
There are typos as well -e.g., see “spicey” in the Fajita recipe.
Food brings people together. I love the Christmas season, and I love to cook so I was thrilled to receive an ARC copy of this book. The delightful scents of peppermint and cinnamon as well as apple cider waffle through the house. One of the highlights of the Christmas season in our home is hosting a party for friends and neighbors. The Cozy Christmas Cookbook is the perfect addition to my seasonal cookbooks. The recipes in this book are bright, cheerful and delicious. There are 50 easy recipes in this book. Who could resist Orange Glazed Ham, Quiche Me Under the Mistletoe, I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas Nog, and so many other tempting recipes.
The recipes in The Cozy Christmas Cookbook are easy to make even for a novice. They portray the heart of Christmas; some are classics, and some add a twist to the customary dishes. Author Taylor Vance adds personal notes to the entries. The photos are beautifully done. The instructions are easy to follow.
If you only have one Christmas cookbook it should be this one.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC
Thank you to NetGalley for letting me review this cute cookbook.
There are a few things I really liked about this book. The presentation was adorable - lots of sweet illustrations which made this feel extra festive. I loved that each recipe was accompanied by a yummy looking photo. I particularly enjoyed the savoury recipes, but noticed the sweet ones had a lot of alternative, “healthier” ingredients that I don’t typically have in my home or use in festive recipes so I didn’t reach for those as much. Overall, this is a nice option for people who need some holiday inspiration!
This little Christmas cookbook is great. There are traditional dishes and surprises, with fun twists on some of them. The photography is great, and I thought these dishes would be great for a party. The directions are simple, too, so anyone could do this. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.
This was beautifully put together! Like most cookbooks, there were plenty recipes to choose from so everyone should find something that appeals to them. I walked away from this with many recipes to try out!
A cute and cozy cookbook with 50 recipes for Christmas and winter gatherings. There are photographs that accompany each recipe. I thank Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group/Rock Point for the opportunity to read and review this adorable cookbook.
The Cozy Christmas Cookbook is a cookbook filled with recipes that evoke the spirit of Christmas. From a classic spiced mocktail to trendier recipes like vegan Chocolate Peppermint Avocado Mousse, this book includes all kinds of recipes with Christmas-inspired ingredients.
I hosted Christmas again and had been on the lookout for fun new ideas. But after looking through this book, I didn’t feel inspired to make anything in it. I thought the recipe titles felt forced, maybe even a bit lazy. It does seem like a nice cookbook for a beginner cook. The recipes look easy to follow.
Thank you for the advance read!
The Cozy Christmas Cookbook by Taylor Vance is a great resource for Christmas cooking and baking for the Christmas celebration. Any of these recipes can be cooked at any time during the Christmas season.
I loved this cookbook! The Cozy Christmas Cookbook is a wonderful collection of recipes that capture the warmth and spirit of the holiday season perfectly. The recipes ranged from comforting classics to creative new twists. The recipes are very easy to follow and elegantly presented. The author also includes tips for hosting and creating a cozy atmosphere, which makes this book more than just a cookbook. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or a beginner in the kitchen, this book is sure to inspire joyful moments and delicious memories.
The Cozy Christmas Cookbook is exactly as it is tilted. This cookbook is well laid out, with beautiful photos of most of the recipes. There were festive dishes I remember having when I was younger, with some twists to them to make them more modern as well as a bunch of new dishes I cannot wait to try. I have made 2 recipes from this cookbook already and both turned out great. The recipes are easy to read and the directions are easy to follow, I loved the tips and tricks sprinkled throughout the book.
A lot of these recipes felt more like a grocery list than a comprehensive meal. One of the breakfast "recipes" is scrambled eggs, bacon, bagels with cream cheese, and berries?
This festive cookbook is utterly charming and indeed I have ordered myself a hard copy to keep . It fits in well with the current craze for cosy mystery/small town romance books and has many recipes that I will try, although to be honest it's a fun read even if you're not going to make all of the dishes.
