With wonderful, vibrantly colored illustrations and mindful self-care rituals, Cosmic Self-Care is terrific. There’s a lot in here; I really liked many of the seasonal rituals and have put some dates on my calendar of specific ones I’d like to add to my life.
I got a lot from this book.
This is one I’ll be getting for my own bookshelf and it’s a recommendation from me for anyone looking to embrace some new self-care practices.
Thank you to Leaping Hare Press and NetGalley for the DRC

Mystics and non-mystics alike would benefit from this solid framework for consistent self-care, presence, meditation, and self-awareness. I have read similar books and this one has provided the clearest explanations of the lunar, planetary, zodiac, and wheel of the year calendars. The rituals, though requiring crystals and candles for most, are very doable without over-the-top instructions. I will be purchasing and recommending this to all.

"Whether you resonate with the Moon's phases, the zodiac seasons, the Wheel of the Year, planetary transits, or all of the above, this book has got you covered."
This book has a lot! I think the rituals in it are pleasant and well-thought-out. One thing to note is that because all of these rituals are tied to a specific date or season, you are limited by that. You can't just open it up and find a ritual for any time. I think the only ones that definitely cover all days are the zodiac seasons. All the others are very specific times.
My favorite part was the explanations about the Wheel of the Year and different seasons.
It has a thorough table of contents and a usable index, which I love.
Although most of this information is available for free online in some place or the other, if you do want to buy it in book form to have it altogether, this is a great book.
This review is also posted to my Goodreads.

While I can’t tell you if any of these rituals work I can say this book is full of fun ways to honor the rhythms of life be they the changing seasons, the wheel of the year, new and full moons etc. Each one laid out with a explanation on one page and ingredients and instructions on the other. I’m interested to try these over the course of the next year.

I really like this and will be using it frequently. I find it difficult to remember to practice self care and this book is very accessible while also making it feel like it would add a bit of magic to your life

I read this in one go and it's a book I will be using often and reflecting back on the tasks of self care. Definitely recommend to anyone who needs to focus on their self care and are spiritual

Cosmic Self-Care is the kind of book you pick up when you're craving a little more magic in your daily life—without the overwhelming complexity.
What I really appreciated about Cosmic Self-Care is how accessible it is. The rituals are designed to be easy and approachable, making them perfect even if you’re just starting out or looking to add a touch of spirituality to your routine. From moon phases to planetary transits and the zodiac seasons, the book covers a wide range of cosmic tools that can seamlessly fit into any practice.
However, don’t expect super in-depth content here. The information is kept fairly light, which can be both a blessing and a limitation. If you're looking for deeper dives into astrology or the Wheel of the Year, you might need to supplement with other resources. But honestly, that’s part of the charm—it gives you a taste and leaves the door open for further exploration on your own terms.
The rituals themselves are refreshingly simple, which is a win in my book. No need for elaborate tools or complex steps. Just pure, grounded practices that help you tune in to yourself and the universe. It’s perfect for those days when you want a little cosmic connection without a huge time commitment.
So if you're looking for a beautifully packaged guide to spiritual self-care that's easy to incorporate into your life, Cosmic Self-Care is a lovely place to start!

A sweet handbook to working on yourself with the magic of the universe. I love the idea of working with the different energetic times to maximize healing potential.

I do not believe in zodiac signs, and astrology at all. I will take astrology seriously. Though, I like to read things out of my comfort zone and beliefs, often to see what others think and learn more about different perspectives and rituals. Then, there is the mind emptying quality of these reads.
This is a well-presented and comprehensive guide of cosmic rituals. Perfect for astrology fans.
