Thanks to the publishers and Net Galley for free ecopy in exchange for review. This is the second book by Katy Brent I have read and it was great to catch up with Kitty. This is a follow on from her first book and I really enjoyed this, so much I read in two settings. This time Kitty has given up her serial killer lifestyle in exchange for a nice chilled life with her boyfriend Charlie. She has been invited to her mums wedding in the south of France but just before she leaves something comes up that might make her change her ways. This is a great female rage book, funny and witty. She hates new social media sensation Blaze Bundy - who gives Andrew Tate vibes and when he starts sending for her on his videos she realises he might be following her to France. Book covers toxic masculinity, violence and friendships. I will be recommending to others and looking out for more books by Katy, Loved this!

Kitty Collins is desperately trying to stay away from murder but misogynists like Blaze Bundy make that resolution tough to fulfil. Just one more to add to the pile can’t hurt surely? When her mother Carmella sends her an invitation to her wedding in the South of France, Kitty is reluctant to go for obvious reasons. However, who is this Gabriel that she’s planning on marrying?? She has no choice other than to go to the Côte d’Azur. Aww shucks, Well, someone has to. Can Kitty Stay out of trouble? Can a duck swim?

This is very easy to read in fact, I glide through it. It’s a highly entertaining fun read with plenty of wit and chuckles. I like Kitty and tbh she has a point! Her methods? Okay, a bit suspect. Oh alright, downright bad but for the right reasons? It has an excellent message and obviously the funny is counterbalanced by the darkly macabre and gory especially when Kitty’s anger at THAT type of man is unleashed. There are several opportunities to guess, there’s loads going on and plenty of twists and turns to keep you engaged in the storyline. It ends on an intriguing note and I’d prefer it to be left there as I think you can have too much of a good thing despite Kitty being a great character. However, I suspect there’s a third one in the pipeline and I’m sure I’ll want to read it!

Overall, it’s not easy to write a good follow up to a successful novel but suffice it to say Katie Brent has nailed it.

I was so excited for Kitty’s comeback and this book did not disappoint!

Kitty is a serial killer. A serial killer of men. Bad men. And safe to say, pretty unhinged. The girl needs some therapy 

We follow her as she joins a female anger/rage group, attends her mothers wedding abroad and discovers a new misogynistic social influencer named Blaze Bundy who is more than a little clued up on who and what Kitty does.

Kitty insists she’s done with killing for good… that doesn’t last long…

I thoroughly enjoyed both of these books. Thrillers with a side of witt and humour but also heartbreaking truths

A hilarious feminist protagonist that enjoys killing? What’s not to love!?

This book is an easy 5⭐️s and a must read in the new year!

With feminine rage currently at a high with the state of the world the two books in this series are worth a read. None of the circumstances are too far from what reality is a sad reality for women. ⁣Kitty’s victims are not the ones you’ll feel sorry for in this story, and I guarantee you’ll be on her side.

I’m hoping that there’s a book 3 in the future to read more of Kitty.

The second book in the series, carries on with Kitty’s story. I absolutely loved the first book, so I was so excited to be granted an ARC of this book through Netgalley.

The story follows on from the previous book. Kitty has now given up on social media, whilst also trying to control her urges to murder people that she thinks deserve it. But none of this is as easy as Kitty thought it would be. Especially when a mysterious influencer named Blaze Bundy pops up, sprouting his hate towards women and dangerous views. Kitty finds it really hard to control herself, especially when he starts targeting her. You’ll have to wait and see for yourselves whether she gives in.

I thought this book was a great continuation of ‘How to Kill Men and Get Away With It’. It was full of mystery and dark humour, which I really liked. I also loved the plot. I thought it was a great way to continue Kitty’s story. It really was a fast-paced thriller, full of excitement, twists, gore, humour and emotion. It was a complete rollercoaster from start to finish.

I absolutely love Kitty as a FMC. I love how protective she is of her loved ones, and that she would do just about anything for them. She may not always go about things in the right way and instead act on impulse, but ultimately she really does care for them and try to protect them.

When it comes to that ending, I was convinced that I had worked out who Blaze was but I was so wrong. Honestly that twist… I did not see it coming! I don’t want to give too much away, because honestly I think this book was a great read and think everyone should give it a go.

In my opinion this really was the perfect sequel. I would love to see what happens next in Kitty’s story.

Do make sure you read ‘How to Kill Men and Get Away with It’ before reading this book, otherwise I think you’ll be confused and would have missed a lot of Kitty’s story.

Another wonderful novel from this brilliant author. Had doubts about a follow on to "How to Kill Men & Get Away With It" but it exceeded all expectation. Great plot line and fab characters - kept me hooked from begiining to end.

Pick up this gorgeous hug of a book and get transported to a beautiful place wraps itself round you like a cosy blanket. It has warmth, charm, laugh-out-loud moments and a wistful nostalgia. I absolutely loved it. Kitty is back !!!

An excellent next instalment in what appears to be a series for Katy Brent. If you enjoyed the first book - and I certainly did - this is more of the same; quick, slick & funny but with an underlying message about the inherent danger there is in simply being born a woman. This book progresses Kitty’s path, picking up old threads and introducing new ones. If you enjoyed the Sweetpea series, you’ll probably find a lot to like here also.

Kitty Collins is back! Well, sort of. She's giving up on social media and murdering. It's hard to quit an addiction, but she's doing really well. Until she isn't...

It took me a bit to get into it, but you know what? Once I did, I much preferred it over the first book. This is delightfully violent feminist fun.
Kitty is still completely unhinged and could probably do with some healthier outlets (rage room, anyone?), but as far as serial killers go, she's a pretty good one. It was the side characters that stole the show and added some real depth to the story though. If you enjoyed How to Kill Men and Get Away with it, you'll love the sequel. If you haven't read it yet, start there! Excellent book if you're feeling a bit of feminist rage. Don't try this at home, kids.

Looking forward to the next Kitty Collins book, but first I think I need a lovely wholesome romance novel...

A great little caper that takes you from London to the South of France - I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This is the first book I’ve read by Katy Brent and I was very impressed with the writing style, the wit and the story. It was evident it was a sequel so that was a little distracting, though it was all explained well enough and didn’t affect the plot too much. I did struggle a little to connect with the side characters who are quite vital to moving the plot forwards - Antoinette and Ben. Would I have felt more invested if I’d read book one? Will I feel more invested after reading the next in the series? I’ll get back to you after book three!

This was so fun! I really enjoyed the first one, and this one was really interesting and fun as well. Kitty Collins is trying her absolute BEST to stop being a murderess of terrible men, which includes her going to a women’s anger management club which I loved. This was set largely in France which was interesting but not a massive part of the story.

I thought that Blaze’s character was an interesting addition, he was so annoying and such a hateable character. He seemed so intense that it might’ve been unbelievable if I hadn’t seen men like this actually on the internet. I did NOT guess who he was, didn’t see that plot twist coming! And then the plot twist that came after this (I don’t want to spoil it!) but I didn’t see that coming either but I loved it! I thought it made the ending really interesting because it didn’t go exactly where I thought it was going to, but I thought it was a good ending even though it wasn’t necessarily happy.

In summary, I can’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil anything! But I thought the setting was nice, the stakes were high, and I loved the way that this story went. If you liked the first one then you’ll definitely like this one too.

I Bet You’d Look Good In A Coffin is the sequel to How To Kill Men And Get Away With It, and follows Kitty Collins again as she ventures to the South of France for her mother’s wedding. She’s moved on from her past and realised she doesn’t want to kill, after all she has everything she needs now. But some men just really really deserve it… and one more kill won’t hurt, will it?

I love Kitty’s character, and as a serial killer i know we shouldn’t root for her, but I wholeheartedly do! She is a fully pledged unhinged female main character, unapologetically feminist and has a dark, witty mind that’s full of gallows humour and bloodlust.

I love that the book pretty much picks up where the first book ended, and is told from Kitty’s perspective only. I liked the familiarity of the characters from How To Kill Men And Get Away With It, as well as the new faces introduced which added a new complexity and more importantly, a bigger victim pool!

I Bet You’d Look Good In A Coffin has a thrilling, quick pace and a few twists throughout that kept me on my toes and turning the pages to see what the hell Kitty was about to do next. The plot itself is delightfully dark, humorous and painted red with the blood of the misogynistic and evil.

I can’t wait to see where Kitty ends up next, as I know full well her story is not finished yet!

Kitty Collins, everyone's favourite vegan serial killer is back!

A year on from where we left her last, she's now living with her lovely boyfriend Charlie, has joined a support group for angry women and hasn't murdered anyone for over a year.

But men are still doing bad things and an incel influencer appears to have it in for Kitty. It's not long until she's back to her vigilante ways and feeling like her old self. We also see Kitty reconnect with her estranged Mum as she prepares to marry the younger, handsome Gabriel, the wedding will go without a hitch right?

I enjoyed the first book and thought this was a really good sequel. Plenty of dark humour to get us through the more gruesome bits.

This is book number two about Kitty Collins' adventutes and she's just as vengeful as ever, despite trying to go cold turkey. Blaze is out to get her and although I worked out pretty soon who he was there's still a couple of surprises and laughs along the way.
I thought the story was slightly better in the first one but by the end I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next one...

I loved Katy Brent’s first book, how to kill men and get away with it so I jumped at the chance to read this one. It did not dissapoint, I LOVED this book. It had plenty of plot twists to keep you gripped and guessing. Katy Brent knows how to write character that you can both love and hate. This is a must read! I really hope there’s a third book.

Such fun! I loved 'How to kill men and get away with it' and in this sequel we pick up where we left off, with our anti-heroine now settled into a relationship, trying to stay off the murders but itching to exact revenge on bad men.

This time the story line takes us off to the glamour of the south of France, for her mother's wedding. Kitty Collins is the perfect character, flawed, dangerous and yet glam and here to protect women,

I just love the premise of these books and feel that Katy Brent has left a delicious ending that could translate to another chapter of Kitty's story.
