Thank you to NetGalley for the e-arc of this book. I was desperate to read this after reading How to Kill Men and Get Away with it and I’m so grateful to get to read this early!

Kitty is back and is a serial killer. She doesn’t want to be but she can’t help it. There are too many misogynistic, horrible men who have done horrible things to women and Kitty believes these men really deserve it. Blaze Bundy, a social media “influencer”, has grown so quickly on Instagram and is out to get Kitty, she’s desperate to find out who he is; but she’s currently in the South of France watching her Mother get married.

I absolutely loved this book!! I was hooked from the start; the storyline and Katy Brent’s writing style are both so good! Even though Kitty was a bit crazy and definitely needs therapy, I adored her and was so glad someone is doing something about these terrible men!

Highly recommend this book. It was captivating, thrilling, funny, entertaining and real which made for a really satisfying read!

I loved Katy’s first book in the series (to the point where I recommend it to everyone!) and was so excited to get my teeth into it. And oh boy was I rewarded. Spiky, funny, twisty, satisfying, surprising, heartbreaking - everything I wanted from the continuation of Kitty’s story and more. Katy’s characters always feel like living, breathing people and some writers never achieve that - here it seems to come easily. I’m so excited for the next novel in the series as I need so much more!

Kitty doesn't want to murder men anymore. Men who deserve it. Men who hate women, mistreat women and men that think women are a plaything until they are bored of them and can just discard of them

But the temptation is too great. She has to get justice for these women.

Full of action, witty and gruesome all at the right moments. This is an easy to read sit back and put your feet up kind of thriller.

Murder shouldn’t bring an amusing or witty read, but this is a great fun ride from the first page to the last. I’ve known Kitty Collins, the lead character and regular murderer of unworthy men, since her previous excellent hilarious book. By the beginning of this story, she’s trying not to kill men who she decides deserve to die, but her will is broken by certain characters she meets. Her mother is getting married and Kitty thinks the step father deserves to die, but she is slightly unsure about this potential slaying. The writing is page turning quick, very funny and helps the reader to agree with her motives, even if her long term boyfriend doesn’t know. Kitty spends a lot of time wondering about someone she killed by mistake and the murder of an old female friend, because things didn’t quite work out. It was impossible to know where the story was going and to guess who could sit next on her list, but the twists and turns keep the reader engaged to the very end. I hope there’s another in this series.

Whilst I really enjoyed this book, I definitely preferred the 1st one. I think because I went into reading that quite blind so I was shocked by how crazy it was haha so this one didn't shock me as much... it follows Kitty straight from where the 1st book finishes so I would say you definitely can't read this as a standalone. I loved the character development and the fact that Kitty is trying not to kill in this book 😅 but she just can't seem to get the thoughts out her head. Just like the 1st book it covers some difficult subjects and whilst hard to read at times, it's great how Katy has written them. The last 5 or 6 chapters had my jaw open and I just couldn't believe that ending.

Such a fun read! Witty, with a clever premise.

Kitty is a great character, easy to relate to and likeable.

Read if you want an easy and fun book.

I loved this one. I've read Brent's other books, and this one didn't disappoint. I love the dark humour, the way the plot develops and the mysteries of the characters are unveiled. I love the unreliable/unlikable narrator, and I respect the overall message at the end of the book. I really look forward to reading more books from Katy Brent cos I think she has a great modern style. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved this book. I was totally drawn in by the title, having not read Katy Brent’s first book in the Kitty Collins series, but I knew from the blurb that it was one I would enjoy, right up my street.

Kitty is your typical anti-heroine. Serial killer by night, witty, sassy girlfriend of Charlie Chambers by day. After being taunted by horrendously misogynistic social media influencer Blaze Bundy she heads to the south of France for her mother’s wedding and gets into all kinds of bother.

In a similar vein to Bella Mackie’s How to Kill Your Family, this book is dark, humorous, thought provoking, emotional at times and totally unputdownable. I’ll definitely be looking out for more to read from Katy Brent.

The premise is excellent and the main character is a perfect embodiment of modern female rage. The book is scarily accurate in its depiction of the abuse women continue to suffer at the hands of men, and society, sometimes hitting slightly too close to home.

The book itself is quite funny in parts, full of action and doesn’t shy away from some gruesome detail. It is, however, very trigger happy on murder and you do have to suspend disbelief somewhat, at how many characters can be involved (and get away with it).

Sadly, the ending felt rushed, a tad unsatisfactory, and contained some sizeable plot holes. It’s also clear the author has a level of hatred for men - which I can get onboard with, but it did ultimately detract from the storyline at times.

I loved How To Kill Men and Get Away With It so I was thrilled to get an approved for an ARC. I always worry the second book in a series won't be quite as good as the first but this was brilliant and I hope we'll get a third installment.

After the events of book one, Kitty has left her old ways in the past and she's been pretty successful, she's happy in all aspects of her life, she's content. But, her new, peaceful life is ruined when a certain online presence appears on her Instagram feed and he's just determined to get on her wrong side.

It's difficult to say too much about book two because I really don't want to ruin book one because that was equally brilliant.

Kitty is a brilliant protagonist, she's funny, witty and despite her being a serial killer, she just wants women to be safe and feel safe.

Katy Brent is one of my auto-buy authors. I also loved The Murder After The Night Before and I'll read anything she writes.

The second Katy Brent book I have read and like the first a quick and fun read. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the chance to ARC this .

Extremely, fun, adult satire. Kitty Collins is back. What a joy for you and me. Not so much for the misogynistic that she, and her friend meet. Because although she has tried very hard to stay on the straight and narrow, putting things right by killing them just feels so good. But it would seem things are never quite as straight forward and simple as she might wish. Again, fun for you and me as her troubles and the deaths mount up. I hope there are more Kitty Collins books to come, the two so far have been killers (pun intended.) Thank you to HQ and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.

Kitty Collins is back.

After telling herself there will be no more murder, and to enjoy her new happy life, Kitty is still trying to control her anger about the misogyny and threatening men in this world.
When Blaze Bundy, a new influencer, is spreading dangerous and misogynistic content online, with a following full of men. Would one more kill hurt?
Kitty is invited to her mother’s wedding in France, an event that should be happy, but Kitty has murder on the mind.

I really enjoyed this book and struggled to put it down reading way in to the night. I haven’t long finished the first book, but this book goes over the details so it doesn’t matter if you’ve forgotten bits or haven’t read it. (Although I would recommend reading the first one as it’s just as good, and you got to see the start of Kitty). Kitty is a flawed character but you can’t help but root for her. It raises some moral questions. It really makes you think how difficult it can be to be a woman in a misogynistic culture, and how relatable some of these characters are. The blaze bundy character is similar to some influencers you see online. And you really feel the anger of some of the woman and the dangers they’ve faced, which unfortunately happen all the time. But you also see women empowerment, friendships and family bonds. This book has deep meanings but also a fun side to it which makes it easy to get through, it keeps you guessing and I am really hoping there is a third!!

Kitty Collins is back. Book #2 and it didn’t disappoint. A dark, funny, witty, clever twisted read. I loved it!
It’s entertaining, fun and easy to read and I was hooked from the first few chapters . I couldn’t put it down.
I love the storyline and the relatable characters. Kitty is a brilliant FMC. You can’t help but root for her. She is so funny and a fascinating character.
An engrossing addictive fast paced story. Definitely recommend this one if you enjoy this genre. It’s well worth the read.

Absolutely loved this story and following Kitty on her journey of trying not to be a serial killer! This has its funny moments as well as its emotional journey through the trials and tribulations of friendship, partners and family.

I was so happy to have the opportunity to read this before its release - The sequel to How To Kill Men And Get Away With It

The main character Kitty is one of my favourite characters from a book, she’s iconic!

This read has everything: good amount of crime, dark humour, drama, sass, emotion, a full & bursting story line, well written characters, the list goes on & on. This book pulled me in straight from page 1 and I looked forward to any opportunity to pick it up.

I absolutely loved the first book, and this follow up is just as good, maybe even better!

If you’ve not read how to kill men and get away with it, start it now and you should be finished before the month end and you can treat yourself to book two when it’s released.

The last thing I will say, there better be a third book in the works, I NEED MORE!

Absolutely loved this! I was so invested in the story and loved all the plot twists. Kitty is such an interesting character and I found myself rooting for her throughout the book. I wasn’t aware that this was part of a series, so I look forward to reading the other books!

Thank you NetGalley for the early copy!

A murderously good read!

Thank you NetGalley and HQ Digital for access to this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was another great read from Katy Brent. I would never have imagined we would be routing for a serial killer!

Kitty Collins is settled in life with her boyfriend, but the temptation to kill hasn’t gone away and the reasons for it. Kitty is obsessed with following a misogynous influencer by the name, Blaze Bundy. She has no idea who they are or why they are spreading such content, but then bodies turn up nearby and messages are sent to her inbox. Before long Kitty realises they knows who she is, but she does not have the luxury of knowing who they are.

Kitty starts to struggle with her addiction and needs a quick fix, however, she does not imagine events to turn out the way that they do. She also has to attend her Mother’s wedding in France, and finds life quick spiralling out of her control.

This was an excellent read, with acerbic humour and a storyline to keep us guessing throughout. Katy Brent approaches some serious topics in this book, but does so in a very clever way as to highlight awareness, rather than delve too deeply.

My only criticism would be a slightly unbelievable ending, however, if not taken too seriously, you will enjoy as much as I did. I genuinely love following Kitty Collins, and hope for a number three in the series. Really well recommended.

We’re back with our murderous heroin, Kitty Collins, who’s on the road to recovery from her favorite pastime.. murder. Following up on our first encounter with Kitty Collins in ‘How to Kill Men and Get Away With It’, this book continues her escapades, where she punishes men she believes deserve it after committing crimes against women. The character development is great, and it was lovely to see more of Kitty’s mom in this book. The writing style is so compelling that you won’t even feel bad for Kitty’s victims. Katy Brent skillfully portrays the despair many women endure when attempting to seek justice for crimes perpetrated by misogynistic men in a system that inherently disadvantages them.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it. If you enjoy female rage portrayed in a vigilante manner, this is a must-

I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin is a sharp, darkly comedic thriller that blends biting humour with a chilling narrative.

Brent’s writing is punchy and engaging, weaving satire into a suspenseful plot. The book deftly critiques influencer culture, gender dynamics, and societal hypocrisies without losing its gripping pace. Kitty's morally complex character keeps readers guessing—simultaneously rooting for her and questioning her actions.

While some moments lean heavily on exaggerated humor, they add to the book's over-the-top charm. Fans of Killing Eve or How to Kill Your Family will appreciate the mix of wit, darkness, and intrigue.

Overall, I Bet You’d Look Good in a Coffin is a thrilling and refreshingly subversive read, perfect for anyone who enjoys their crime fiction with a splash of sardonic humor.
