The story, set in the year 2137, follows a series of events around Mars and the Asteroid Belt that reveal a disturbing truth about life out there in the universe. For centuries, a race of epenthetic alien humanoids have been harvesting the human populace covertly as fodder, sharing the solar system undetected. Forced to openly attack workers on Mars and mining vessels in the Asteroid Belt, these ‘harvesters’ alert the people of Earth and Mars to their presence. As plans are drawn up to defend the Martian Inhabitants from these hostile, bloodthirsty creatures, military teams are dispatched by the European government on Earth to assist in a battle that will ultimately decide the fate of the human race.

Born in Ashford, Middlesex, in 1958, Anthony Sparrow attended Stanwell Secondary School followed by Brooklands Technical College. He embarked on a career in Information Technology in 1976. Anthony achieved minor success with his early literary writing, publishing various short stories and magazine articles. Of the many novels started, finally one has been completed.
