Thank you to the publisher for the earc!
I was so excited to return to T awney to Reyna and Kianthe! Now we are preparing for a
wedding which is going to be the biggest event of the Continent! They are expecting a lot of
guests, some are more welcomed than others.
After the previous book’s adventure our characters are back in T awney and I love this tiny
town so much! Can I move there? It has good neighbors and most importantly, baby
dragons. Who love to cause mayhem, but at least they are adorable.
I really enjoyed the story, things get more intense in each book. This time they were planning
to overthrow Queen Tilaine, and holding the biggest wedding may be the perfect opportunity
to do it. Of course, nothing goes as they planned, so Kianthe (or more like Locke) proposed
a plan B, which surprised no one, but Reyna.
We got new characters, we met with Kianthe’s parents, and her oldest friend. Her parents
weren't thrilled with the news of their upcoming wedding, so there was some tension
between them at first. But it’s a cozy fantasy so I think a happy ending was bound to happen.
It took them a while, especially for her mother, to accept Reyna, but they did, so it’s one big,
happy family now!
The other new characters were T assa and James, and without saying too much, let me just
say I adored the way T essa stood up for her decision. She didn’t care what people wanted
her to do, it was her choice in the end. Also I ship James and Fauston (Kianthe’s old friend)
so much! I hope we can see more of them in the last book!
Overall, I really loved this book, and cannot wait for the last one!

Tea You at the Altar by Rebecca Thorne is a masterpiece! I totally recommend everyone to read this book as fast as they can because it's really good and the characters are fantastic.

Really enjoyed this and a lovely continuation to the series. Very funny in places with wonderful characters. Warm and cozy.

Tea You at the Altar brings us back to Rebecca Thorne's sweetest duo, Kianthe and Reyna, this time with a scheme. The scheme is Wedding! The setting is the small town of Tawney, and the theme is 'don't piss of the royalty.... yet'.
As per usual, this is the epitome of cosy fantasy. Kianthe and Reyna are just utterly precious in their hope, their kindness, and their love for one another. Not to mention they now have a growing found family, with neighbours, local politicians, pirates, gryphons, even some dragons? But now there's an event drawing an even bigger crowd. Including uninvited guests, distant parents, childhood friends, suspiciously royal-looking travellers, and even some potential spies!
A thoroughly enjoyable story. I have such a nice time in these books, and I will continue to have a nice time in the next one I guarantee. I get so excited to return to the small town of small problems and large personalities. Ponder has my heart and soul, and I will see you all in book four. (After book two doubled the number of lesbians, I think Thorne is going for the record of gays getting together in her books. And I, for one, am delighted by this turn of events.)

I adored this as much as I did the first book in the series! Perfect continuation of the story, the same wonderful cozy vibes and wonderful story telling. I cannot wait for the next one!

Another instalment on the cosy series….this time a little more like an adventure with friends than curling up for a brew with them. A great read!

A delightful 3rd installment to this cozy fantasy series - there was a lot more political intrigue in this one along with all the mandatory cozy moments. And we ended on a big cliff hanger this time so looking forward to the next one!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book. A gorgeous 4 star read book from me. What an exciting plot, vivid storytelling and relatable, rich characters. I could put this book down – absolutely loved it.

Thanks to NetGalley and Publisher for providing ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Firstly, Rebecca has best Dedications, here take a look:
To anyone who thinks a relationship like Kianthe and Reyna’s isn’t “realistic,” but secretly wants it so badly it hurts . . . I know the feeling. And I can assure you, somewhere in the world, there is a pretty person who will bake you cookies and buy you swords and fight your dragons. Never give up.
Frankly, I enjoyed this book more than the 1st two. Kianthe and Reyna are getting married in 7 days and that have so much pre-wedding preparation to do. Can they get married that easily when they're hosting friends, family, lords, politicians, pirates, baby dragons, baby griffin and who not?
Best cozy fantasy to read curling in a sofa with tea.

I must say, I think this book is the one I enjoyed the most inthe series. It is funny, tender, with great political intrigue and quite a lot of things happening on different side while remaining emotionnaly satisfying (let's not talk about the cliff hanger though).
Rebecca Thorne manages to have competent and yet funny characters, with enough flaws to be interesting and to lead into great challenges, making the various relationships all the more a delight to read.
The book is a perfect fit for people looking for a cosy read with high stakes, mythical creatures likes dragons and griffons, romance but also friendship and a good slice of political side plot line. I must say I am not the fondest of the world, which feels too similar to our own in some aspects, but overall it is working and has great ideas as well as various cultures and political infrastructure.
A delight!
