Absolutely devoured this follow up, Kitty Collins is back and sassier than ever. I really enjoyed the first book in the series and was intrigued as to where we would see Kitty go next after giving up influencing and as it is a set a year after her last kill. This is well written and a great follow up, I didn’t want to put it down. Really looking forward to seeing where Kitty goes next…

I was so excited to get an advance copy of Kitty Collin’s latest adventures and I was not disappointed. I was so torn between devouring in one sitting and not wanting it to end. Dark, twisted and laugh out loud funny. I absolutely loved this book and am eagerly awaiting the next!

An absolute rollercoaster from start to finish. Kitty is back with a vengeance in this thrilling sequel and I loved every second of it. I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin, is dark, witty but, also quite harrowing when dealing with the aftermath of abuse and assault. Charlie, and Carmella were standout favourites of mine and I adored the climactic twists concerning Kitty’s nemesis Blaze. Katy Brent is one of my favourite authors, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to read this. More than five stars.
Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

In a desperate attempt to stop killing men, Kitty finds herself in a women's only anger group, but when there are dangerously misogynistic men around like 'Blaze Bundy', who else is going to stop them?
Kitty Collin's is the only serial killer i'd root for. She is funny, sharp-tongued, sassy and will NOT take any shit from a man. Although very comedic and fictionalised, it was so refreshing to read a book that was not afraid to bring up issues that are so prominent and realistic for women. I haven't read Katy Brent's first book with Kitty, but that didn't make a difference as I didn't feel lost or like I was missing any information. I loved the writing, the pace of the plot, and the few twists throughout that kept me hooked.
Thank you NetGalley and HQ for giving me an advanced copy in return for an honest review.

Its still Kitty for prime minister!
She needs some therapy for sure but don't we all. The follow up from the last book really ticked all the boxes and I ate it all the way up. I wish I could read it all again for the first time even though I literally just finished.
Thank you HQ and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy.

I loved the first Kitty Collins book and I loved this one! It’s full of dark humour and is a pacey, fun read. Kitty is a great main character and you root for her even though you shouldn’t!
Great read!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book ‘How to kill men and get away with it’ so was delighted to get to review this sequel ‘I bet you’d look good in a coffin’.
Well t certainly didn’t disappoint, we’re back with Katie as our leading lady, she’s stopped her influencer life and settled in a cosy life with Charlie. But that’s about to be shaken and stirred, when Kitty is riled up by an injustice! It’s about to get dramatic!

Many thanks to netgalley, the author and the publisher for approving my request to read this book.
I just loved this book! Hugely entertaining, dark, funny and twisted I raced through this one and am feeling a bit lost now it's over.
I will be highly recommending this to my friends-5 stars from me!

This was a great 2nd installment of Kitty and I'm hoping there will be more to come in future! 👀 As with the first book, this was fast paced and kept me gripped from start to finish.
However there were a few small discrepancies, such as a vegan buying their mother a 'caviar facial'. From my understanding caviar = fish eggs, so a true vegan would not do this.
Plus in chapter 36 Kitty seems to polish off the booze from the minibar, twice? "I polish off the last of the booze from the minibar - lager, gross". She then orders wine on room service (presumably because the minibar has been emptied), but then a paragraph later: "I clumsily get dressed, finishing off the contents of the minibar as I do so; a red wine and two cans of pre-mixed gin and tonic".
Overall anothet great book from Katy Brent! Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of the book.

Thank you SO much to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for an early copy of I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin in exchange for an honest review. This book completely sucked me into Kitty Collins’ world, and I am OBSESSED.
Before getting this ARC, I’d been avoiding How to Kill Men and Get Away With It (the first book in the series) like the plague. Why? Because it was everywhere, and with How to Kill Your Family by Bella Mackie out at the same time, I assumed it’d be more of the same. But since I can’t bring myself to read a second book in a series without starting with the first, I finally gave it a go. And wow, I’m so glad I did because this second book? It’s on a whole new level.
Don’t get me wrong, the first book was good—dark, funny, and addictive—but I found parts of it a bit repetitive. I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin, though? Oh my god. This one had me hooked from start to finish. Some of the twists I saw coming, but they were still so satisfying, and a few near the end completely blindsided me. I was honestly in shock—in the best way.
Nothing screams “fuck the patriarchy” more than this book. Taylor Swift would be so proud.
Kitty Collins is an icon, you can’t do anything but love her, and Katy Brent absolutely nailed it. If you haven’t read these books yet, you’re seriously missing out. I couldn’t recommend this more!

That twist?! Holy hell.
This was genuinely so good! Katy Brent has to be one of my favourite authors. I’ve read her previous work and loved them and this one is up there with the rest.
Kitty is honestly the character we all want to be and do the things we do.
I will admit I didn’t buy the near ending when the WHOLE FAMILY help her just a bit meh especially her mum fiancé who barely knows her but who am I?
I shall say nothing more but say this. I enjoyed this.

This is the second book in the series, I haven't read the first but want to now! It worked as a standalone, but I think reading the first before this would help understanding as characters and relationships are already established.
Kitty is a serial killer with morals - she will only kill men who deserve to die. In this book, she is settled with boyfriend Charlie, and is trying desperately to steer clear of murder. When she finds out her mother is getting married again, she gets off to France with Charlie and friends - can she get through the break murder-free?
This was a quick easy read, and was left nicely set up for a third book. The twist towards the end was perfect, and I look forward to the next story!

I was so excited to read this early through Netgalley! I love Katy Brent books, they have strangely become a comfort read for me!
I loved this addition and hope to follow Kitty on more adventures in the future.

I absolutely love Katy’s ability to write female rage tbh because so much of the stuff about women and what we have to deal with in this book is so real (minus the murdering of course). I did thoroughly enjoy this however I felt like Kitty didn’t totally feel like herself in this book, like the slip up before going to France just felt like it wasn’t something she’d ever do because she’s too clever?? I enjoyed the plot, and the twist, but I did feel like somethings were wrapped up too quickly for my liking and could’ve been drawn out a bit more! Would recommend though as it’s a quick and easy read!

Kitty Collins is back but this time she’s on her best behaviour. Living with her lovely boyfriend Charlie, she’s trying to stop her angry urges. Charlie cannot find out she’s a serial killer!
This book was so good. I loved the first Kitty Collins book and this one was equally as brilliant. It is dark and twisted but there is humour in there and it also brings some pretty serious issues into focus.
There are some interesting characters, not all good ones, some pretty awful ones in truth but nothing Kitty can’t handle.
I really hope there will be more Kitty Collins books and o definitely recommend checking them out!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Kitty's back! And boy, does she have some issues 🤣
Overall this book was very entertaining. Very female poweresk and boo to all men. I thought I knew where the plot was going but it ended up going in a different direction which was a nice surprise.
My only issue was how childish she is with her voice. It's humorous at times but it grated on me towards the end.
Otherwise, I highly recommend this book to those who love a good female vigilante story. And be prepared for some gore and omg moments!

‘I can’t decide if that’s more or less f****d up than me being a vegan serial killer’
Kitty Collins is back!! Attempting to stay on the straight and narrow, avoiding all things murder. However, that’s easier than done, especially with misogynistic Blaze Bundy promoting radicalisation of violence towards women through his social media platforms.
Welcome back Kitty - this woman is an icon! An easy, entertaining read, it’s charming, kooky and funny juxtaposed with malevolence and gore. Is it normal to root for a serial killer to have a happy ending? Hell yes it is!!!! Fabulous 😊
Many thanks to NetGalley and HQ for the advanced eARC
Publication Date: 30th January 2025

Oh Kitty I missed you! I loved Katy's first foray into Kitty Collins the killer with a mission. So, this one was a perfect treat for me. Kitty hasn't killed in some time, and she misses it, oh how she misses it. But she mustn't! Or should she?!
The story arch kept me guessing, though it was a little predictable at times, and I felt that some of Kitty's punch had left her, she was more vulnerable this time, but it sometimes came off as whingy.
I loved the twists and turns and gobbled up the last third of the book swiftly to find out what the heck was going on. There were a couple of disconnects for me - and example - Kitty asks a taxi driver to wait for her, but she's ages and lots happens, then she leaves and the taxi isn't mentioned.
A great page turner, with a little less bite than the first book.

Katy Brent has done it again. I am a huge fan of her work, so much so I have self-titled myself as her number one fan, and I actually think this book may be my favourite of hers yet. It features none other than Kitty Collins herself, revolving around her life 'sober' and thriving.
But, of course, that blissful peace does not last for long. This book was FULL of plot twists, power and chaos - in the greatest way possible. I absolutely adore Kitty as a character and with her return, it felt so divine to go into the book already knowing her, how she works and the things she hates the most. It felt like a very natural progression in the narrative and, as always, Brent wrote with such grit and honesty.
The topics explored were hard-hitting, but were written with integrity and humour traced throughout.
An absolute blinder.

I enjoyed Katy Brent’s book How to kill men and get away with it so was delighted to get to review the sequel, I bet you’d look good in a coffin. This new book didn’t disappoint and we get to meet again Kitty and her friends, Maisie and Tor. Kitty has stopped killing bad men, rejected her influencer life and is in a relationship with her live in boyfriend Charlie. But that cosy life is about to be shattered when Kitty is riled up by an injustice, together with her obsession with a misogynistic blogger, Blaze Bundy who seems to be equally obsessed with her. The drama is alleviated by the humour and the writing is slick and easy to read. I devoured this book in almost one sitting. I’m greedy though and want more stories about Kitty. Hurry up Katy Brent and write more please.
