I'm going through my book list and reading the books I can get ahold of, and I've been trying to read this book but I just can't get into it. It feels almost devoid of emotion and is very detailed, but it's bogging the story down for me. I can't connect with the characters, either. I'm afraid it's going to have to go on my DNR pile, but since I feel like this could just be a case of me personally not connecting with it, I would prefer not to leave a review on Goodreads or Amazon. Thank you for the opportunity though.
